INEC should stop using these VCs, they should use other professors recommended by them for things like dis. This thing is no brainer, the No of accredited voters, should agree with the total number of votes cast plus voided or rejected votes. Agreed, we can have a margin of error cos it might not be perfect, but the error margin should not be more than 5, max 10.

This has always been his problem, he talks too much & does absolutely nothing.

Story, I knew it. Northerners are not that smart but Britain is the brain behind all this.

I told a Friend last two weeks that Atiku will lose this Election and will regain his mandate after 3 years and will be president for four years and will context again for another four years. Oga Atiku,please stop deceiving your followers for this has already been structured by you guys since 2014.

The north will rule again for another eighth years and they are deceiving us with Atiku and Buhari issue. There will be no Election in Nigeria in 2023. Atiku will become the President of Nigeria in 2022 and will complete his first tenure which will end in 2026 before another Election in Nigeria.

Please can we know the cause of this? I know ppl wail, but this one is legendary.

All I know is that the Northerners have a way of dragging us back. Now we say E-Voting, but what is d major challenge, "People from the North", u see d problem.

Just that we need each other, lets find a way to manage ourselves. I even see some Hausa's in Lagos already looking like Yoruba's, until one spoke I never knew he was Hausa. I think he was probably born in Lagos.

U have a point Op. But the criteria of having 25% of votes in 24 states plus FCT already took care of ur suggestn. Both of dem met dat criteria, so the other criteria is now the total number of votes. By saying you should have 25% of votes in 24 states plus FCT, it means having 25% of votes in a state means u have won that state. Therefore, number of states also counts in winning.

The thing I could look @ is, perhaps 25% is too small considering our growing population, maybe they can increase the percentage.

Morning Everyone & Congratulations to the winner, President Muhammed Buhari. However, I am more concerned about this "Rejected Votes", please how can we stop this.

I know the stress I went through trying to get my polling unit, den after voting it turns out my vote gets rejected, this is sad & disheartening. I think instead of pushing online voting, we should tackle that first. We should suggest ways to stop this, votes should never be rejected.

I think the number of political parties should be reduced, this way we will not need to fold the results and the issue of the ink staining another party wont arise. These laws were made by us, the laws did not make us, if they are not convenient, we can change it.

Please let us proffer more suggestions. I believe we can start the change from here. People are neglecting this, but it is the most grievous of all.

Nigerians need to be getting smarter with elections. I have observed since 2011 elections, violence or not, irregularites or not, these INEC officials will count what they see & just declare the winner. Even if it is one person's vote dat is valid, dey will count it & announce d person as d winner.

In d long run, violence or disrupting the process pays no one & winning is a function of numbers.

Congratulations President Muhammed Buhari! May God give u more wisdom 2 rule dis great natn! May dis ur 2nd term bring abt good tidings 4 Nigeria. I thank God 4 making me a part of dis great success. May u continue 2 take dis natn 2 d part of greatness.

I've been very silent and indifferent about this election because I already foresaw the outcome. I live in the north, so I laughed when I saw that people thought Atiku would win. Reasons being;

1. The average northern illiterate believe Buhari is Mr. Integrity, a saint. The only incorrupt leader and Atiku is corrupt. They believe other corrupt people around Buhari are the ones spoiling his government. So he should still be given another chance to rid Nigeria of corruption. Funny.

2. Atiku's running mate is an Igbo man. They'd rather starve to death and continue to live in poverty under Buhari than have an Igbo man in aso rock who they believe are part of the people spoiling Buhari's leadership with their Biafra agitation. So Atiku is seen as a desperate betrayer for daring to contest with an 'infidel' by his side.

So I'm not surprised at all at the outcome of the northern results. They're the ones with the highest percentage of poverty but they'd rather remain there with what they believe is a true son (Buhari) than a backstabber (Atiku)

I'm not a fan of either of them, I wish there had been a third stronger candidate but it's the way it is. Another four years of Bubu. All well and good, then we'll say goodbye to the north till like 2031, I pray.

Sincerely, I looked back @ reasons why Buhari is so loved by His people, despite not having money like His fellow counterparts and I discovered that Uprightness & Integrity was what He stood by.

You will see how He will be honoured when He leaves this world. Integrity is everything, we should learn to live a life of integrity. Like Joseph in the Bible, it will take you to places you never imagined in your life.
