otabuko: This is totally wrong. Those yet to go for interview, be confident and let them know that you're in tune with current happenings. Saying you're on social media won't in anyway dent your chances. Also, be confident in your abilities, even if you they ask you something you can't, convincingly tell them you can. For dressing, guys you don't need a tie. Smart shirt, trouser(chinos or plain) and good shoes and belt will do. Gheritage, really sorry to see you got a regret mail. Please do reapply. 1 Like |

With the many rules of this modern generation, I wonder if i'd have ever been born if my dad had followed such rules. Based on this thread by Vinshu - Any Guy Who Doesn't Have A House And A Car Should Not Get Married Or Even Date! https://www.nairaland.com/3000453/guy-doesnt-house-car-should And this counter thread by Tosyne2much - My Advice: A Lady With Intangible Source Of Income Should Not Date Or Marry https://www.nairaland.com/3001132/advice-lady-intangible-source-income I think it is important we squash this argument once and all. So dear romancelanders, when is the right/best time to date or marry? The question applies to both guys and ladies alike. 2 Likes 1 Share |

This theory though... It seems the lives of Nigerians don't matter anymore on the altar of politics. What type of death have we not seen in this rerun elections, yet instead of a general condemnation of the act, "future leaders of tomorrow" are taking sides with people that have looted their commonwealth. Soldiers were killed in preparation to this elections, and what did both party do? - they traded blames on human lives. Anyway, we are not ready yet. We will continue to bask in under-development and mediocrity until we are ready. 1 Like |

modik, Nigeria is not sorry. You seem not to understand political dynamics as it relates to my statement of Nigeria being a culmination of selfish interests. I am done with this rigmarole of a discourse. Happy Sunday! |
Politics / Re: Lagosians Groan Over Darkness And Fuel Scarcity by Dahveydson(m): 9:28am On Mar 20, 2016 |
modik: Political correctness is not my forte. Nigeria is a culmination of selfish interests, unless you choose to ignore or deny it. Remember the fuel subsidy era? Was the protest general? When the chibok girls were kidnapped? Was the protest general? Let's stop deceiving ourselves please. It's nine months into a new administration without any budget and you've already concluded that they are failing without taking into cognisance prevailing world economic reality. |

modik: In Nigeria everybody is immune to prevailing realities as long as they are shielded. Are you in tune with the harsh realities of the residents of Borno? Are you in tune with the realities of those living in IDP camps? Are you in tune with the realities of indigenes being dislodged from their homes in benue? Let's stop lying to ourselves. I am not groaning, I have light, I have fuel, I have not been affected by your so called "realities of general economic turn down" - and if I eventually do, i'll jump on the bus seeking solutions than on the complaining bus. |

Where were these groans accumulated and reported? Since IKEDC staff called of their strike, we've been having light in my area, and there's light as i'm typing this. As for the Fuel scarcity, that too have ended in my area. The only problem is the price of fuel which is being sold at N110/ltr at filling stations. It was initiall at N150 but has been dropping lately. 1 Like |
