It's such a pity that this thread has been derailed by different people with different motives. 1. We are not scammers. We have not asked anyone for any payments or used any writing from the trialists. We gave a timeline for payment and we have started paying out already. If we haven't collected any payments from anyone, what is the scam? What scammer company trains writers and doesn't ask them for any payments and still pays people that failed the recruitment process? It is fine to feel apprehensive about what you do not understand but irresponsible to throw unfounded allegations. 2. The calculations about what we pay are unfortunate. It is easy to calculate how much an experienced writer can possibly make working on Freelancer and Fiverr. We are giving inexperienced hands an opportunity to become experienced. We can't start paying thousands to people who have never written a post used anywhere before from the beginning, people that can't differentiate between a landing page and a guest post. If people cared to read posts from this handle before now, some of the confusion would have been cleared. If you feel you can't work for the amount quoted, ignore it. Posting hypothetical figures will not help anyone. 3. We do not have plans of using your data for anything. Allegations of hacks and the likes are baseless. In summary, please ignore this thread if it is not for you. We have over a dozen Nigerians working for us, some since 2012. We have had over 1500 applications today alone from this thread. Clearly, not everyone thinks we are scammers! Thanks to everyone that has helped to spread the word including the moderators. We are always here to respond to genuine issues. |
zenmaster:We have given you a timeline. That is the best we can do. Baseless allegations of scam are unfortunate. A company that didn't ask you for any fees, trained you to give you a chance at passing the trial stage and hasn't used pieces you wrote in the trial period anywhere cannot be accused of scamming you. There is literally nothing else we stand to gain. If you find pieces you wrote in use anywhere and you haven't been paid after the 30 day period, you can start the complaints. This is a last response on this issue as we process contracts for the people that we have selected from this batch. |
Appelmoik:We are here for the long haul.. Nothing to worry about. |
Appelmoik:No it is not. We have organised countless trials for dozens of people in the past and there has been no case where we didn't pay people that COMPLETED the trial process. We have been working hard to finalise the recruitment process for deserving candidates. Things are in stages with us. It says a lot that people are already more impatient about getting their stipend than finding out if they did well in the trial. We are under legal obligation in the UK to honour terms within 30 days. People complaining about payments barely finished trials days ago. We haven't completed the grading process even! If you are due to be paid (those that actually did the trial and finished it), you will be paid in the coming weeks and definitely before the 30 days window expires. |
slimtee101: AlexisM16: Antego2010:Like we mentioned at the start of this thread, this is not for everyone (like most positions including teaching, banking etc.). This remote-writer role is strange to many people so it is normal if some find it stressful. It takes resilience for anyone that has done little or no web writing in the past to get in the groove and become a regular 3000+ words-per day-writer. There were some that couldn't cope and dropped off after a while (some dropped by the company). However, there are many that have gone on to become proficient at it, happy with their pay (and even got raises). In the Nigerian content writing niche, we offer some of the most competitive rates and we are continually improving. We don't work people "to death" because every qualified writer gets a contract that they review and accept before resuming with us. How is it "working to death" when you already know how much work you are to do each day/month? We don't force overtimes, we don't change the contract. In our experience, people that treat this role as a full-time job with seriousness and dedication tend to do well. Those that see it as a temporary gig or a way to make some quick money on the side, end up failing. We are not looking for people that think the role is too stressful. |
Cokwologu:You will get the invite if you are qualified. Don't worry. |
We are assessing the next batch of candidates now. The next invite email will be over in the next couple of days. It is a rolling recruitment process where we will be taking multiple intakes of new writers. |
kayvinci:You will see tasks as soon as the training is done. |
We are glad to announce that today is the start of trials for July, with 37 new candidates. Good luck to them. ..The pre-recruitment test is still open to new candidates for the next batch of trials. |
BlackAfrican:Again, you are quoting rates that do not apply for the average new writer. A new starter on iWriter will get significantly lower than $5 per article and there is a higher chance of their accounts getting blocked than them progressing to the Elite writer stage. There is no training or chance for improvement like we offer. We have writers earning 280K-350K+ in Nigeria. Some of them have worked for us since 2012. The salary here is for starters. If you are good enough, we don't have any problems with paying you higher rates. We have done our research and we believe we have some of the fairest offers for Nigerians. This is a last response on this issue. Please ignore the thread if it you feel our rates do not apply to you to avoid derailing it. |
BlackAfrican:Your calculations do not take into consideration the fact that you will have downtimes as a freelancer on Fiverr. You have to find enough clients to give you 3500 words worth of work to do daily, EVERY MONTH, with your calculation. We are paying N100,000 to good starters that are inexperienced and they grow to 200K in a short time if they improve without doing the legwork of fighting for clients and getting guaranteed work every day. We have talented writers and we are doing great with attracting more. Thank you. |
@Johs001, you have nothing to worry about. We will review what you have done. |
goldenbaee:If you were contacted then you have nothing to worry about. |
@Johnzzy The test is divided into different stages (grammar, written and speed) and you will be prompted to go to the next one. Emails will be sent to notify you about the completion of every stage. If you are on mobile, there might be difficulties with the prompts. Log in to your account and check to be sure you have completed all stages. |
Annydan:You can log out and do the test a second time but please make sure you have a stable connection this time around. Like we mentioned yesterday, candidates have a second chance when such issues occur. |
PLEASE NOTE Dailyposts UK will not ask you to pay any fees. We will not ask you to travel to any location. We will not ask you to pay for any training. Simply take the test, take part in the trials and show us that you deserve a permanent employment contract. Nothing more. |
viviansteph:You can complete the speed test right now but it doesn't change your participation in the paid trial as long as you have confirmed your position. |
iboboyswag:We have not claimed affiliations with any other company anywhere. Our website is not a correct version of any other. It is a standalone. The paid trial doesn't mean we are asking candidates to pay any fees. Candidates take part in a trial work period and are paid BY THE COMPANY at the end. |
Yuji:If you did not receive a response then I'm afraid your written trial was not up to standard. We have been recruiting for the last 3-4 years in Nigeria through various job boards. We have recruited numerous people over that time. |
Please check your email regularly, including the SPAM folder for your paid trial invite after sailing through the pre-recruitment test process. We will get in touch and send the invite within two weeks if your written test was deemed good enough. Respond to the email as fast as you can to confirm your position. |
ayommy12:No you do not need a website. We have created another form to simplify the registration process even further.. Please click here to register http://www.dailyposts.co.uk/register/ The first post has been updated with this new link but all past test completions remain valid. |
Difficulties with completing the test can be avoided by using a computer instead of a mobile device and ensuring a stable internet service. However, we have now increased the test limit to 2 in case you get frozen for any reason before you were able to complete the test. If you properly completed the test, check your email (Whitelist the address if it goes to spam), for confirmation. If for any reasons the email didn't come, don't worry. We can see those that passed the test and will reach out to everyone. We have already invited many candidates to paid trials that will hold from next week. Share this opportunity with as many of your QUALIFIED friends as possible. |
bashit:If you submitted the post, you should get an email. Please check spam folder as well. |
carmelion:Yes.. All our Nigerian writers are paid directly to their Naira bank accounts. |
If you have any questions about the company, please ask here and we will respond as quickly as possible. |
