Time of the day also matters. Buy your fuel early in the day before the sun heats up the tanks underground. Hot fuel is more volatile, so you might be buying half-liquid half-vapour. This indirectly translates to buying from filling stations with wider shelters above as they shade the ground from heat. Avoid buying from filling stations in waterlogged areas as the surety of the waterproofing of their tanks cannot be ascertained. 2 Likes |
