A couple caused a scene during their church wedding after they decided to do the unusual. The young couple, Augustine Adams and Beatrice Bruwatte amazed the audience at the ceremony when they decided to receive their wedding rings at the altar via a "drone delivery service".

The wedding happened on Sunday at the Lion of Judah Cathedral of the Lighthouse Chapel International in Cape Coast, Ghana.

The creative couple had their rings flown over from the back of the auditorium, over the heads of the congregation to the front where the best man picked it up and presented it to the couple.

The congregants obviously ‘wowed’ by the move cheered and clapped along as the drone was piloted to the front.

It was alleged that senator Uche Ekwunife was disgraced out of the Eze Ukpo’s palace by billionaire Aurthur Eze at an event in Anambra state over the weekend. The former lawmaker has reacted to the allegation through her media aide.

The attention of Senator Uche Ekwunife Campaign Organization has been drawn to an article written by Victor Umeh and published with the name of one “Charles Ifeanyi Obi”, Umeh’s media aide. In the article, Victor Umeh claimed that Senator Ekwunife was “disgraced out of Eze Ukpo’s palace” yesterday by Engr. Arthur Eze, during the Ofala celebration of Igwe Dr. Robert Eze. To deceive the unsuspecting public, Victor Umeh attached to this article, a photograph showing men of the Nigeria Police Force in an altercation with someone whom Victor Umeh represented to be Senator Uche Ekwunife.

This publication by Victor Umeh is not only a lie, but also wicked. It is really embarrassing and reprehensible that Victor Umeh would continue to stoop this low in his attempt to score cheap political points against Senator Ekwunife by relentlessly unleashing falsehoods. This do-or-die political style of Victor Umeh is really nauseating. Especially coming from a man who regularly occupies the front pews of churches and cathedrals and would be the first to remind you he is a papal knight. Have we sacrificed decency and chivalry on the altar of political iberiberism?

Frankly, It is actually disgusting how Victor keeps churning out these lies and personal attacks against Senator Ekwunife. All in the guise of running a win-by-all-means Campaign. And How unrepentant he is about this recalcitrance. Look at this recent one. A lie from the pit of Hell! Thank God, there are pictures. And we have provided them for your visual edification. And pictures tell a thousand words.

Senator Uche Ekwunife was very warmly welcomed and received by Igwe Dr. Robert Eze, Eze Ukpo and the good people of Ukpo and Dunukofia communities. Both the Royal Father, and Chief (Engr) Arthur Eze were very gracious and pleasant in hosting their invited Guest, Senator Uche Ekwunife. In fact, Chief Arthur Eze, Ozoigbondu, personally invited Senator Ekwunife his home and to accompany him to the Royal Father’s palace for the Ofala protocols. It was the distinguished Senator’s pleasure to be a guest at that event. Several Royal Fathers and dignitaries were showering blessings on her. And blessing her Senatorial aspiration. In return, she truly thanked and appreciated all of them, and prayed for God to grant many more healthy and fruitful years on their respective thrones.

It was therefore disappointing to read Victor Umeh’s totally false and deceptive narration of event. While most people may have been tempted to respond in kind to Victor Umeh’s dirty politics, Senator Uche Ekwunife intends to remain focused on issues-driven campaign, rather than getting into these pettiness and falsehoods that have come to define Victor Umeh’s political ideology. This is quite laughable. And very un-Senatorial.

The political killings appeared to have started again in Rivers state ahead of the 2019 election. About four members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) were brutally murdered yesterday in Rivers state.

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ward 7-Onne, Eleme Local government area of Rivers State, Jonah Chu has was shot dead. 

He was killed alongside three APC youth leaders and members in Abua/Odual Local Government Area of Rivers. 

Jonah Chu was assassinated on arrival in his home after attending a function on Sunday.

A man has been killed by unknown assailants after returning home few days ago from Brazil.

The deceased identified as Ndubuisi who hails from Anambra state, has reportedly been in Brazil for a long time and decided to come back home to celebrate the Yuletide in his hometown where he met his untimely end.

According to multiple unverified reports online, the deceased might have been killed following an alleged drug deal gone wrong as it has been claimed that he dupes people from drug deals.

His SUV was abandoned on the road by his killers, suggesting that it was not a case of robbery. 

His corpse has been deposited at the mortuary.

For some days now, a sex tape has been making the rounds online after being linked to Wajir woman representative in Kenya, Fatuma Gedi.

Last week a video emerged of the legislator allegedly engaging in bedroom activities. The video was circulated on social media platforms.

The legislator who has denied that she's not the person in the leaked sex tape, claims it was faked/photshopped and was politically instigated to paint her to be of a low moral repute.

Other women leaders and Kenyan citizens have shown their support for the female politician - saying that she should not let the opinion of other people define her and that she should stand strong.

Fatuma Gedi has finally broken her silence as she took to Twitter to thank her supporters for standing with her during that trying time in her life.  She thanked the supporters for the messages of encouragement which continued to flood her post.

The randy sex video has since received widespread condemnation across the country, with more female politicians distancing Wajir's Fatuma Gedi from the said clip.

A young man identified as Jeremy James is trending on social media after flying his first flight as an Airline Pilot on Friday, December 21, with his parents on board.

According to Jeremy who had the pleasure of flying his parents for the first time, his dad never wanted to fly with him until he flew a jet.

The first thing his dad said to him once they got out of the plane was “my back hurts”. According to him, they didn’t even land that hard. Jeremy flies the Embraer for Republic Airways.

The excited pilot took to Twitter to share pictures of his parents and wrote; Flew my first flight as an Airline Pilot today! I also had the pleasure of flying my parents for the first time, My dad never wanted to fly with me until I flew a jet and the first thing he says to me once I get out the plane is “my back hurts” we didn’t even land that hard.

A man was shot dead by yet-to-be identified gunmen who reportedly attacked him in broad daylight.

According to Facebook user Emeka Darlington who didn't give the exact location of the brutal murder, the deceased was allegedly accosted by the gunmen who opened fire on him after a brief scuffle.

The deceased was said to have collapsed after being shot and was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

Report has it that his corpse has been deposited in a morgue.

A 26-year-old Nigerian who tried to evade the authorities and allegedly injured officials at Porta Nuova, Italy, has been arrested.

It was gathered that the incident happened this morning, at the Torino Porta Nuova underground station when staff/operators of the State Police engaged in the usual checks at the Metro stops.

The officials reportedly suspected the Nigerian and decided to check out his identification and papers. At the request of the documents, the man allegedly opposed and launched a violent resistance against the officials.

A patrol team arrived to aid the first operators, who were struggling with the Nigerian man at the underground station. 

It was reported that during the arrest, an operator was allegedly bitten in the leg and other another, wounded.

The Nigerian man was later taken into police custody for resisting arrest and causing injury to officers.

A Nigerian man identified as Ben Ephraim had to scream for his life while resisting an arrest by police officers recently in South Africa. 

According to the young man, the police officers decided to arrest him over his papers after noticing he's a foreigner in the country. 

Ben who claimed to have his complete Home Affairs papers, had to lay on the ground and scream as the officers tried to force the arrest. 

Other Nigerians there watched helplessly while the drama was going on before the young man was finally freed.

There was a mild drama at a burial yesterday in Imo state after a dance comedian reportedly drank four bottles of beer and decided to take his performance to a higher level (literally).

According to Ifeanyi Onyenankeya, the dance comedian who apparently got drunk at the funeral event in Okigwe area in the state, climbed a Palm tree to show his prowess but couldn't complete the quest.

It was gathered that on reaching the middle of the palm tree, the performer began experiencing cold feet and reportedly started to cry - as people ran around to 'rescue' him and find a way to bring him down.

It was scooped that some people at the event looked for mattress to help him in soft landing before a ladder was brought to his aid.

A man was allegedly shot dead by vigilante members and secretly buried in Delta state.

According to reports, the deceased identified as Boss Destiny was said to have been returning from a night club in Sapele area in the state, where he had an issue with some persons before he met his untimely death. 

It was gathered that the issue was settled by some soldiers and the deceased was on his way home when he was allegedly shot in the chest by some vigilante members in his street. 

Reports have it that the security operatives secretly buried the corpse that night to avoid being traced. 

A friend of the deceased who was with him that night, reported the matter to his (deceased) family before heading to the police station.

The policemen immediately swung into action and exhumed the corpse of the deceased where it was buried. Some vigilante members were also arrested in the process.

A serious fight broke out between a young man and lady during their meeting yesterday in Lagos.

It was gathered that the clash between the Facebook users occurred following a brawl which started on the social media platform as it is claimed that there's has been bad blood between the two. 

According to reports, the fight started online when the lady identified as Kiki allegedly made a post threatening to beat up the young man named Cammy, when she meets him in their Facebook group's hangout in Lagos. 

The duo finally met at the hangout on Wednesday (yesterday) and exchanged words for some time before engaging in a serious fight. 

The slay king and the slay queen fought themselves to the extent they tore their clothes in public. 

While the fight was going on, other members of the group did nothing to stop them but even filmed the disgraceful scene which has gone viral on social media.

President Muhammadu Buhari, today, presented the 2019 budget during a joint session of the National Assembly. While he was presenting the budget, he was booed by some Lawmakers.

The lawmakers, believed to be those of the Peoples Democratic Party,  booed him as he explained the various achievements in the country. They chorused ‘No!’ at each mention of an achievement.

It was gathered that some All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmakers and their Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) counterparts exchanged blows during the presentation of the 2019 by President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday.

Trouble started after some APC lawmakers seized the placards which some of their PDP colleagues planned to use in protesting against the president.

When President Buhari said, “We have weathered the storms and made progress on every front,” and that “The economy has recovered well,‎” the PDP lawmakers thundered,  “Nooooo! and Boooo!”

Some of the lawmakers came to the plenary with placards bearing inscription “Freedom cometh by struggle”.

The Christmas season is here again with many people doubling their hustle to celebrate the festive period in style. A man in suit was nabbed after stealing some items in a boutique recently.

It was gathered that the man was spotted by one of the staff in the boutique while hiding the stolen items in his cloth after pretending to be shopping in the place. 

Perfumes, creams and other items were well concealed in his shirt and suit as he was forced to bring them out after being caught.

Facebook user Ella Sandra who shared the video of the man being humiliated - didn't reveal where it happened.

The man was later thrown out of the boutique, according to reports.
