Following the violent clash at the All Progressives Congress (APC’s) governorship flag off Campaign on Tuesday, 8th January 2019, the national leadership of Road Transport Workers Union has suspended one of the union’s factional leaders in Lagos, Azeez Lawal, popularly called Kunle Poly.

According to TVC News,  the union also resolved to set up a committee that will investigate the immediate and remote causes of the recent disruption of the All Progressives’ Congress rally in Lagos.

Kunle Poly is allegedly responsible for last week’s disruption of the rally by the APC in Ikeja and the stabbing of Musiliu Akinsanya, known famously as MC Oluomo.

NURTW President, Najeem Yasin, announced the suspension of the union official after a five-hour meeting with the Lagos state Executive and elders of the union.

The union says it is apolitical and enjoins political parties not to use its members as weapons of destruction, particularly as elections draw near.

A policeman has been hailed after doing an unexpected thing inside a bus few days ago. The officer took his time to preach in the bus - leaving other passengers shocked due to how the police are seen in Nigeria.

The policeman urged the passengers to repent and turn from their evil ways as he prayed for them.

Damilola Osinubi-Dahunsi who lives in Abuja shared footage of the officer in action. 

Facebook users who were also surprised by the viral videos of the policeman preaching, took to the platform to praise him, with some saying he should be the kind of person leading the "corrupt" Nigerian police force.

Some time ago, a policeman decided to visit the popular Alaba international market in Lagos, to preach to the traders. 

The man did not seem to mind passersby as he did what he came to do, armed with his Bible and a gramophone.

Pandemonium broke out at a carnival as three ladies descended upon a colleague and beat her mercilessly. 

The reason for the public attack was not given but report has it that the ladies confronted their colleague and allegedly slapped her after they insulted themselves before the fight broke out.

Despite being being by three women, the other lady still fought back till the security men/bouncers at the carnival intervened.

The fighting ladies were separated and taken away by the bouncers who struggled to contain the clash.

Facebook user James who shared the footage didn't give the location where the brawl happened.

Following the violent clash at the All Progressives Congress (APC’s) governorship flag off Campaign on Tuesday, 8th January 2019, a footage has emerged showing the moment Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya a.k.a MC Oluomo, Idumota Azeez Lawal (a.k.a Kunle Poly) and other National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) chieftains met at an event in Lagos sometime ago ( months before the clash).

The NURTW executives stormed the event in style while surrounded by security operatives consisting of soldiers, police and OPC members. 

The men were hailed and were given special recognition at the public event. 

MC Oluomo was left badly wounded after he was stabbed in the neck by members of a rival gang at the flag-off of the party’s gubernatorial candidate’s campaign in Ikeja. One NURTW member was killed in the process and others injured. 

Rumour has it that the clash was between the gang of MC Oluomo and that of a rival identified as Kunle Poly.

The Lagos State Police Command declared Mustapha Adekunle aka Sego wanted for “attempting to disrupt the APC rally”.  But Adekunle described the police action as a “frame-up.”

It was claimed by some NURTW members that Sego was not at the place where union’s state Treasurer Musiliu Akinsanya (aka MC Oluomo) was stabbed.

According to them, MC Oluomo was stabbed in the presence of Agbede Tajudeen, NURTW chairman in Idumota Azeez Lawal (aka Kunle Poly) and others.

The operatives of the Lagos State Task Force has reiterated again that the latest rumour about the death of Mr. Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya (aka MC OLU-OMO) circulating round the state particularly on social media is not TRUE.

It was a black Saturday at Ogbunabali community in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state capital following the gruesome murder of a man.

It was gathered that the gunmen attacked the deceased simply identified as Sammy at a drinking joint and shot him dead at close range which led to his instant death.

The attackers were said to have fled after gunning down the victim while leaving him in the pool of his blood.

The reason for the brutal murder is yet to be determined as at the time of filing this report. The incident has caused panic among residents in the area.

Kudos to Nigerian troops who have laid down their lives for the country in fighting against criminality and terrorism. 

An army scholar was filmed preaching extensively about Islam to other soldiers who are currently fighting the Boko Haram insurgents in the northern part of the country. 

The soldier who taught his colleagues with two AK-47 rifles by his side, urged them to make use of their time here on earth in order to enter paradise. 

Internet users have also hailed the scholar for his teachings and also prayed for safety of the troops.

Residents were left shocked after popular priestess denounced her fetish practice in Enugu state.

The priestess of Inyama Ogbanje in Amalla-Egazi, Udenu local government area, renounced her Vodoo/'Juju' and reportedly repented of all her evil ways. 

According to reports, the priestess who got converted on Friday, January 11 (yesterday) and accepted Jesus Christ, cleared all the charms in her shrine. A bus load of charms/juju was removed from her house.

The residents couldn't believe what they saw due to the large number of fetish items that she had.

Some Nigerians decided to take the bull by the horns as they confronted their employer who has been owing them for months now in Italy. 

According to them, their boss simply identified as Stefano, has been owing them since November last year and has refused to pay up while feeding them with excuses.

One of the Nigerian men who stormed the office, said he doesn't want to fight and that all he needs is his money.

The Nigerians also accused their employer of scamming black workers by using them and not paying their wages despite people saying that Nigerians don't work in Italy.

The boss who was with his son in the office - was left embarrassed by the drama as he left his office to reason and dialogue with the Nigerians.

A petrol tanker explosion which happened today along the Calabar-Odukpani Highway in Odukpani local government area of Cross River State, has left many dead, according to reports..

It was gathered the petrol tanker fell while trying to negotiate the bend with residents rushing to the scene to scoop petrol.

Eyewitnesses reported the clamour for petrol resulted into a spark as some of the residents used metal containers to scoop the product.

This led to an explosion which killed several people at once.

At the scene, the police tried to contain the situation as the fire raged.

A majority of the victims sustained third degree injuries and are currently at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital.

The beautiful and well-endowed lady was pictured at a shop while selling fish at the market, according to a Facebook user who posted the images and didn't give the exact location where he saw her. 

Netizens who have been intrigued by the slay queen - are wondering what prompted her to land in the market, with all her "assets" and beauty. 

Some online users also expressed doubts as to whether the lady is really a fish seller.

Imo state is in the news again over the requirements which a groom recently presented to his bride's family for their marriage introduction.

According to MC Emmydon, an eyewitness who was shocked by what he saw, his friend (the groom) bought various sets of wrapper, bags of rice, drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic among others things which he gave his partner's family for their wedding introduction on Sunday, January 6th. 

He also revealed that these were required from the groom aside the bride price which was later paid to the lady's family.

The report has sparked mixed reactions from Nigerian internet users, with some lamenting over the "large" requirements.

Fresh report has it that a train derailed early this morning, near Mangoro bus stop, Agege area in Lagos, with the number of casualties yet to be ascertained. 

The tragic incident which caused panic among road users, has caused a huge scene in the area. 

Emergency officials are said to have arrived the scene of the accident.  

Some time ago, several persons were reportedly killed at Abbatoir area of Agege after a train derailed.

The train also rammed into a Trailer, injuring many and leaving unconfirmed number of victims dead.
