ComeToJesus: I'm totally in support of NAFDAC. If possible, the markets should never be opened again.
Igbo people don't mind exterminating everyone in this country just to make money. I commend the DG of NAFDAC for her ruggedness and steadfastness.
137 40-foot containers of illicit drugs evacuated from one market alone calls for a state of emergency to be declared there. That sector needs massive clean up Hoe can you revalidate expired products by relabelling them just because you want to make money? Such should attract capital punishment. It's heinous, atrocious and a crime against humanity. You are a just a victim of NAFDAC media propaganda overdose. The billions they are supposed to use in chasing after fake drug kingpins, they spend it on the media to brainwash you while pontifying themselves as saints. Have you tried registering a medical product in this country? Have you visited their office to see the level of corruption going on their in the guise of bureaucracy and process? Have you encountered their 'consultants' a.k.a middle men who will swindle you as you end up paying N11 million while only N4 million is captured on Remita for registration? You are just an armchair critic with little information. Ask VDM.. |

Kewekubosineh: The Professor wants to cash out. She's retiring and looking for retirement benefits.
The traders must take up this injustice. She couldn't have closed their shops and made them to pay N700k if it were her kinsmen. Closing shops and people's means of livelihood for Three months is ungodly and wicked. Prosecute offenders and leave out the innocent ones
Professor Adeyeye is on a mission to punish the people. But she can't escape the law of retribution. In fact professor Adeyeye should be arrested for taking N700,000 from fake drug dealers and asking them to go and sin no more. Fake drug dealers are supposed to face a competent court and get jailed Adeyeye is not a Judge and therefore not competent to ask criminals to pay fine and go home. She knows there is no fake drug, because she did not conduct any lab analysis to determine the certification of those drugs as 'Fake'. Most of those drugs e are simply unregistered supplements from UK and USA, which did not enter into Nigeria without NAFDAC taking a fee under the table. She may even possibly have some those supplements in her drugs shelves at home. But she will in public to pontify and blanketly them as 'Fake'. Most of these 'Fake' drugs end up in NAFDAC pharmacists private shops and in their homes. NAFDAC is not a court. She must provide the Fake drugs and the criminals she asked to pay fine. |

FreeStuffsNG: Smh. The alternative to demanding they refund taxpayers funds used to establish scientific analysis proofs and pay standard fines is for them to be jailed and barred for life. This is a middle ground and political consideration by NAFDAC,.
If PCN and PSN actually want to do the right thing, they should insist on prosecution of the alleged criminals and permanent sealing of the crime scene.
They already did the tests! The results should actually be used for prosecution in court! Does the NAFDAC law provide for 'investigative charges'? Is it constitutional? How can you tell a suspect or offender to bring money with which you would investigate him? What is Prof Adeyeye doing with all the emoluments budgeted for NAFDAC? How is she spending the bogus billions charged to food packagers, drug importers and manufacturers which run into billions. To import one medical product into this country, you must NAFDAC at least 11 million naira, (both documented and undocumented) What is she doing with the funds? These traders that paid N700k investigative charges, why were receipts no issued for the payments? The answer is simple, they wanted to hide the extortion racket. |

No way a southern president would restructure Nigeria without affecting North biggerly. It would look like deliberate marginalization
Only northern president who must have considered the way forward in making north to catch up with others and perhaps the rest of the world can restructure Nigeria. North is vast but just few areas are developed.
Any serious candidate from north contesting in 2031 should make that his campaign slogan, he would receive reasonable votes from.the south So, you don carry the goal post from Iragbiji go put for Sokoto? Kemetian: Why must you import fabrics?
Professional importers.
The people you are importing it from, do they have two heads?
Why don’t you make the fabrics so they can import from you?
All these import duties are there for a reason - to reduce capital flight and encourage local innovation and industry. Have you done any form of production in this country? Do you know that Nigeria is one of the most production-toxic country? A colleague started a small medical reagent factory in this country. It survived for only 4 years. In fact, he started paying levies and taxes the day he put up a signboard. He even tried to keep it running up to 4 years, many manufacturers pack up within months or 2 years. When you add the cost of NAFDAC (with all their opaque bureaucies), diesel power, electricity, salaries, federal taxes, state taxes, local government levies, sign board, waste management, licenses, the unit cost of your product will be so high you will not be able to compete with the imported alternatives. It becomes commonsensical to shut down and join the importers. Most of you are just arm-chair critics who have never lifted a finger to walk the talk of production. Painful truth- Nigeria will continue to be import-dependebt for the next 60 years at least. Profit from the system and keep your money in dollars if you know what is good for you. .... I advised people to keep their money in dollars in 2015 when dollar was N400, we all saw how that panned out. Today the dollar is N1600. Am I not 4 times richer than I was in 2015? I knew Buhari had nothing to offer, just like your present president, and I will profit from it. The megalomaniacs (Buhari and Tinubu) simply want to be presidents, just to answer 'Mr president'. No fresh ideas reside in their thoughts. You vote empty politicians, I study the system and become richer. Head or tails, I win. |

Sir, what is the use of all these checkpoints Lagos to the East, since NONE of them (not one of the 500 checkpoints) could detect and arrest this man?
