The minister and other board members oversee the recruitment that is enlistment of applicants to different services under his watch (CDFIPB). The training and posting of the officers is strictly overseen by the controller of each service. So if the minister approve the list before his exit the camping and other things go on with or without ministers cos funds must have be allocated.

One tin I noticed...SSC officers will like to glorify dem self in front of u civilains....but when u stay wit dem properly....u will see the difference between both RC and SSC.

SSC officers are called fatigue officers.

NOTE: not DAT the RC captain will disrespect the SSC major wen it comes to the job.....but the fact DAT an officer is RC....he has 100% benefit over SSC....except the SSC convert...

I stay wit dem everyday....I ask questions as regards to hierarchy.... RC lieutenant colonel(a commander) can't rubbish a captain of RC all bcoz of a SSC major....

Even wen it comes to appointment....the SSC major can't be given 2ic.... Army prefer given the RC captain 2ic.....and I ask...it's bcozz....the RC captain is bin trained for future purpose...why the SSC major can be retired from the service anytime.

From what you just said, it seems there is no document to that effect. But the guy said there is a document that says an SSC cannot command an RC. It is a case of disrespect which is bad. Because after conversion, a formerly SSC officer now RC can become COAS. And when this happens, how do you think he will treat RC guys in relation to SSC. Just trying to apply logic.

Let me explain beta....SSC officer DAT is a major can order a captain DAT is RC....but if the RC refuses... Nottin will happen....bcoz the SSC major will report the issue to RC lieutenant colonel....and RC respects RC....RC can not purnish anoda RC for a SSC officer.

Its beta for the SSC major not to even say anytin...bcoz....DAT RC captain can retire him leta in life....as in...wen the SSC is still a major or lieutenant colonel....the RC captain mite HV bin given a beta appointment or even a senior to the SSC major.

Yes...dey giv politicians slots....but some sturborn DG of few agencies like NAFDAC...NCC..TETFUND and few other agencies don't honour politicians slots....

No implications bcozz diz DG's I mention were nominated by buhari himself...so nottin any house committee or Senate committee can do....eg...custom CG....he refuses all recommendation brought to his table by influential politicians...and nottin dey can do.

Some source don't have power over final list but can influence it if their candidates got screened at the selection stage.
