Ask you stock broker or fund custodian to give you a letter for the ECO. This will cost between N2000-N3000. The letter will basically give a valuation of the stocks. Then write a cover letter to the ECO and explain that you intend to fund the trip from the potential sale of your stocks. If you want to sale the stocks now, you will still need a letter from your stock broker to satisfy the ECO that the fund came from sale of your stocks

My partner decided to deposit 500k in my account for ticket without my knowledge although it was stated as for ticket fee, Hope it would not be seen as lodgement as am thinking of cancelling the whole process.. can I state him as part sponsor , but will doing so involve me bring his statement of account? On grounds that I do not attach his statement can I be denied because he is not ready to part with his statement.. ibo men always hiding their money

Hello dammy2good. The US non-immigrant visa process is centered around the interview rather than documents. On occasion when one parent is traveling with children, we will request to see proof of consent from the other parent. This is to protect against trafficking and abuse of parental rights. We do not recommend that you buy tickets or make reservations before you have the visa in hand. Having paid for Disney tickets will not impact the visa decision at all. When you mention strong family ties, we generally mean ties to Nigeria or wherever is the applicant's home country.

i am in the process of applying for a visa but with all read here am not so sure if now is the right time, basically i earn 230k monthly but my take home is 60k and that's because i save in three different cooperatives which is detailed in my payslip. i have a money fund/ share which is worth over 3 million naira and i have a small side business which i earn 30k or less from, the money from this business will not reflect in my account cos i just reinvest back in it.i intended taking part of the money fund to sponsor the trip with my kids and my self, my husband is not travelling with me

My balance usually shows a balance of 100k or less as i use it mainly for salary and other expenses, how do i prove i can pay for my trip and the kids as someone here said he was denied even though he showed his share certifivate. and on the other hand if i process the money from the stock that also seems like money lumping, how do i go about it.

Any advise? i want to know possible solutions, this is mainly for my kids as i do not want to raise their hopes that they are going to Disney world and then have it dashed. PS never travelled before except Ghana which does not count

I plan on taking my kids for holidays between August and September precisely to Disneyworld Florida.
What documents do I need to backup my application form.
I have not travelled before except to Ghana and that was for business. Currently we have Dubai visa but was told Dubai will be hot at that time anf uncomfortable for kids.
Do I need to pay for the entry ticket to disney land as evidence to backup our travelling Or it's not necessary. Basically I need any information that will help as I don't want to increase the kids expectations and then be let down.
Also what do you mean by strong family ties as I do not have any family member there.
I will be sponsoring the trip not my husband will that affect our chances .
I earn less than 300k but have a side business which can pay for the trip although my account may not have cash in it as payments just go in and out for business transactions.
