i've got similar prob i am a student of biolog Education in one of the Nigeria uni, but i have an option of changing from Education to the faculty of pure sciences (ie. Department of biological sciences with an option of either botany or zoology) when am resuming for 200level next year. I am thinking of changing department but i would like to know your opinion.

same thing goes with you with d guy offering math edu. Note you will go for 6months teaching practice and education don't defend project you will only write the project. If u wish to swish department no problem , I think doing bio edu is not bad. It gives u more opportunity to acquire knowledge.

I think u should go for math edu if u can cope and note one thing u will do more unit than dose doing B.SC math cos u will ave to write education courses and receive education courses class to separately. At the end u will receive double honour which is B.SC n B.ED in math which means u are qualified to wrk under two field. People will tell u to go for pure math because of teaching attach to pple studying under d faculty of education but i tell u later u can c d organisation that will recognise what u study. Is in nigeria that dey don't recognise pple doing bth science and education courses combine together. #peace bro
