Good afternoon nairalanders , Am on break in school and i have the whole day by me. Getting up from bed this afternoon and the first thing that comes to my mind is getting on NL , I read on a thread about increment of school fees about a particular school but not to stop on that , paying of acceptance fee is a thing which have been discuss on NL , my hostel and also in the public even by parents whether it is right to be collected by the school or not. This time am around, I want to talk about some fees paid in some universities after payment of acceptance fees and school fees like student affairs , matriculation gown , department levy , faculty dew e.t.c {first year students} Even in some universities , the year one students known as freshers pay for GNS test books. Are these fees meant to paid in the universities? Nairalanders , your comments are need. |
I don't like politics and i don't like talking about it. I don't vote , voters card i don't even have. Everything in the country is frustrating. Why do we call the school a government owned ? There suppose to be different in private and government owned. Seriously speaking no government school suppose to be paying 100 thousand and above. |
I wish to be one but i don't like celebrity life |
PLANETMARS:omo o ga o o. Seriously it's annoying. d fee n everything. |
Good morning nairalanders , this non payments of public workers in the country is a thing that baffles me a lot. This time around , it's happening in ogun state at the university of olabisi onabanjo university , a banner posted under this write up has been outside the school gate since yesterday stating no payments of lecturers for 15 good months. This is the more reason i don't want to take a public work in the future. My question now is can a governor work for good 15 months with out getting paid? I really have feelings for the so called lecturers , they are fathers and mothers to a family to. Y'all have a nice day ahead and happy weekend in advance. Still me : dammywapes

Agbero 20 as he lay down switching the lights off. As a precaution I spent the night in the kids room ; better to be safe than sorry. The next afternoon Mrs Bayo came over to see me. Her husband had told her what happened the day before and she popped over for a heart-to-heart girlie chat. We sat in the kitchen talking. “ No man can lay his hands on me”, she was saying matter-of-factly... |
Agbero 19 I think this is what makes him angry and prompts him to lash out. Mr Bayo managed to calm him down and after joining us for dinner and a few drinks he later went home. As soon as our mediator was gone my husband silently headed for the bedroom, slamming the door shut after him. I could, later, hear him mumbling to himself before getting into bed, the springs creaking, as he lay down... |
Agbero 18 If it’s a woman with a university degree he wants he should get one and then we’ll see what his excuse for beating her up will be. But he does work hard. He leaves home early in the morning and doesn’t come back till late at night. Because he has a good degree and education he works in the head office of a bank as an analyst. All the calculations and computations he has to do stress him out... |
Agbero 17 He then launched into a monologue of how he spent ten years in the U.K washing dishes, scrubbing toilets and doing security work so he could earn a coveted first and second degree. “…in my office there are plenty fine women with proper education I can marry…” It’s not the first time he’s said this. Sometimes I wonder why he doesn’t. If it’s a woman with a university degree he wants he should.. |
