Pls guys, engage @damsell in conversation about any recruitment agency at your own risk.

The moniker is cruel. Imagine demanding 200k to give agency name & agency charging another $10k.

I don't know why God created Nigerians to be so cruel & fraudulent, do people think they can take money to their grave?

I intentionally engage him/her to ascertain d claim.

Do we ask ourselves how Indians, Chinese & Philippinos are the dominant people in Canada?

If we continue this attitude of everything money then this generation would remain slaves & enslaved the next generation.

Hi, Can you attach the plan of your project?
I intend venturing into such project. Also, I will advice you consider single slope roof probably the price can go down.
KosoMo:
I presently on the same project around redemption camp and its now at lintel level... I have spent N1,040,000 so far excluding cost of land and about to roof the project.. Mine is a standard mini flat(room and parlour self contain) with visitor's toilet.

Note: From the above cost, I have dug the soak away and still have some materials on site....

The materials still available are;
1. Sharp sand, cements and granite to complete the soak away

2. Plaster and Dagbolu sands for plastering the house

I got an highest estimate of N520,000 for the wood work and aluminium roofing.

So with N2m - N2.2....you are good to go.

All the best.

Hi Twinkleberyl,

Did you get your job with an agency, private individuals or direct care company? Also, I read about you getting few interviews, can u share ur experiences concerning it?
Thanks

Please go to the pilot's website and read carefully...you dont draft the offer letter. Theres a form there (theres a list of up to 6 or so forms there that you need to download from the website and fill on a computer, print and sign).
The offer is made to you using a form called the offer of employment IMM 5893. It contains questions about the employmemt that the government wants to know about..wages, hours a week, live in arrangement, vacation, etc

Your prospective employer might find it difficult to open this form if they dont have the latest adobe program. What i did was to open it on my computer, print it and scanned it to my employer. They filled it out by hand and sent back to me by email. I now entered the information that they sent into the form on my computer, printed, sent the document to them to approve, then they signed the last page and returned it to me for my own signature. That way, they have a copy of the typed Employment offer IMM 5893 for their records and i have a copy to submit along with my application.

I wrote about this on my blog
Even the list of forms is in my blog, though i encourage you to visit the official government site regularly especially if you are ready to submit your application to get the most updated versions of the forms. You need to download on a computer (get the latest version of adobe so that you can open the forms), fill out on your computer, validate (this produces a bar code page that you must include with the forms), print & sign. If u dont sign your forms they will return your application to u.[/quote]

I think getting job from outside canada is the most difficult criteria of the pilot program. If you know agencies that will employ Nigerians, let us know.

Anniebony:
One thing i know about this pilot is that it does not require any proof of fund. It is actually the only immigration work permit pilot with NO PROOF OF FUND.
However, you need the following things:

1) Canadian styled Resume with a Canadian Phone Number
2) LinkedIn account with a professional profile picture
3) Professionally crafted Cover Letter
4) IELTS Exam with at least 5 Band Score (#75k)
5) Qualification assessment with WES(Canada)(#65K)
6) Free Certificate exam in First Aid, CPR and AED(Optional but better). Check out www.firstaidforfree.com

If anybody is interested in Home Support Work Pilot, i can post some job links here for you to apply. Just indicate interest.

I ran a small statistics yesterday on numbers of recover cases against the total infected in most of the worst hit countries. UK fare worst with just 0.3% recovery rate, germany has over 30% while Iran is around 16%, France, USA over 10% and over 20% in Italy. Nigeria over 10% recovery rate. France, Italy, US possible Nigeria are usually chloroquine treatment but I doubt if UK is treating people at all if we compare the figures available 4 now. If anyone is working frontline here, can you explain the treatment regime u are apply for the virus?
dafemnet:
If Chloroquine is helping in other countries, why is the NHS not using it? The number of deaths in the UK is frightening.

You may be right with your assertion but business world in Nigeria is really difficult especially if you are new to it. Business men in those places u mentioned will want to reap u off that you will not even get your investment back except u are very familiar or part of that business in Nigeria. I'm interested in vehicles part sometime but pull out when I listen to others experience with the sellers. Let me pchat u 2 get ur view & share from your experience.
uchman:
Good Morning,
I dont know how to do that but the business is something more than writing it here...

Auto parts business has steady buyers that are ready to buy the whole items in your container within 1 to 3 days...

You dont need to stress yourself to sell because every item will have more than ten buyers willing to buy and the business is cash and carry no credit...

If you are living in America, Canada,Taiwan,Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Australia,Hongkong,UK ,UAE and others,
Knowing about this business will be a big plus for you...

Note that you will need to know the particular car parts needed.

You can sell in ladipo or Used auto parts market in Onitsha but note that lagos drives updated cars than Onitsha.

Well, someone quoted me and wrote "Talk is cheap"
I dont need to write much,
If more people will be interested to know about this business,
Then I will open a thread to explain better...

One love

AutosRe: Let's Calculate The Total Cost Of Clearing Your Car From Tincan Island Port by damoche64: 11:56pm On Feb 17, 2020
With your analysis & calculation, how much is the total cost to clear corrola 04 with all fees inclusive?

kaysy:
In this thread we will be treating the total cost of clearing cars at the Tincan Island Port via RORO or Containerized.

Example of how to calculate the Import Duty of your car, lets say Toyota Corolla 2004.

SOLUTION
The CIF Value of Toyota Corolla 2004 is $2194. Please note that this CIF Value is usually in USD and the exchange rate the NCS uses at the moment is N326. The Rate of Duty for Vehicles is currently 35% of CIF Value.

So lets convert the CIF Value to Naira, $2194 X 326 = N715,244
Lets get the 35% of N715,244. Which is N715,244 X 0.35 = N250,335.4
Now N250,335.4 is your Import duty which is called the surface value.
To get the total amount u are to pay including VAT, Surcharge & ETLS, we have to multiply our surface value with a constant value of 1.38
So N250,335.4 X 1.38 = N345,463. This is your total import duty

Clearing Agent Fee is below N100,000 and its opened for negotiations.

Shipping company / Terminal Fee, budget between N60,000 to N80,000 (Estimate)

To know the clearing cost of other vehicles, just ask me for the CIF value of the car and i'll respond with it then u can do the calculation yourself or i can do the calculation and give u the final vlaue in Naira if u want me to.

Visit our office at Tincan Island with your Bill of Lading lets start the process and clear your car today. Call: 0 8 0 2 4 1 0 2 5 5 4.

We'll strongly recommend u visit our office in person or send someone to come and see exactly how everything is being done from office to office, once the car has been cleared and released from terminal, we hand it over to u.
