Nigerian govt. is the most useless govt. in the world.

They send OBJ to go and settle useless scores in neighbouring country recently. We act big brother to these countries, but fail to act as brothers to our fellow country men.

I can vividly remember clinton going to korea just last year to inquire for the release of americans.

This is a time to act, and we have everything it takes to act, the SA companies are here, if our senate, or reps. or presidency cannot get the SA govt. to punish the people responsible for this, they can as well push DSTV out so that HITV can breath or better still push MTN out, so that GLO can breath.

It's called diplomacy, this happen in our immediate homes, and our homes are supposed to be a reflection of our society. We as Nigerians must really vote for the right set of people.

SA cannot do this to americans or britons because they know their govt. will stand against it. We must stand up for ourselves, we must by all means possible begin to say NO to brutality of our people, this person killed now is related to each of us as Nigerians, cos we could marry his sister or have a brother as a friend tommorrow and if they possibly trace our bloodline we will find out we re related, I see no reason why we shouldn't stand up for our brothers.

They'll continue to kill us in all foreign countries, brutalise us, bully us, until we say NO.

You can of course search for other options, but am aware Glo has services that allows you to call Intl for as low as N10, this as been pretty popular for up to 10 years now, those calling card stuff, But just google it anyway, am sure you can find a services that allows you call wherever for N5 per min.

Nigeria's problem is its structure. It's structured to propel corruption and its vices.

If a good politician with good intentions go into the senate or house of reps. he's bound to easily become corrupt because the system largely supports corruption and there's no wisdom there that he should fight it, else he'll be ridiculed and everything he plans will be frustrated.

i will like to ask our potential president that mean well for the growth of our nation, what have they done, to change this structure to become one that emulates productivity.

Little drops of water makes a large ocean. That's a pretty naive statement. Do you know how much the UK generates yearly from Nigeria alone on visa application.

Embassies do warn applicants about the implication of submitting fake documents but Nigerians will always want to use short cut, we believe so much in prayers that God will blind the eyes of a white man.

Am yet to see any embassy application centre that puts a small signage outside stating: DO NOT SUBMIT FORGED DOCUMENTS. YOU WILL GET BANNED FROM APPLYING.

Like I stated, when I applied, I had real reason to, but the dude at the desk where i was applying, who happens to be the VISA rep. to me, just told me, don't do it like this, it won 't work, do it like this, take this documents, put it, it'll work, blah blah blah,

Once more, Thank God for nairaland and members like yourselves that's made it more clear. it's pretty pretty easy for any Nigerian to believe, VISA process is done by somebody somewhere called ' uncle london ' , very easy, cos there's very little information to help out.

More people are not aware of the implication of submitting fake documents. I remember the first time I ever applied for a visa, it's the guy at the VISA office that gave me documents, and advised it's going to sail through, These was years ago, I didn't even bother any more, but my point is, these EMBASSIES need to do more publicity to help improve people's knowledge abt the effects of submitting documents that are forged.

But I doubt they will, as they continue to rake in money on this basis.

One will continue to appreciate Nairaland for the quality contents that's helped improved one's perspective to these matters.
