Politics / Re: Stella Oduah: The Imperativeness Of A Partnership With Charles Soludo by damola1: 5:40am On Mar 21, 2022
SmartProf:
The content of her write up makes sense, but it's difficult to trust the true intent of a Nigerian politician. Soludo needs to use Putin's kind of long table to hold any partnership meeting with Stella else he will be drafted into looting partnership.

Looting partnership lol

Soludo was a cbn gov. He isn’t a baby anymore. For him to have even survived Obiano. He is probably the most sophisticated intellectual we have after fashola . I am excited by his presence. Time will tell

Moyes has done an excellent job at westham

openmine:
I will take a win against west ham any day no matter the scoreline....of course west ham will have their chances...they are no small team and if given an opportunity will destroy any team!
Our front three esp salah did not impress today....klopp simply picked out d worst to prove he can take out any star player no matter their status in d team!
Obviously, salah will feel bad not just for his forgettable performance but indirectly being told by klopp through subs that he didn't do well enough today!
For now,its 3 points 4 LFC and more intense pressure on man city tomorrow against manutd!

World war will be harder now than ever

The new weapon is isolation.

Everyone depends on one another.

So Iran couldn’t do much as they suffered isolation.

What everyone must realize now is that we all of our grievances. America didn’t become great just by doing 1 thing right. Nigeria didn’t become poor just by doing 1 thing wrong

You will still campaign for him.

When PDP present Atiku as their candidate, no one will beg you to campaign for Asiwaju.

Now you either choose an Atiku or Tinubu’s and I’m sure you will prefer the Latter.

Apparently if there is no better technically fit candidate who has the know how.

Family / Re: Why Do You Give Money To Your Mom Instead Of Your Dad? by damola1: 9:49am On Jan 10, 2022
Solid

Ofadaman:
Truth is, the world isn't fair to men,but that's how the world works, growing up as kids we see more of our mum, they provide the care and all, but we hardly see the real side of our fathers because our mums portray our dad's as the enforcer who only disciplines, meanwhile the man toils from dawn to dusk to make the money ,it's the money that our mum's translate into the good things like food, school bags, fees, clothes, parties etc .
This places the mothers in position of care and weakness, a position that uncannily makes we want to care and protect them, we grow up with that mindset such that when parents are aged we send money to our mums in hope that they'd transform it into something good. Now, this is where we are wrong, women aren't good with power especially over their husbands, should you take this approach, the women will try to subjugate her husband and soon you'd find your father becoming more naive and have less voice in home affairs.

As a son, who understands , when you send money , send to your mum for the house items with your dad knowing, but also send to your Dad privately for his pocket (even if it's a quarter of what you gave your mum for the house items) , because a man needs it for his confidence.

The world has no sympathy for men, even in their old age, they have no where to run to, no shoulder to lean on, even their own kids abandon them. No one remembers their struggle, have you heard of any musician singing about how his father prayed for him or advices him?.. it's always the mums.

If you're a man and reading this, You can break this circle, be there for your father,

Tell this to your sons also.

Thanks corrected: Average Life Expectancy
Celebrities / Re: Sidikat Odukanwi 'Iyabo Oko' Dies, Veteran Nollywood Actress Dies At 61 by damola1: 5:34am On Jan 06, 2022
Average Life Expectancy in Nigeria: 54:

Average Life Expectancy in USA: 78

Average Life Expectancy in Japan: 84.

why:

Poor lifestyle choices. poor quality of life. poor health care infrastructure... expecting God to workout, eat well, and live well.

What can you do about it:

Generally, since you cannot do much about the health care infrastructure, focus on preventive measures. unless in cases of accidents, poor health takes time to stay good or really go bad. so use this time wisely

1. Learn about your family history, and what you can do to improve your health from your 20s... start practicing... you can live over 80 and still be active...

2. Sleep well ( 7-9 hours ). Eat Well ( Avoid the 5 white poisons 1. Sugar 2. Salt 3. White Flour 4. White rice 5. White potatoes ). Work out at least: 3-4x weekly, even with brisk walking for at least: 45mins.

3. Keep learning, and improve your finances, so you can have better health care.

or better still japa to these other countries and allow their infrastructure to take charge of your health, but remember, they also battle the above issues: only it's easier to walk around there because they have better walkway etc... and they take quality of life generally better.

Thank you

5 white poisons

1. Sugar
2. Salt
3. White Flour
4. White rice
5. White potatoes

The real issue is the consistency we take them.

You are what you do consistently

Guyman02:
The guy outsmarted Tonto Dike on this one, kept the original owner certificate in his name and presented fake documents with her name to her as if he knew the relationship may not last.

When things went South between them he requested for his Lexus and Tonto initially claimed it was a gift to her from him, she presented the vehicles papers to Police which confirmed that the guy was with the original purchase certificates in his name.

Recall also that Tonto gave him a Hilux for his birthday with original documents bought in his name.

Now the guy has the two cars to himself shocked

But in another angle, Tonto despite been a loud mouth was sincere to him while they dated but the guy is a player who was out to use her ab initio like he has done to many other Yeyebrities and that's why she is seriously pained upon realising she has being used and dumped

if that is the case. Then shame on him
