amen1967:No it isn't PEJ Unchained was made as part of our "Sonbim Mini" Project where we rapid prototype simple, fun game ideas in days rather than months. So we usually just create an Android version. Though if there is a reasonable amount of intrest, we could create an iphone port... Another option would be to put a html5 version online so you can play in your browser |
MissMeiya:Thanks for the support.. We will continue to do our best |
For those wondering the story behind it... Abeg.. It's just a fun game ... ![]() We have no political affiliations whatsoever At Sonbim Games this year we decided that in between our larger games we would take 2 or 3 days off to build smaller fun games.. This is to re-ginger our creativity so we can head back inspired. PEJ Unchained is the first... The full gist is here.... http://sonbimgames.com/announcing-sonbim-mini/ |

We created Sortables in collaboration with Connect4Climate. (A World Bank Project) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJ4krHkHlpQ Initially created just for a competition, the project has since taken a life of its own. Created for Android (and other platforms to come), Sortables is pure arcade fun. The premise As the video explained, we knew it had been tried before and wasn't so successful but we were sure we had a unique formula to make sharing awareness about Climate Change fun. Simple addictive gameplay with tasty rewards and unlockables. So basically sort the trash into the correct bins to recycle, sounds pretty simple right....? Well in-between you have to decompose the organics, make some money, upgrade your bins and unlock new levels Style wise, we decided to experiment and try something new. We built the game and environments in full 3D, modeled, textured, animated and all, but the gameplay engine is 2D. This allows up to create a rich experience. And should I say so myself, the art is looking gorgeous Should make an interesting mix... Watch out for the game and more details in the following days

lol.. Thanks man.. We decided to go with the dollar since the android game market is international and the dollar is still the most recognized currency there is. We however did not neglect our prime Nigerian community as you would notice in the screenshot |

Hi Well done to these guys. I would also recommend AfroTalez which won the Best Entertainment App at The MTN Developer Contest and a finalist at Mobile West Africa. "It’s all fun, games and learning with AfroTalez. A set of educational apps for kids aged 2-10. Teaching and passing on traditional African Folktales in a fun, entertaining and interactive way. In addition to learning about some major African folk stories that are inherently a part of our African heritage and the moral issues addressed in majority of them, these amazing, colorful and exciting apps also incorporate little puzzles such as object recognition to help with the mental development of our young readers. The story, "The Tortoise, Elephant and the Hippopotamus" is one of many that extols the Intelligence of folk hero 'Mr. Tortoise' who usually faces and overcomes challenges in novel and unexpected ways. Watch Out for new stories coming soon…" https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.companyname.AfroTalez&hl=en

Hi, While it isnt exactly what I am looking for at the moment. Feel free to send a pm The thing about those ideas though..especially in Naija... In getting a contact within the Ad agencies. They control the money. I still haven't cracked that angle . I am based in Naija yet all my work for the brands I mentioned where in other countries through online contacts. |
Hi My name is Idamiebi. I am an award winning video director, producer and Visual Effects Artist. Over the last 7 years I have successfully produced work for brands such as KIA,Chevrolet, Fa, Samsung , Reebok and more.. As a small personal project for a contest, I want to shoot a video about a disabled sportsperson who enjoys the sport they do I want to shoot a really short documentary about them... their own story... Here is an short description of what I am looking for:: Who are we talking about? We are talking about people who are unique, passionate, original not different, but themselves , instigators, confident and part of a community/a crew. There is no rhyme or reason for them doing what they do. Why do they do it? Because they can. And whatever it is they do, they have a damn good time doing it. Tone: original, passionate, authentic, street, exhilarating not extreme or jackass, down to earth) If you know anybody that fits this bill (preferably within Abuja, cause that's where i am based) , please contact me Also---if you can think of anyone in these categories "action, sport, music, entertainment, art, gaming", that also fits the above description (doesn't need to be disabled... that's just for the sports one. also contact me.... Thanks) |
Interesting Topic Idamiebi here. Lead Developer Sonbim Games, Creators of titi Tilapia and the already mentioned Valentine Rush. Am actually on the road at the moment but will be back in a bit to talk more on this |
