Media personality, Kim Kardashian West joined President Trump at the White House for an event on criminal justice reform.

Kim Kardashian spoke at the White House on Thursday, appearing alongside President Donald Trump boosting efforts to help people leaving prison return to the workforce.

South African show runner, screenwriter, film producer, director and script editor Thandi Brewer is dead.

Thandi Brewer often called the "Shonda Rhimes of South Africa" has died after losing her third battle against cancer.

The highly respected writer and producer had a storied career in South Africa's TV and film industry for close to 60 years.

She also launched many careers in script-writing, directing and acting. She was also the founder and first chairperson of the influential and growing Writer's Guild of South Africa (WGSA).

"[Thandi Brewer] passed away this morning at around 02:15 after a long battle with cancer. She was in tremendous pain over the last year, but fought and was our pillar of strength until the end", Harriet Meier, chairperson of the WGSA said.

Step mother disfigures the face of her step son with hot electric iron in Lagos.

A boy identified as Ezekiel Kuti lives with his father and step mother at Owode onirin opposite old Barack in Lagos. Ezekiel’s face was burnt badly by his step mother using a hot electric iron.

According to the boy, the incident happened on the 5th of June when he spilled a gallon of groundnut oil. He tried scooping it and decided to use water to fill it back up, in fear of being punished.

His step mother noticed this and got upset with him. In the presence of his father, his step mother used a hot electric iron to burn him on his face. When asked if he was taken to the hospital, he said he was not, he was the one treating himself.

Justice of the court of Appeal Akure division, O.F. Omoleye recounts how she was attacked by pastor and member of the RCCG Glory Tabernacle Church, Ijapo Estate, Akure, Ondo state on Wednesday.

In the past 48 hours the social media has been awash with the fake and concocted story of how Honourable Justice O.F. Omoleye, J.C.A. purportedly invaded the Redeemed Christian Church of Glory Tabernacles, Ijapo Estate, Akure on the 5th of June, 2019 during a church Service.

The fake news further stated that the Honourable Justice attacked an aged woman who fainted and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Nothing can be farther than the truth. The church in question is illegally built on a canal right beside the residence of the Honourable Justice where she has been living since 1984 before the foundation of the church was laid.

On the day in question, the Honourable Justice intended to have a peaceful stay at home but the usual nuisance and uncontrolled noise from the church would not allow her. On the instruction of her lawyer and in furtherance of her intention to gather evidence to present to Pastor Dele Oyesola, Pastor-in-Charge of the RCCG, Ondo Province at the meeting he proposed, the Honourable Justice, decided to take pictures of wares displayed for sale along and on her property , suddenly, one of the church members attacked her from behind, punched her and broke her phone.

And IF any hospital or laboratory gives you a FALSE result which you later found out was wrong by repeating the test elsewhere, SUE THEM. SUE THEIR ASS! Speak with a lawyer and demand for millions in compensation due to the emotional and psychological damage. You must sue.

A lawsuit is the only way many of these unscrupulous businessmen and fraudsters running laboratories can be stopped from this nonsense. Many of them are only bothered about money and nothing but money. Imagine telling someone they are HIV positive and they go kill themselves?

A video showing an official at Nigerian Embassy in Italy as he physically assaults an elderly woman who wants to return to home to Nigeria has surfaced online.

In the video, he elderly woman can be seen being pushed outside the office by an official at the Nigerian embassy in Italy. She ended up sitting on the floor as the official assaults the elderly woman, shouting at her to get out of the office. The elderly woman can be seen struggling to stand up from the floor until the person making the video gave her a hand.

According to the elderly woman, she has been in Italy for 30 years and desperately wants to come back to home to her country in Nigeria. She claims that she has been ignored for months at the office as officials have refused to stamp her documents because she wouldn't pay bride.

The frustrated woman insisted something must be done on this day as she will not leave until it is resolved. The woman can be heard speaking in pidgin, she said;

Danbury Plane Crash - A small plane crashed through the roof, into a home in Danbury, Connecticut, leaving the neighbourhood in shock.

The small plane, a glider is seen in the video footage stuck on the roof of the Golden Hill Avenue home where it crashed into. The pilot managed to escape with only minor injuries and the three residents of the house luckily were not injured although, they had to be taken to the hospital for evaluation.

According to News Times, the glider, which operates on battery, ran out of power on Tuesday evening and crashed.

Residents in the Neighbourhood rushed out after they heard a sound that one of them described as "a gunshot and a small explosion". According to city Mayor Mark Boughton, they walked into the attic of the house where the plane had crashed and found the pilot walking around, looking for his glasses.

Half of the body of the white glider and its wings were still sticking out of the attic, but its tail had snapped in half shortly after the crash. A crane can be seen attempting to remove the aircraft's fuselage which remained embedded in the roof overnight.
