TravelRe: Share Your Experience Of Life Outside Nigeria. by DanG1(m): 8:24am On Oct 02, 2018
BRAZIL.

I see someone has shared his experience on life in Brazil and I am sure he lives in São Paulo City.

I have relocated to Brazil for more than 5 years now and before relocation I used to visit randomly in the past years.
One thing is life in São Paulo city is different from all other parts of Brazil as São Paulo is the entry point to Brazil so we have different people and culture and all kinds of mishaps. And my friends in São Paulo experience all this negativity.

I live in Ribeirão Preto city in São Paulo state and it's very different, all the interior cities in Brazil are better than São Paulo in terms of way of life, living habits and sure Brazilians are so nice, welcoming and very family oriented.

You should know that Brazil was just like Nigéria some years ago but their development has been rapid and good, can't be compared with Europe or the North America but they have done fine for themselves and are still growing.

Learning the language like everyone has said is key but not a huge barrier. I love the fact that I can control so many things in my life unlike while I was in Nigeria. I can control my income and my expenditures, plan my plan, have good utilities, healthcare, security, transportation etc.

Education wise Brazilians don't like to study even though all public universities are free. And the government has partnership with Nigeria to bring in Pharmacist for research work in their universities and the government pays them for this period of stay.

I have lived and visited these other countries: CHILE, USA, SPAIN, ITALY, GERMANY, SWEDEN, GHANA, EGYPT, MOROCCO, SAUDI ARABIA, YEMEN, INDIA, VIETNAM, BENIN, TOGO and transits through some others.

I love Nigeria but will only visit when I can because the faaji can never be like any other place but I will never make the mistake of relocating back there.

I am investing in Nigeria because you can get huge returns in short term and will always come to check them my PADI and enjoy the diversity and craze.
But all these places I have visited are offer better systems than Nigeria, give you an opportunity to be what you want to be unlike Nigeria.

God Bless Nigeria and God bless every other country that has given me the opportunity to have a better life.

Hello guys,

Just need some advice from you all.

What would be a huge internet business to start in 2017?

Note:
We are not focused on short term success
We want to focus on a good/strong niche and go head to head with already existing competitors

I have options such as:
Blogging: Informative / Educative Content based blogs
News media: An internet site that can come up with its own news and editorials and the likes
Forum: Really I don't like the headache but if it is worth it, its good
Hosting Services: Reseller or Original hosting services.

I am not placing budget on what am about to do but we have some cash to support all financial needs of the chosen business until it can stand and challenge the competitors and also create value for its end users.

Your thoughts and advice are always welcome.

maclatunji:
Has it occurred to you that you are a potential accomplice to a crime? Obtaining under false pretence. The guys on top of this scheme have huge funds to play with as nobody controls their insider trading behind the scenes.

Your attempt at answering my questions is commendable.
No, I am not in anyway an accomplice to crime as there is no criminal activity perpetuated here. I have not obtained under false pretence. It's like you tell the Church they are extorting from their members. The members have been told why they need to make their donations and what they stand to gain and they willingly do. Same as MMM, every participant has been told the ins and outs, the dangers and the gains and they decided to out of their sound mind. So there is nothing criminal involved. The criminals who are the politicians till date have not gotten the same criticism you all have passed on to citizens on about their dangerous and risky life. If you spend 10% of this energy on uncovering political thieves, would have been more helpful
InvestmentRe: 10 Questions For MMM Subscribers (Mavrodians) by DanG1(m): 6:58pm On Dec 23, 2016
My answers as a Participant of the MMM Scheme and someone who got to like the system and heavy throughts and who knew what was at stake before joining.

1. Where do you think the money you are collecting through MMM is coming from?

Money is not coming from anywhere, the money being paid as 30% is provided by another participant who has pledged a certain amount into the system. What you need to understand that everyone in the system should and must have read the risks related and still wanted in. With their own money. Which isn't your's. It's a willingness to do based on what I feel I stand to gain (Same as my willingness to pay my tithe based on what I am told I would gain)

2. Do you know what a Ponzi scheme is?

Yes! We know it's a Ponzi scheme, but I feel am grown up enough to make my own decisions, it's my money and my decision on where and how to use it. I have lost money from legitimate places. I know what MMM is. I read all about the history and still decided to join based on personal convictions (you may call it greed, I would respect your opinion. If I can respect yours, then you need respect mine)

3. Where did you get the money you invested in MMM from?

Where I got the money from, would really not be anyone's business as far as it wasn't reported stolen. It's my money and how it was generated still remains my concern and what type of business or scam I choose to use it for is still my decision to make as far as I am of sound mind and judgment

4. Is it that you don’t understand that governments across the world are duty-bound not to allow a Ponzi scheme started by an ex-convict that has scammed people across the world operate freely within their countries?

Well, the government and other regulatory bodies have their jobs to do. And am glad they are doing it. Same as me, I have my life to live and my decisions to make. The government didn't give me the money. I worked for it, I can decide what it is used for against anybody's wish

5. Explain how MMM is a revolutionary idea that commercial banking should be afraid of?

It's not a revolutionary idea, it is a system that came at a time where our present system cannot cater for our needs, so we decided to take matters into our own hands, I believe it is better than, having to hear that people are dying of hunger or increase in armed robbers or homelessness. MMM is not the real deal, but as long as it lasted it helped elevate the some lives

6. Do you understand that wealth is created based on the value you create not through this system operated by a few people to rob people of their money while leaving them in the lurch?

MMM Nigeria is not a productive outfit yet. It can only become more productive if/when it switches fully to the Bitcoin system. It was being groomed for that. There are a lot that meets the eyes about MMM (Nigeria MMM just exploded because as Nigerian's that's who we are. I have been in the Brazilian system and still yet, its been so quiet because in Brazil its for residual income generation unlike Nigeria. But like I said we are Nigerians and thats how we are)

7. Did you anticipate that your ‘investment’ (sorry, your ‘Mavros’) could be frozen without you having any say on what happens next?

Never ahve I anticipated it, but it is happening and not like I have not being aware all along that it would one day end. I have and am aware. So the day it happens won't come as a shock to me because i read the terms and conditions before signing. So I am aware of the risks

8. Do you agree that as a promoter of the scheme, you are quite dubious because you are seeking to reap bountifully at the expense of others when the scheme crashes?

As a promoter. I am not dubious. As I have not taken anything from you that would make me dubious. As far as I explain to you and you decided willingly to join, you have made your decions as an adult and I am not responsible for it.

9. Do you not worry that you could have a hand in the death or grievous harm happening to people who could lose money from MMM and become suicidal?

No, I wasn't worried. Every person I have brought into the system, I have monitored and warned not to go greedy and should stick to a plan that helps reduce loss and still keep you alive even if you lose it. It is boldly written on the MMM page

10. Do you understand that you are effectively using time that you could use for productive activity to promote a questionable scheme at best?

Well, my time and how I use it, its still my business. Unless you are my benefactor, then I would have to answer to you. If you found time to write all these questions and explanations, then I should have my time to do as I please

Your answers and feedback are quite welcome.
BusinessRe: We Are Investigating MMM Ponzi Scheme — EFCC by DanG1(m): 2:04am On Nov 17, 2016
ColonelDrake:
God bless you. I keep asking people persuading me to invest into this MMM that where is the 30% interest prmosied coming from. Usually they become dumbfounded anytime I ask this question. The so called interest is coming from new entrants who would in turn want to get their own 30% from another person and the cycle continues till the scheme collapses. And by then, some people's money will be stucked - especially those that invested massive fund into the scheme. I ain't trying to discourage anyone, I'm just trying to employ people to reason it out.
I can give answers to your questions when you are ready to listen
PoliticsBukola Sakari’s Promise: Promoting Made In Nigeria Products by DanG1(op): 10:34am On Feb 11, 2016
Following the Senate President, Abubakar Bukola Saraki’s visit to the "Made in Aba” Trade fair on the 8th of February, 2016, an event aimed at showcasing and promoting local products that were made in Aba for Nigerians by Nigerians using local raw materials, I decided to write this article to highlight ways by which we can as Nigerians promote and improve our local industries and entrepreneurs

During Saraki’s visit, he made a strong statement in support of these creative and hardworking group of Nigerians (entrepreneurs), promising them that the 8 Senate would work towards amending the Nigerian Procurement Act to ensure that locally produced good are given high priority over their foreign substitute in the procurement process. A look at his Facebook page reveals his own written words:

https://brightonict.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/Bukola-Sakari.jpg

Knowing full well how many of us Nigerians have lost hope and trust in our politicians, we can only pray and hope that this promise made is taken seriously and implemented. But am sure just the implementation of this promise won’t boost the local production industry or will it regain the trust of Nigerian consumers in local producers or products?

We know that over time we have grown to lose trust in locally produced products because of various experiences and events, such as:

The ability of locally produced goods/wares to stand the test of time
Are made with low-quality raw materials with no quality assurance/control
It is rare to get after-sales support for purchases or impossible to return items which go bad after you have paid for it (even if you are still at the point where you bought it, it will be difficult to return it after payment is made)
These products are expensive given the fact that they are locally made and of poor quality
Most of these products are faked or just bad copies of an original product, repackaged and rebuilt
I have a strong feeling that both consumer and producers confidence in the local market can be improved and enhanced through the following strategies if implemented and well executed:

Consumer Protection and Producer Control

I will use an example of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Act (PROCON – Defesa Do Consumidor). Here we can see that Brazil has been able to set up a government body that defends consumers against producers and their products with objectives such as:

Consumer education and exposure
Consumers and Producers issue resolution (after-sales)
Prosecution and execution of justifiable measures where any between both parties
Qualitative and quantitative research of producers and their products; and many more
If this can be implemented in Nigeria, it will go a long way to improving the consumer’s confidence; knowing full well that my interest, safety, and quality assurance is protected, I would gladly purchase local goods.

Same applies to the Producers, there is also a need for a body that controls their production activities (pre to post-production) – ensuring that they follow laid down quality guidelines, control of product prices, and many other control measures, will ensure that no producer abuses his clients or can do whatever he feels like (as it is the practice today), doing this would enhance healthy competition within producers in terms of quality of their products and customer satisfaction as these will be key ways in which they can acquire and keep clients

Consumer education and incentivisation

There should be continuous education (formal and informal) of the consumers highlighting how patronizing locally made products improves the country and various aspect of the economy. If enough education and communication is adopted in this regard it will improve consumer’s believe, consumers need to know why and how buying a Made in Aba product can improve the economy and how it can lead to increase in employment and foster entrepreneurship; this can also help the producer improve on quality of his product (after-sales feedback effect). This education can be done by high quality/educational propagandas and adverts. More reality shows or series that focus on improving local consumption and production

Public and Private Support for Genuine and Serious Producers/Entrepreneurs

Sakari’s promise would be a huge boost for the producers at the Trade fair and will go a long way to spur them on, but it must not stop there, there must be follow-up and implementation. Also, there should be other incentives provided to assist producers;

Providing financial support: Government can grant little or no interest loans to genuine and serious-minded producers with long-term payment plans. Our private banks should be implored/encouraged to be part of this process. We need to provide them access to financial facilities to enable them to set up and also reduce the rate at which they seek profit instead they concentrate on quality production and providing employment and increasing production capacity

Economic Policies and Infrastructures: Government have to make and continue policies that support indigenous producers;
stop the importation of items that can/should be produced in the country
make Forex easily accessible to producers, if possible (which I know it is)
provide low-cost lands to enable them to build their factories, or possibly provide lands to them on a rental basis.
Infrastructures such as Electricity can be improved and priority is given to industrial areas, these will lessen the cost of production
Road maintenance and networks need to be improved
Reduce Police interference on the roads – they are meant to protect and not extort or make life difficult for road users

Tax Policies: I made this as a sub-topic on its own because the present government has proven that they are here to use taxation as the main source of generating income for the country after the fall in global oil prices. But for me, I am of the opinion that if we can have more taxable companies and industries paying bearable amounts sounds better than extracting huge amount from the few ones we have. We should enable and promote the creation of more companies and producers as a form of tax income increase rather than increasing tax levies.

Conclusion

I believe in Nigeria and the industriousness of Nigerians, we can create and we have proved that we have only over the years been drawn back by a system that does not function the way it should. Most Nigerians have traveled out and have been able to become good business owners and builders simply because the system of such countries functions the way it should. When a system functions it makes it possible that the processes described in it when followed would lead you to a sustainable end, but when a system is messed up with corruption, economic imbalance, policy fluctuations, lack of control measures, tribal differences and diversity as ours, it becomes difficult.

Let each and everyone one of us be a builder, let pro-activity drive our engagements, and those in power in public offices should understand why they were entrusted with such positions and use it to better lives.

I believe if the system functions right, the people in it would also become productive

Thanks for reading, drop your comments or ideas or drop me a mail, would be glad to share your opinions

Jobs/VacanciesThe Ultimate Interview Guide – Applicant To Employee by DanG1(op): 8:45pm On Feb 06, 2016
The ultimate interview guide is not written as an assurance that you would get hired after you job interview, knowing full well that getting that desired job depends on various factors; such as:

-Your knowledge and experience of the position you are applying for – which includes your area of study back in school or if you have had past working experience on same or related job,
-the work requirements,
-other applying candidates,
-the power of your curriculum and finally,
-your performance during the interview.

I have over the years been opportune to attend various interviews ranging from those I directly applied for, those I was called to attend based on recommendations or interested employers/recruiters who went through my Linkedin profile. There are also some I have attended for the purpose of understanding what it entails and to relive the experience of the process. In all these I have failed some and passed some. I have also been opportune to be in the position of an interviewer and that’s why I feel I can share with you some of the secrets I have gathered over these wonderful period with you.

What is the definition of the word “Interview”? I found a very comprehensive definition from Wikipedia to help us understand once more what it is “An interview is a conversation between two or more people where questions are asked by the interviewer to elicit facts or statements from the interviewee. Interviews are a standard part of qualitative research” – Wikipedia definition of Interview

So, it is a conversation (not presentation or lecture) between two or more people, goes a long way to let you know that is a two way spoken communication, a conversation is defined as “Conversation is a form of interactive, spontaneous communication between two or more people. Typically it occurs in spoken communication, as written exchanges are usually not referred to as conversations” – Wikipedia definition of Conversation

Now knowing what Interview is and what it entails, lets move forward with the helpful tips and secrets you need to know and practise before, during and after an interview

Improving your Conversational Skills
This is a very important aspect of the interview process; if this is not effectively executed the chances that we might get the job at the end becomes very slim. For the average Nigerian applicant, this aspect proves difficult because of how our cultural values are fused into our lives while growing up. We were taught to respect elders, avoid words that elders or people in higher positions might be offended with and many more, these have one way or another limited our conversational abilities as we tend to grow up timid, we tend to seek perfect words in our minds before we speak out, we become too cautious, we dig deep to look for ways not to offend the elderly or people in position so as not to sound disrespectful or rude and to maintain our stand in their “good-books”. These ain’t wrong but over the years it has become a limiting factor to our conversational abilities. Most of us have had ordeals with lecturers who deduct our hard earned scores because they got offended by the way and manner at which you asked questions, or defended an answer or executed an arguments that ensued during lectures and many more examples. These and many more ends up affecting our conversational psychology.

For an interview to be successful you need to be very good with your conversational abilities, learn to find comfortable subjects to discuss on with your interviewer or employees of the company in cases where you might find yourself waiting in the reception area or a public area within the company before your interview begins. Get into the act of getting to know other people, be interested in who they are and what they are and use it to build conversations lines. In doing this successfully you will win people to your side, you will make them like you and they will grow fond of you. Who says the lady/gentleman you might have been sharing a good conversation with about the county’s economic situations and policies at the reception isn’t the one who would be interviewing you, meaning you have already won your interviewers heart even before the interview.

I cannot stress the value of good conversation enough, it is key, it is important, it holds the potential to give you that job. Don’t just sit there all quiet, waiting to do the question and answer series, that might only give you the job probably based on your qualifications/experience which was superior to other applicants but you and I know that rarely is the outcome in this modern day.

Let your conversational ability be powerful and learn to win people over with your ability to show interest in them and their lives, everyone loves attention, loves a bit of compliments and someone who listens and shows sincere concern, be that person and see how the world begins to appreciate you.

Knowledge of the Company and the Job functions for which you applied
Before that interview take your time to find out more about the company; information such as location, company values, mission and vision, their core businesses, market performance over a certain period of time, the culture and the market in which the company operates and seeks to operate in, specific information about your job role, remuneration, compensation packages and benefits. Information as these could be gathered from web researches, speaking to employees of the company, making a call to the HR and many other viable ways you can think of. These improves your confidence and helps you avoid some questions a lot of interviewees asks that most interviewers don’t like (they wouldn’t tell you in the face)

Appearance and Comportment
Take time out to get the appropriate wears for your interview, there are different dressing forms based on various factors ranging from type of work, sector of the company etc. Get the suitable wears, try them on and ensure they make you look smart and outstanding. Practice your speaking patterns, sitting patterns and make sure you improve on your weak areas, because the way you dress is how you will be addressed

Common Interview Question Reviews
It is advisable that you review interview questions based on the area you applied for; make researches to find out if you can get possible interview questions from the web, use web tools such as Linkedin, Glassdoor. Don’t forget to find answers to those simple but yet tricky questions that come up in 85% of interviews; would be going over some of them. Remeber, these questions most times are asked not because an interviewer expects you to have a predetermined answer but they are used to examine a lot of skills that you are not aware of; skills such as your ability to convincing in your speech, qualitative and analytical skills, rapid data processing and output speed, your ability to market yourself and maybe even the company, and lots more. Here is a secret for you: No interviewer would go all the way to make sure that your answers are 100% true but 100% convincing, so it means you can tell some fairy-tales but it must be convincing and well thought of so that you don’t end up shooting yourself in the foot. I have interview applicants who tell very convincing fairy-tales and have met some who weren’t lying but were not able to pass any convincing information. Be sure to be clear, precise and convincing. Now let’s look at some of these questions:

Tell us about yourself:

This is a very simple yet difficult questions for most applicants to answer. The response you give to this question might determine the tone of the whole interview (positively or negatively). Here are some tips:

Don’t ever make the mistake of asking that silly question our young ladies ask these days. I termed it the “Good bye, Job” question. Don’t ever ask your interviewer “What do/would you want to know”. It is a no go area.

Don’t answer this question by talking about yourself, I have gotten responses like: My name is Emmanuel, I am 40 years old, lived in Victoria Island and moved to Mainland, I have 16 siblings blab blab, the interviewer is not interested in this, that is why your personal information is already on your CV, most times the personal information we give as answers goes a log way to determine if you would be hired.

Your answer should be/must be about you strength based on the job you are applying for, the abilities you posses that might be useful for the job, your past experiences ad accomplishments that makes you the right person for the job. Use this opportunity to market yourself and see let that interviewer knows what a valuable resource you would be

Why should we hire you?

This question can also come in various forms, such as:

Why should I hire you?
Why are you the best candidate for the job?
Why are you the right fit for the position?
What would you bring to the position?

From experience this question is asked by the interviewer so they can be able to assure themselves that they might be hiring the right candidate, knowing fully well that every candidate that was called for the interview is qualified for the job but not all of them have the skill sets to support their qualification, so this is the opportunity for you to market yourself by talking about the following

Your experience in the industry
Your past experience in performing certain tasks or duties
Technical skills/Managerial skills
Soft skills
Key accomplishments
Awards/accolades /Certifications/Memberships in related industry
Education/training you have received

Stories of how some of your accomplishment were achieved are also important, be ready to give detailed information into what, when, how a certain accomplishment came about, your role in the process either as a leader or team player. These are very key to ensure you are over and above other applicants.

Below, I will be listing 50 most commonly asked interview questions and you should make sure you go through them, make researches and find suitable answers to them. If you need help, you can send me a mail, would be glad to help you. Below is the list:

The 50 Most Common Interview Questions:

1. What are your strengths?
2. What are your weaknesses?
3. Why you are interested in working for [insert company name here]?
4. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years?
5. Why do you want to leave your current company?

I wish engineers and I mean proactive engineers can get to rule this country and work to solve problems in Nigeria. What Fashola said is not far from the solution but this solution is not the root cause of this problem. He should dig deep and find the real cause and he would find permanent solution we are tired of solutions that can't stand the test of time.
The solution by creating more housings by the government and rented to citizens
The solution making Mortages more feasible and accessible
The solution of creating systems of accountability and introducing buyers and sellers protection

If various solutions are not weighed we can't find the real permanent solution

I am an immigration officer and I want to say this, and quote me.No immigration officer,no matter how greedy he/she is, can conveniently seize a passport belonging to a Nigerian without the said Nigerian committing an immigration offence.
Sometimes, some Nigerians are funny, they don't have the requisite valid travel documents which can enable them to travel abroad, yet, they would want to travel at all cost.To the ignorant folks, the passport you claim that's its yours, isn't yours. You are only a holder. The passport is an exclusive property of the Federal government of Nigeria and can be withdrawn from you at any point without prior notice if you violate it usage, and the government agency responsible for both the issuance and withdrawal is NIS.I know many Nigerians just hold passports without reading the caution note on the inside back page of it.
So my dear op,kindly ask the concerned Nigerian if her travel documents were valid at that time.As a matter of fact people beg immigration officials to collect bribe from them once they are told that they don't have valid travel documents, so in this case, might be that the passenger involved didn't have valid travel documents, yet she still wanted to travel by all means. Is the immigration staff a father Christmas?
lol, LAST DAYS PASSENGER.
What you might have wrote might be correct for some cases but am sure it is untrue for 85% of the cases. The immigration officers I meet most times at the airport are extortionists. They fight for the money. For complete documents or not. They harass you to the point that you wouldn't want to come back to Nigeria. Just a lot of petty thieves in Uniform. I have never travelled without proper documentation but still they won't let you rest with their various formats of extortion. One case was when one of them asked me to produce a letter from the embassy that the visa that was in my passport was really issued to me (can you imagine)

You mean if you have a valid Visa issued on your Nigerian Passport in Nigeria, you can travel to Ghana or any Ecowas country and board from there? I am ignorant of that. Enlighten me more please
Yes you can, it does not really matter which country your visa was issued from. For West African countries it will to good to get the ECOWAS RESIDENCE PERMIT (not a must because you already have 90days legit), it is a 2 years permit to live and work in Ecowas Countries. With these you have no problems. Just book you return ticket to and from the country's airport you want to use. I feel Ghana is better. I have used it severally with no problems

They are imposing, they are authority abusers and they are worse than our corrupt politicains

I blame Booohari 4 all these sh*t.u are here to fight corruption yet corruption is on the rise everyday
Would you please pretend to be intelligent even though you aren't? Everything shouldn't be dragged into politics.

The cases of these immigration officers extorting innocent travelers is not a recent activity. It is a bad culture that has grown and become a norm in the Airport, our duty is to escalate these activities until authorities start looking into it.

I have been travelling since 2009 and I had same issues then and still face them till date.

I see the problems and I have different tales to tell. It is not politics, it is bad education and shamelessness of our officers at the airport

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Youths Are Not Prepared For Leadership by DanG1(m): 10:47pm On Oct 13, 2015
TonyeBarcanista, I felt today you brought up something that is a bitter truth, though majority might not agree but absolutely this is just a clear truth.

We the youth are failing today and failing our future, we have decided not to get out-of-the-box education, we have decided not to educate and develop our minds, characters and personality for these top positions and as such we would continue to see recycling in our Political system.
But to say it is totally the faults of the youth is 100% false because also the elders or the older ones have also refused to take the youth along from grass-root.

No politician or political Party has decided to do grass-root development, the governments of the past and of today don't even know that these programs needs to be embarked on, hence it makes it very difficult for some focused youth out there to be heard.

We the youth of today have refused to also fight for RIGHT OR WRONG, instead we fight for Personalities or group of persons. We have not led ourselves with integrity and as such we are not taken seriously.

For me I have seen Nairaland Political section as a medium to also grow grass-root politics and education of people about Politics, what is and what not but here everyday you find people who come in here to dumb rubbish, dump alphabets, fight for FTC, hardly ready topics before posting, hardly think about the topics before responding.

How many of us know who is reading and who is not? We have not taken ourselves seriously, how are we expecting the elder ones to take us seriously.

We are yet to see young minds with bright and calculative ideas to help Nigeria move forward, you can only hear the guy say "am in USA e no concern me how dem dey suffer for naija"

We need to wake up, we need to attack our leaders but in a way that they won't be able to deflect our arguments or better still think we are worth nothing. We have to form movements to educate and put our leaders on their toes, we need to make the leaders start responding to us, we need to start questioning them and making sure that they are providing answers.

We all need to work today for a better Nigeria. We should stop supporting blindly, stop resorting to insults, we should be constructive in our words and thoughts.

We need to have strong personalities and characters, stand for a purpose and make sure it is realized.

Thank you Tonye for this thread but it is just so sad that you will find little substance from the response to the argument. You will find so much insults to the point that you will be discouraged to keep on reading.

We need to change to be able to change Nigeria
PoliticsRe: If Nigeria Is Not A Fraud, Fuel Price Should Be Below 5o Naira By Now by DanG1(m): 4:50am On Oct 12, 2015
pinardave:
Since the past 9 months, I have been trveling back and forth to USA, as at February, the price of gallon of fuel which is called gas in USA was around 3.49/gallon, but since the fall in the global oil prices, the prices keep dropping on daily basis, as i am talking to you now, a price of gallon is hovering around 1.6 to 1.8 dollars/gallon. Why is it that our own Nigerian govt refused to comply their prices with the global oil price fall...Is Buhari not aware of this or are they trying to continue creating hardship for Nigerian people.
USA is a major buyer of Crude oil from major producing countries, so it is logical that when the Prices of Oil drops then definitely the domestic prices will also fall. Nigeria is a crude Oil selling country, when world prices fall, it means income from crude is reduced. We also import refined products of which is not affected by Crude Oil Price, so please there is really no point from comparing these two markets for now

Not part of immediate past government yet they looted more than the immediate past government.
So why weren't they probed before now? Knowing fully well right before now that they were this corrupt?

I am not saying they are saints, but I am just trying to make you understand what the President is after for now and which he has made known over and over
