Nothing but the truth. Enough stone, the house has thrown... |
Nice poetry, precisely deep but sad of the calamity that have befallen our once shinning judiciary and the last hope of the common man. |
Nsukka people of Enugu state has this tradition. I have witnessed a burial (brother to my coursemate then) at Enugu Ezike. He died mysteriously |
You guys were just lucky per say. Always prepare ahead. I know when i wrote my GCE then, i was posted in a far away village school. Luckily my elder brother was at hand to take me there every of my exam day with one of our fathers vehicle. We sha made some female friends who always ride back with us back to town and the relationships continued long after the exams |
chatinent:You are right. They were elected and are being paid to do their work. But many of them are not doing so, instead diverting state funds for their own peronal use. So praising those who are at least working is good, as more praise begats more workings. Kudos to those doing the work, as posterity will still judge allbof rhem in the near future. |
The Nigerian government needs to do a lot concerning food security in the country. Farmers has been lamenting the inability to access their farms due to bokoharam menace, banditry and herdsmen activites in virtually all parts of the country. This is about the main reason why there is food shortage in the country, as dood production has drastically reduced. Nobody wants to invest in Agriculture in a climate as this! |
morgstreme:Lol... I no dey measure pr.ck with people. People wey get real money no dey make noise. Hold your money make i hold my own. Enjoy your poverty in peace. |
Just minding my business... |
Bobodee09:You dey mind them? Give that lady 10 million naira and that shop will still crumble within a year. |
Babatindan:I marvel when i read comments like this... The senate is not his personal enterprise. It is the gathering of the collective representatives of the people of Nigeria. Democracy encourages dissenting views and when those views are presented, rigorously debated , then the higher votes win. It encourages critical thinking and brings out the best decisions/policies for the country. The other way round is the opposite. Dictatorship, where one man's will is imposed on all by force. Those suspended senators were voted in by millions of voters from their wards/constituencies and you cannot just dismiss them like that. |
morgstreme:If wishes where horses i guess... My father is way above you and your kindreds by a million miles. For me, i am millions of miles away from you and your your pitiable misery. Hold your leaders accountable. It is the first step towards progress! |
nonhuman:Non will be gotten from them. What ever happened to "touch not my anointed" ? The "anointed" ones on the move! There is sure a day of reckoning and it is arround the corner! |
helinues:Would you have said this if he singled out only the ibos in his post? You would have been silent i know. This goes to tell you all tribalists on this forum that you all should be careful what you wish others, it might come back to haunt you! I served in the North for years and yes they regard all of us Southerners as ibos. |
Fiscus105:Foolish you say? Lol You are not living with them You are not privy of what is going on in his marriage You dont know jack 2baba wears the shoes and knows where it is paining him He has decided and we should learn to live with that and respect his decision There is a reason when they coined the word "marital bliss" . Would you have preferred to have a breaking news where either one of them unalived the other or a similar case scenario of fighting and wounding each other? Marriage is not a do or die affair. The fool here is someone who is crying more than the bereaved and supporting a marriage where the the love has long been lost and gone! |
At the end of the day, your peace of mind and happiness is all that matters to you. When you stop listening ro what others say or think about you and your well intended actions, you will start enjoying your peace of mind. 2baba carry go. If only they know what you have been through! |
Congrats to her! |
AustineE1:No mind the op. The picture is not related to the news. They should learn robmatch pics with news on nairaland to avoid this type of confusion. |
They only made it clear not to link Ibos to the killings, just like many here on nairaland are already doing. That would be a grave mistake as Ibos wount take it lying low. |
Counterigbolies:Una no just get shame. How much is a bag of rice before he took over from Buhari? So people cannot criticize the government and tell them truth again in this country becos tinubu is president? I am a Yoruba man , but the way you people attack other tribes for saying the obvious is sickening. |
Why madness occupy today's front page on NL? Is today world madness day? Just asking out loud o. |
They should comb the road for IEDs cos they might have successfully laid some before being intercepted... More pressure! |
UkoAnnang:America is too lenient. They are the ones holding Israel back feom doing so ever since Let Isreal alone do the do. Total destruction is a guarantee! |
Incrediblekutty:Another weekend free data ![]() Pathetic! |
So the owner of the stolen goods will just loose 800k like that? The judgement get K leg abeg. |
P1PrinceKT:I am millions of miles away from the shores of Nigeria. I am just making a point. I am not in support of the killings. The security personels mounted on various check points should have intercepted them and the weapons confiscated or kept safe for them until they return from their journey if so. The security situation down south, especially on the highways is nothing to write home about, with incessant kidnappings, robbery and killings. So stop making baseless and unfounded allegations. I never supported jungle justice and killing of any one. This whole scenario could have been avoided. In case you dont understand my postion, please look for someone capable to interpret it for you. |
Why carry dangerous weapons up and down the country especially on our highways where kidnapping and armed robbery is rife? To think all these soldiers and police men mounted on numerous checkpoints from Portharcout to onitsha amd Asaba did not intercept them leaves little to be desired. Something is fishy somewhere. RIP to the dead and the executioners should be apprehended and dealt with accordingly. Say no to jungle justice. |
Destroyerofyeeb:Be careful of your utterances. It may come back to haunt you. The act should be condemned like well meaning Nigerians are doing. The security personels should be allowed to do thier work in apprehending the culprits. The revenge you are talking about is useless because you will end up killing innocent people who are not even aware of this incidence in the first place. Then the vicious circle would continue as no group of people has the monopoly of violence. |
Never4getU:Your spelling says much! |
More wins bro. In Nigeria, they will not celebrate you. They only celebrate bbnaija, half naked women with microphones and politicians who has questionable wealth. More wins bro! |
Goodluck Jonathan is the No 1 man followed by late Yaradua of blessed memory. The other one is just over hyped. All these are glaring even to the blind. |
