hello Lagos NIV, I am trying to come back home and renew my F1 visa through the Visa Dropbox. How do I go about it in Lagos? and what documents do I need to bring when coming back. Thanks |
why i am not seeing points like INFLUENCING others positively before 40,or being the solution for a problem the world or even your local community or society is facing.....All what you have just listed out here is the fallacy affecting you and some other nigerians that you must chase material things before people can regard you as being successful, which in a standard society is not supposed to be so,,,if for example MR A looks at your list and compare himself with Mr B,and he sees he is very far behind, the only thing that will take over his mind is how to cut corners(Kidnapping, money rituals, advance fee fraud etc) and gather this inconsequential things together...What shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and yet lose his soul...chase excellence and success will follow you...Achebe is being remembered today not for the houses he built, neither for being a member of any club, but he is being celebrated for putting his God given talents into Good use...Please lets refrain from all these mindset,,being successful doesnt start with a car nor driving license..The country is so bad that even getting a passport to leave the country is a thing of joy,and this mod thinks its a must have achievement!!! this is disheartening...... |
i just tell them according to company's standard..because some companies already have a benchmark for payment of salary at any level of entry.. |
and in most films na heart attack dey affect olu jacobs pass..lol[b |

AFTER WATCHING THIS IT so sad what a country with such bright prospects in the start have turned into ..THIS BRINGS US TO THE VERY SALIENT AND COGENT QUESTION......https://www.nairaland.com/1178137/should-nigeria-break-up... |
Capnd143: Sorry to say this bro,Break up? Are u smoking weed? Honestly speaking breaking up would have sound quite nice, considering the neferious activities of "islamist" but the facts remain factual... The political and geographical entity Nigeria if split will only trigger an algorithm of continous multi-enthnic seccessions and thus an economic, political and diplomatic disaster!!! .When something is not working out as planned,do you propose patching things up and moving on as in all is well when all is definitely not well,,in that case we are just shooting ourselves in the foot, even marriage counsellors advice that when things are not the way its supposed to be in a marriage(domestic violence and sorts),,then the earlier you opt out the better....PATRIOTISM runs a country,in a case where that is totally lost, then we have a big problem on our hands..Let the ones that share a different view about how their country can be run,let them take over the helm of their affairs.. The problem you highlighted equally reared its head in the formation of the Ussr, and even without even facing little of the issues we face, each of them went their separate ways, and they are even better of than they were before,a classic example is Czech republic, among-st others...The part that feels it is their birthright to rule, leave them and let them rule themselves, the part that feels they are being cheated out in the grand scheme of things, let them go and lets see how well they will fare, afterall with a determined mind and patriotism, there is nothing one cant achieve...You cant live and coexist peacefully with a man that your ideals and ideas are totally different..We have tried to understand one another but it seems whatever good anyone has will always be miscontrued into favouring his own ethnic group,,so what are we talking about in UNITY... If GEJ sends troops to borno with a directive like the one obasanjo gave on the ODI people in bayelsa, the north will claim the president is making a calculated vendetta on them, and by so doing we have more problems and political quagmire, and if he adopts a diplomatic move to solve the issue,,he will be termed as a dull president with no action....Please this unholy alliance should quickly be dispersed, for the good of all invoved... |
Is our breakup long overdue,or are we an entity sitting on a keg of gunpowder waiting to explode...Ironically 2014 will mark the 100th year of our ''HETEROGENOUS marriage'',which has resulted in countless sweet and sour tales for the nation at large..Images of coup, backstabbing, high corruption rate, amongst other vices are deeply mired in our shared history...Enough cannot be said of the Seccesion war that many still feel irked both by what led to the war and the outcome in general..The image of the nation has been inappropriately laundered by some fraudulent citizens hence earning us a dictionary entry word (NIGERIAN SCAM)...The future looks gloomy from the happenings of the past and the major wealth is been shared by a minute set of insensitive people...The issue of religion is also a topic that plays a prominent role in whether people deserve to live or not,,people take innocent lives all in the name of religion, and i begin to wonder 'Can we fight for God'..Religion being the opium of the masses has left many brainwashed and at the mercy of individuals that are business oriented claiming to be servants of the most high..And you begin to wonder at the level of poverty that has made people resort to miracles instead of working hard and then God blesses..N.B:miracles still exist ,but not taking paracetamol when you have an headache but you fast for hours hoping for a miracle in the fast to cure the headache, damn, that is something else....And all we are left of as reminders of our dear nation is a country that cannot fend for its citizens...then i propose everyone should go on his own way,,therefore implementing the Aburi accord in the full scale of things...Im Speaking as a detribalised nigerian..... |
Just thinking out loud... |
Judging by the controversial penalty awarded the Zambians, the NFF was livid and registered its complaints with CAF,but for me,i believe this is a reaction long overdue...No response was made to that classic victor Ikpeba's penalty, which cost us the Gold trophy. Our very own jay jay was denied the best player in Africa for a countless number of times, even though he was then in the peak of his career, and on those occasions he won the BBC version of the trophy,,and which was always a precursory to know who will be the winner of the highest individual award in Africa..No one makes a fuss when no Nigerian name makes the list of even the top ten best players in the continent, not even any of our stellar players both home and beyond..Our continued negligence of what other countries lobby highly for,has made us been seen as an inadvertent opponent in the general scheme of things. The past evidently plays a major role in determining our future,If considerable effort had been put into making our stand known in the past, the referees will be up and doing whenever it comes to officiating any match by Nigeria, and wont give flimsy penalties in any case...The issue of the pitch we played on cannot be compared to the type the Ivoriens played on,but that is a publication for another day...A whole lot of things have gone wrong by the nonchalant attitude that has been employed by the NFF in the past,,now that they are awoken to their responsibility,,i sincerely pray it lasts long....GOD BLESS NIGERIA... |

pls,i want to visit a relative in the uk,and what im i gonna need,,i currently live in georgia,,thanks. |
whether na buhari, babangida,or shagari,,nigeria problems all have something in common,,,northern leaders,,ruled for the most part, and yet, their region is still the least developed,,holding other tribes to ransom by their born to rule philosophy....God save nigeria, |
The us must have identified crisis prone areas,,and being the superpower that they are,the recruited igbos would be sent to contain any situation in the east,,and also the hausas.....maybe if there were any pointers of violence in the yoruba land, yorubas might be recruited likewise,,the upcoming elections might be one of the reasons for this move,,and considering the fact that igbos think its there time to rule,,and the hausas think its their birthright to rule,,we might be looking at a situation whereby our government wont be able to find solution to,,hence the precautionary measures taking by the us government. |
this is so sad,, |
