But they are already sick so treat with salt.

Prior took joining this forum i had bought a tarpaulin pond and ordered for fingerlings through the man i got the pond for. I paid him for 1500 1500 fingerlings at 15naira, since he offered to put me through in the biz as a first timer. But wat he delivered doesn't look like 1500,and when i tried to relate my dissatisfaction with him he blocked me from calling him. All this led me to finding this thread on nairaland so i could get advices from my seniors in the business. My fingerlings are 3days old from stocking. And from my analysis i have only recorded one death since i stocked which was on the day they were stocked. Please i also need like 500 more fingerlings to add to my stock to make up for the incomplete fingerlings that was sold to me. Please anyone with a good stock should please contact me urgently on 08102194949 so that they would all grow uniformly.

Fish farming is not all 1+1=2, so many variables, this was just one of your experience, you will meet more along the way, please don't buy more, though I have to sell but my advice to you is to take good care of the once you have already and learn along the way, managing tarpaulin pond is not easy as ABC, remember to take record of expenditure, no one get it right on first try, you have to master the art, look for ways to improve. One more thing, even the fingerlings you have will not grow uniformly, some will outgrown the others, please learn from this

Fishes seems to be picking something from the water that is not digestible, the water quality maybe good but with particles, install a filter to the tank

Thanks. I tried few juveniles in the water. They hardly eat and their skin peels. One of the fishes became bloated and stay alive but swim upside down.They were not responding well.I will take the water for lab test. Do you now any lab test preferably closer to satellite town or festac.

The cost of the galvanised pipe frame then was about 35, 000 or so. Some challengies as usual with anything you are new with: the most important was i was afraid the tank might leak. The drain point was initially set high as in the pic but after a few weeks i was bold enough to make another one lower down.
The tank is about a year old. Almost insignificant leakage, seams intact. With my frame, i can only fill two thirds of the way before it will seem as if it wants to collapse, SO FRAME STRENGTH IS KEY. Also make sure the plumber uses a hot round pipe to make the outlet holes otherwise the edges might be ragged and possibly a point of tearing. Just my fear though , no evidence!

wash it with detergent, then soak poultry waste in the tank for like 3 days or soak leaves inside the tank and allow it to decay

Not sure about the number of fish, because I'm just like you, I'm about to start still yet to decide if it's more valuable than the tarpaulin, but I'm certain is a 1000l tank.

You really can't activate GLO 4G sim, on the road, my advice for you is to send 4g to 400, when you are sure is a 4G sim go to their nearest office.
I had similar problem mine was bought from their office but not properly activated, those their cc knows absolutely nothing so it's waste of your valuable time calling 400
