Thanks you always helpful in technical issues on this thread, I went to their office today and the 4G mifi is blazing fast, I tried several configuration with their customer service guy,
Manual network configuration shows the 4G network but failed to connect only connect to the 3G network.

I'm and heavy user, I charged it once a day,
Though it charges very slow in contrast to my previous phone infinity note 2, but have similar battery life,
I'm using Kate, but you can get more screen time buy reducing the screen light

Xiaomi gurus in the house, which one do you think it's better.

Also I currently use a 2gb ram phone without any issues, will buying a 3gb ram phone make any meaningful difference? Or I should just stick to a 2gb xiaomi phone to save cost.

Though I'm not one of the gurus,
Would have to go for the note 3, because is what I'm using and very impressed
Of cause if you can afford it, it's advisable to go for the 3gb ram, cause only the operating alone would take a whole lot of space and would be very useful for future ROM upgrade

Yes that's true, even mtn doesn't work on all 4g enables phone, that's why I said their 4G enable phone, But Benin maybe different but it's not working in Warri that I can confirm

Actually you can buy directly with access, just make sure the account is approved for online transaction, as their limits is within your budget I.e 200 US Dollars

Anyways, since it's aliexpress you are lucky, look for a relative or a friend with Gtb or Uba account, fund your alipocket with 100Us dollars and pay the balance with your card,
Better still pay using access bank as their limits is 200 US dollars.

It's a great phone, you will be glad you did, I replaced my infinity note 2 with rn3 and it's an unbelievable upgrade, I enjoyed the remote control ability.
Just download the "xiaomi miui forum" app on play store and follow other users. Let the wait begins

Guys that are experienced in aliexpress shopping pls I need your help.
I successfully funded my aliexpress wallet and placed order for the items in my cart. I didn't get the message for Successful Order but the amount was deducted from my Aliexpress pocket. Under aliexpress pocket spent tab, the money was deducted for the items but the items are still under Orders awaiting payment. When I click on Pay now, I get payment unsuccessful message. I have chatted with Customer service concerning the issue and they promised to send me a resolution mail within 1-3 working days. This is the 3rd day I've not seen any mail. The money has not been returned to my Aliexpress pocket nor the Orders confirmed.
I'm so confused and don't know what to do next. I don't know what will happen if this issue is not resolved before the aliexpress pocket service is discontinued on 1st January 2017.
I need help

Honestly, I don't think you have any issues, there is already a transaction ID, just incase of next time only fund about 200us and pay the balance using your card,
Keep sending them mail for confirmation and also send those details to dream stores.

Please try the following:

First confirm that the model written at the back of the phone and at the back of the carton is 2015161.

Change your locale to Singapore, reboot and test the network

Insert another sim in slot 1 and move the Glo to sim 2. Try and see if you can connect to LTE.

Next, be sure you don't have a custom rom installed. If possible share the screenshot.

If you have don't have a custom rom installed and you haven't updated your phone to Miui 8.1 please connect to a WiFi and update. Please remove your sim and SD card before updating. After updating, please do a factory reset. After the reset, insert back your sim.

Abeg use the update solution as your last resort. I can't shout.

The phone came with 7.3.6, and I did OTA update to 8.1.1.0,
Would try and do as you requested but I've not cut the sim to nano,
Was a little relieved to see the Glo signal in manual search as my sis Informix zero 3, didn't have the Glo 4G signal, so it's definitely not hardware issue.

Make sure you subscribed to glo 4G and not 3G. You can manually search for LTE networks. You should be able to detect either Mtn or Etisalat or glo

I'm receiving the Mtn signal but the Glo data is more affordable and very fast in my end
