guys I noticed that when my phone is in 3g, it sometimes reverts to E and stays there.
the tecno phone I was using before does not encounter this.
if it's in 3g only it will never go to E.
how can I solve this problem?

Beware that glo network zapps data. The rate of Zapping is out of this world. It has been officially confirmed. Those bogus data plans are all fake.

Then remove that your friend or family member that is responsible for zapping your data.

Considering the price of data, GLO is pretty alright

Don't really think it has anything to do with the cost, most African countries actually used EU Socket.

I was having similar issues with you. I just dialed 400 which is their 4G customer care number. I told them I can't connect to their 4G and that I have a phone that supports band 28. The lady told me that they'll work on it that the fault is from their end. 30mins later I received an sms. I just rebooted my phone and 4G appeared. This was like the seventh time I called them and they promised to escalate the issue without success. The most important thing is to recieve the sms as shown in the pics below.

Though I'm currently in Benin, I'll test the speed when I get back to Lagos.

Which ROM are you in? When I was having issues with 4g service on my phone I did an instant upgrade via other to 8.1.1.0 then downgraded to 8.0.5.0, but didn't get and update via OTA again, so I changed location to India and after checking for about five times, I so the update, you can change location to any English speaking country if India didn't work for you .

Just finished two consecutive conversation with customer care, having quoted your sms both were quick to redirect me to their office that the sim is not a 4g Sim, yet sending 4G to 400 says otherwise,

I think you should quote the sms in the pix so that they know you are not a novice. You should also mention band 28. I even bought a new 4G Sim on the notion that the initial sim swap was faulty. I told them all these.

Some of them don't really know their job.

Hello, Please do you wait this long before it was resolved, it's more than 30hours now, since they ask me to wait for 48 hours while they investigate, or should I be calling customers care again till I fine the one with a know how?

No extra charges but at times if items purchase is too small exchange rate may sometimes exceed 320. But my 3.98US was charged at 320.

It's the Nigeria factors, wrong people in right places , I will just chill for the 48h, hopefully it will be resolved before then.

Just finished another conversation with customer care, it was difficult convincing her that the phone was actually provision for GLO 4G, anyways she has registered the complain.

Just finished a first conversation with a customer care guy on 400,
Says I should go back to their GLOworld office and complain about the 4G sim swap, that He is certain the line is not 4G enabled.

It happens to me on my Glo sim, luckily I intended to change my sim to a 4g LTE before, so after sim swap it works alright, you just need to change your sim.

Why yours is 7.3.7.0 to 8.0.5.0 ROM,

GLO is very stable in my location, that's exactly why I placed the order and it's in same store

Bro I believe it's network. Even though Glo says I need to change my phone, the phone is strongly glued to their network, I guess they don't have Xiaomi in their data base. Yet the phone works great.
I didn't even configure any APN on my own

Thanks for sharing, I've been tweaking my phone to make sure it works on their network, You won't understand what I've been through, I've been disturbing their service personnel, yet profitable outcome, now I feel calm and relaxed,
But what I don't understand is why their 4G modem working and clocking about 32mb/s

Your 4G with the 3G is just a minor differences.
