Celebrities / Is This Right ? A Pregnant Woman On A 5 Inch High Heel Shoes by danny212: 9:42am On Nov 08, 2011
Beyonce said a little 5 month pregnancy bump won’t stop her show. She was spotted pumping through the streets of NYC this week wearing a pair of Alain Quilici Payson 5 inch Skate Boots which retail at $1,180.

We understand the need to maintain your fashion sense, but what about your common sense Queen Bee. All it would take is a twist of the ankle for her and Baby Carter to be out the game. SMH

Or am I not making sense ?

Celebrities / Kelly Rowland, Confirms That Beyonce Is Expecting A Girl! by danny212: 9:16am On Nov 08, 2011
Queen Bey’s god-sister and former Destiny Child’s member, Kelly Rowland, confirms that Beyonce and Hip-Hop mogul, Jay-Z, are expecting a girl!

In a recent interview, the “Motivation” singer was asked what she would be buying the highly anticipated arrival, and she said:

“I have no idea what I’m going to buy Beyonce at the baby shower because Jay is going to buy that little girl every single thing possible. She won’t be spoiled but she will be very well looked-after.”

The notoriously private couple have remained mum on the baby’s gender, even though, according to sister Solange, they’ve known for some time now. Earlier in her pregnancy, which is her first, Beyonce reportedly voiced hopes that she would have a boy to play with nephew Julez --- Solange’s son.

MediaTakeOut.com was the first to break the news last month, reporting that Jay-Z’s sister, Annie, ordered a pair of custom Louboutin booties as a gift for her niece that take up to six months to deliver.

The bet is now on if the soon to be Princess of Hip-Hop Royalty will, indeed, be named Brooklyn Carter as declared by her famous father in his 2007 megahit, “Hello Brooklyn” featuring Little Wayne.

Foreign Affairs / Libya Elects New Prime Minister by danny212: 3:39pm On Nov 01, 2011
Libya's ruling National Transitional Council has elected little-known academic Abdul Raheem al-Keeb as the new interim prime minister to guide the country as it emerges from a bitter civil war towards a new constitution and democratic elections, Reuters reports.
With vast oil and gas reserves and a relatively small population, Libya has the potential to become a prosperous nation, but regional rivalries pent up during Muammar Gaddafi's 42 years of one-man rule could descend into a cycle of revenge.
Keeb, a professor of electrical engineering, will have to rein in the armed militias that sprang up in each town to overthrow Gaddafi and reconcile those remaining loyal to the old rule while brokering a new system to govern the country.
"We salute and remember the revolutionaries who we will never forget. We will not forget their families," he said. "I say to them that the NTC did not and will not forget them and also the coming government will do the same."
The NTC has promised to hold elections for a national assembly after eight months. The assembly will then spend a year drawing up a constitution ahead of parliamentary elections.
"This transition period has its own challenges. One thing we will be doing is working very closely with the NTC and listening to the Libyan people," Keeb said after 26 of the 51 NTC members elected him for the post in Tripoli on Monday.

Celebrities / A Tattoo Of 50 Cent On The Arm Of The Famous Gayle King Why ? by danny212: 7:27am On Oct 31, 2011
Gayle King is best-known for being buddies with Oprah Winfrey. But one person that you never quite thought would be in the mix of that notorious friendship is the rapper 50 Cent.

With the positions that Oprah has taken in the past against sexism in hip-hop, you wouldn’t think that she and Gayle would buddy up with one of the most offensive gangsta rappers in America.

Gayle took the time to show the press a tattoo on her arm that looks just like “Fiddy,” saying that she’d put the temporary ink on her arm as a joke.

“I was having a lot of fun with Fiddy … and I said, ‘You know what would be funny? If I got a 50 Cent tattoo on my arm!” she said. “So somebody came in this morning and did it.”

When the artist made a visit to Gayle’s show, she joked about how the two had met in Vegas and how he’d become a step father to her children.

“Can you imagine If 50 Cent and Gayle King got together, do you know the scandal that would cause? But how good that would be for you!” she said. All he could do was laugh, which is about all we’re doing right now.
