Are there no building engineers or even brick layers around you ? I think 3m should be enough to build 4 bedroom flat in the rural area especially if you are not buying the land. |

Black man mentality... Concession of defeat is now the major achievement of the out going president after more than 5 years in power hence they are using that to blackmail the incoming government and hoodwink the people. APC must not give in to any form of blackmail. The right thing must be done. |
May be he is trying to run a parallel government in Rivers state. |
Scrap aviation ministry also and allow the directors of the different agencies to do their things instead of appointing a minister who knows nothing next to aviation to be busy buying bullet proof cars. |
Going through the comment one can see how mentally derailed people. Some just say whatever the like just to few good. I think we need to put ourselves in people's shoes when judging them. . what has the killing of Benue people that has been going on for years under Jonathan's Presidency got to do with their voting for Buhari less than a month ago. People are making it look as if the killing stopped some time under Jonathan and suddenly started again after the people voted for Buhari, which off course is not the case, the Fulani as just doing what have been doing freely under Jonathan. For crying out loud, GEJ and not GMB is the chief security officer of the country for now and should take responsibility for the security failure leading to the wanton killing of innocent citizens... For those with short memories, let me remind you, Benue decided to vote for Buhari and his party because apart from the fact this very killing has been going on unbated under PDP, the same PDP government treated civil servants in the state with reckless abandoned. Salaries were not been paid for months, primary and tertiary institutions were on strike for close to a year, there is practically nothing going on in the state..The one who wears the shoe knows where it pinches... If you don't have anything humane to say why not just leave the people alone to lick their wounds instead of trying to make political game out of peoples pains. |
Reading some comments here you can see that some persons are just not happy for the mere fact that the whole thing has to do with GMB. Somebody said he trekked from Lagos to Abuja, whether it's true or not, that should be his business but some persons want to commit suicide for something that has nothing to do with their lives just because it has to do with Buhari... I think 4 years is too long a time for somebody to subject himself to unnecessary weeping and wailing... Why can't' people get over things and move on with their lives? |

The founding Fathers of PDP had the interest of Nigeria at heart when the inculcated rotational presidency into the system (though informally) because for now that remains the only solution to this cry of marginalization and conspiracy.. Every geopolitical zone must be given the opportunity to produce the President and also be supported by other regions or zones during their tenure by that every body will have the sense of belonging in this country... Many hypocrites said rotational presidency is undemocratic and that Nigerians should elect the best but when the election doesn't go their way they come out and cry conspiracy this, conspiracy that... When some of my Nigerian friends say, let's forget about zoning and go for the best, I ask them, who determines who is the best? The person you call the best may not be best to some other persons and when the majority rejects him you shout conspiracy... You cannot remove sentiments from human beings no matter what, and at the end of the day politics is a game of number and the one with the highest number of vote wins, whether you think he is the best or not. A President must not necessarily be a rocket scientist hence every zone in this country can produce one in the space of 24years. GEJ jeopardized the unity of Nigeria and the future of PDP when he set aside the rotation arrangement to contest in 2011 after the demise of Yar'dua and went on to contest in 2015 putting his personal ambition abobe the future of the party and the unity of the country. Ironically, the people crying conspiracy and marginalization today did not see anything wrong then and funny enough they are still not ready to see it not to talk of saying today rather they are bent on blaming every other person but GEJ, for the problem he caused... If Nigeria must be one, zoning of political offices especially, the presidency is key.. |
They should leave it for the next election.. 2019 is not far |
Bakare should focus more on his church... His church needs his sincere and undiluted gospel more than Buhari needs his advice... As for appointing technocrats Buhari already said that but no matter how we try to pretend, politics remains politics and certain interests must be put into consideration in doing appointments, however, the good thing is that there is no part of the country that does not have capable hands that can fill any position at the federal level. All Buhari needs to do is to look carefully. |
Igbos claiming victims of everything... South Africans are attacking all black immigrants and somebody is trying to weep sentiment and make ethnic point out of it in Nigerians... If I may ask, has the sitting President even made any statement on the said attack?.... |
The main factor that lead to the collapsed of PDP was/is the refusal of the party to sincerely manage the aftermath of Yar'dua's death and the subsequent emergence of GEJ as President... There was an understanding/ agreement that the presidency would be on two terms rotation between North and South but the death of Yar'adua which was not for seen by the party leaders brought an alterations into that arrangement... What I expected from GEJ and PDP was to revisit that aggrement and make some realistic and pacifiable adjustments to pacify those who felt short changed but instead of that some of them deny the existence of such agreement.... We began to hear things like, "let them go to hell with their born to rule mentality" "it's our turn" "power will never return to north again" "we are wiser now" etc . You don't rubbish the same arrangement that brought you to power like that... Politics is a game of number. You need the people in order to win election everywhere in world. When the G7 staged a walkout from PDP's national conference, GEJ had the chance of bringing them back to the fold but some persons asked him to ignore them because according them the governors had no political value and were liabilities rather than assets to the party... These myopic set of people were only looking at PDP ticket and they reasoned that if those governors majorly from north were out of the party GEJ would have no difficulty getting the party ticket. They didn't think of what would happen to the party after somebody might have grappled the ticket either rightly or wrongly. they were too blind to see that such mass exodus could finish PDP as a party.. They trusted so much in using the power of incumbency to rig elections but they didn't know that even as an incumbent you would find it difficult to rig elections in places where you and your are nof on ground at all.. I couldn't believe that somebody actually bought the delusion and arrogance that 7 governors among other high profile politicians leaving a political party was "good radiance to bad rubbish"... PDP was later reduced to a regional party for SS/SE, yet the chest beating continued..when it became very obvious to GEJ that PDP was nolonger the national party it used to be but a regional party for SS/SE that would not win at the national level even with rigging, election was already around the corner hence he had to shift elections and see how he would make in road into the south west and may north east but it was already too late and as the saying goes, the rest is now history... GEJ did not only lose election but PDP, the once largest party in African is at the verge of finishing (God forbid)... Obj did contribute to the fall of PDP, but more than that, insincerity, ego, hate, arrogance, insults etc destroyed our beloved PDP. The only road that leads to progress and stability is sincerity, fairness and respect. |
The Niger-deltans in general and the I jaws in particular have come to terms with the outcome of the elections and are willing to support Buhari for the betterment of Nigeria yet ibos would not let the sleeping dog lie... elections are meant to be won and lost and that was exactly what happened, so why can't these people respect the decision of the majority of Nigerians... These people didn't see anything wrong in the SE/SS voting for GEJ yet they see the Northern votes for GMB as a gang up against GEJ, what are hypocrisy! ... Nigerians have made their decision and even though there were irregularities in the election nobody can sincerely dispute the fact that majority of Nigerians actually wanted a change in government and that outcome of the election was a reflection of the will of the people... We must all move on and pray the incoming administration meets the yearning of Nigerians. |
Interior pls. |
Very poor analysis... |
Tunde Bakare should at least appreciate the people that worked tirelessly to make the much needed change a reality and stop calling them names... This same was made the running mate to GMB in 2011 and he couldn't do much to help him win the election.... GMB is certainly not going to work with angelic beings on earth but with human beings who would not be faultless... In addition, GMB's mandate is to take Nigeria from where it's now and move forward and not to look backwards... Nobody makes any meaningful progress by going backwards but by moving forward. |
Card reader has come to stay... Election Riggers should accept the reality that the era of allotting votes the way they like is gradually coming to an end. |
GEJ is now talking as if he didn't plan to continue.. He stop every other person from contesting PDP presidential primaries to pave way for himself... He spent billions of dollar bribing traditional rulers, pastors, entertainers, etc... He sponsored all sorts documentaries against GMB using AIT & NTA. When it became obvious that he was going lose election on Feb 14 he used security chiefs to postponed it in order to buy time and kill his opponent's' momentum... He rigged election massively in Rivers, Akwa-ibom, IMO, Delta etc... All of the above show GEJ desperately wanted to continue... |
Though FFK did a lot of harm to GEJ re-election bid yet I think he wasn't alone in that. PDP as a party did not campaign. Instead of telling Nigerians how they intended to improve on their performance, GEJ and his supporters were busy talking about how GMB imprisoned Ekwueme and Onwobodo, his certificate, his phone number, how he called Osinbajo, Osunbsde etc... They didn't campaign like a rulling party that had any to run on but like a typical opposition party... Now God has turn them into opposition so they have to remain there for at least 16 years... |
BuddahMonk:You are talking about merit and calling some persons dummies yet your few words write up is full of grammatical errors... If everything is about merit and brilliance then I wonder what would happen to people like you. |
DrLee:Did you read news at all? I read from this same news that Boko haram attacked some polling units in Gombe on Saturday. |
He is 33 and he got married 11 years ago, meaning he married at the age of 22... HABA!... Well as for breaking Ini Edo's, you cannot break a woman's marriage without her permission . |
What an irony? ... How can PDP be accusing someone else of planning to rig election... In any case, INEC should make sure the votes of the People count... |

Everything should not be about Buhari, GEJ and election .. Suspected Fulani herdsmen sacked 9 communities and are parading in the said communities in broad daylight without resistance of any kind from the security forces and nobody is asking what is wrong with the forces rather people are here shouting Buhari this,Buhari that! What if Buhari decides not to call the herdsmen to order, how does that stop the security agents protecting the lives and properties of innocent citizens in their own ancestral home or are we supposed to hold Buhari responsible for the inabilities of security agents to do their jobs? |
Sanusi initially claimed that 49b was missing and after reconciling the account, they said it wasn't 49b but 10b even though Sanusi did not agree with then... To say that Sanusi is a liar in this case is very unfair... The fact is that whether 49b, 12b or 10b money is missing and the president should be concerned about recovering the missing money rather than fighting Sanusi for pointing out that money was missing even if didn't get the exact figure... Nigerians should celebrate a man like Sanusi for his uprightness and patriotism instead of trying to crucify him for standing on the side of truth..... The Ministers of finance and petroleum should tell Nigerians why 10b ( which they accepted) is yet to be remitted and off-course they (finance and petroleum ministers) should be the ones to resign here and Sanusi (ie if there is need for resignation at all) . |
ceo4eva: Whether PDP or APC, it's still the same group of Selfish Politicians. Honestly, They are just trying to get UNDESERVED ATTENTION with all these Defections and Alignments . Are these lawmakers better off? They should show us an example by cutting their massive UNDESERVED allowances by half. TheseGuy, just park well... What exactly is your headache?... What point are you trying to prove? These people have been in PDP and today they have chosen to cross carpet to APC for whatever reason, so how did that warrant your rant and cry! Face your life and leave other people to do whatever they want to do with their lives provided they do not infringe on your right or contravene the law of the land, we are in a free world, so people (including) politicians are free to pursue their interest anywhere and any how the like provided they are within they confine of the law. |
For me University Education is almost free in Nigeria (ie public universities), i do not know of any other country where students pay less money than Nigerian Public Universities are taking. Even the private Universities are not as expensive as some people are making it to look like if you compare their fees with what is obtainable else where... Running a University is not a child's play hence its almost impossible for any government to give free university education to its people... What the government need to do is to make fund (loan) available for students and grant autonomy to the universities. Almost all the countries that practice the above system are doing better than Nigeria educationally and their citizens are not complaining of high fees because they have access to loan. |
Scam thing... Lover-boys, run for your life. |
Why is every birthday in the entertainment industry a surprise one! is it that the word surprise makes the occasion special or what? Somebody may even travel all the way from Nigeria to London for a well organised birthday party and turn around to call it a surprise birthday party.. May be the word surprise means something else in the entertainment industry.... Well, happy birthday to the celebrant. |

Na only money TY Danjuma get.
