Buhari is sure the right man to lead Nigeria at this critical moment of our nationhood... It must not be business as usual... Buhari must put an end to the practice where governors practically relocate from their States to Abj and be looking for what is not looking for them or chose to be following the president around why their states suffer... I think the task of governing a state is already enormous for a governor hence governors have to concentrate on delivering quality services to their respective states and leave the federal government for those that have been elected to run it. |
FFK, take note of your criminal case coming up in June.... Who knows, you might be leaving the court for kirikiri straight... So do the needful, by resigning from every thing designable and do all necessary hand-overs before it becomes too late..... Just my candid advice . |
Great write up! |
You need the light of change in your life. |
Nigerians and hypocrisy!... We all saw the voting pattern in the just concluded general election how Nigerians (especially core north and the old Eastern region) voted purely on ethnic line with little or no regard for competence, yet the same people turned around and asked APC to jettison zoning and go for competence, what an irony! What I think is that when a typical Nigerian talks about competence in political matters, what he thinks is that the people from his own side of the divide are they competent ones... If it goes their way it's okay, but if goes the other way it is bad. We must be sincere to/with ourselves and stop claiming to be who we are not. I feel politics is not about copying what is happening in America or UK. Every society/country should figure out what is workable amongst its people and practice it instead of insisting that what is obtainable in the US must be practiced in Nigeria when we know that we are different people. After all, "democracy is a government of the people, for the people and by the people". The whole thing is about the people, so if zoning is the system that suits Nigeria( and I know it is), then, there is nothing bad practicing it. I have always maintained that every zone/section of the country has more than enough competent hands for any position no matter technical or important it is, hence zoning does not necessarily breed incompetence. |
Fayose takes issues too personal. What concerns all PDP leaders should not be handled like a personal issue between Fayose and Mu'Azu. PDP governors have a forum and a chairman and if they want Mu'Azu to go, I think there a noble way to go about and not one person taking it upon himself to be attacking the man ceaselessly like a tout.. |
I think what Osun workers need now is not swags but their salaries.... Aregbesola, my guy, pls take note... |
Thank God, nobody is accusing sahara reporters of lying today because shallow minded PDP supporters are trying make gain out of it. If Obasanjo, a former president of the country on the platform of PDP was using his foundation for money laundry and conniving with Goodluck (Jonathan), to steal Nigeria's money and spend on Ghanaian's president, I don't know how that affects APC or Buhari or becomes a plus to PDP and GEJ. After all , GEJ was clearly implicated in the whole revelation.... Even as corrupt as Obj was, PDP governors went to prostrate for him in his house and begged not to leave them, GEJ sent several emissaries and went there more once personally to beg the man to forgive him and work for his re-election... Obj's corruption did not in anyway rub on APC nor take anything from Buhari's integrity and anti-corruption stand rather it confirms GMB's position that Pdp ran a corrupt Government for 16 years because GMB knew very well that Obj was an integral part of PDP's 16 years rule at the central when he said that. It means that Buhari knows, that Obj, like GEJ, is (was) corrupt and may probe him and some of his activities if necessary. |
This oba again? |
Lagos State should do something like that very fast |
sonofjos:What exactly is your point?.. Is somebody denying our fellow Nigerians that are on death row? It's high we told ourselves the bitter truth and stop pretending that is well while our people continue to deliberately commit crime in other people's land.. If know the rate of crimes Nigerians commit outside the shore of the country and the level of hate locals and other nationals have for us in foreign countries you will be ashamed to introduce yourself as a Nigerian anywhere in the world... The outside world sees very Nigerian as a criminal.... It's too bad. |
What exactly is going in Ogun state, always in the news for the wrong reason.. It's either they are rapping somebody or kidnapping somebody or even usking someboby for ritual... It's not like in other south west states. |
What advice do you want?... How to make love to your pregnant wife or how to stop being a Casanova?... Is your wife pregnancy going to be there forever?.. My sincere advice for you is that you cut off that yout "John Thomas", and get a life. |
Na who send her message before? |
CountDracula:Very silly comment... Must you comment?.. Must you tell the whole world that you are a fool or lack home training? |
Vorp:Did you read the post at all? Three of them are already members of the parliament and are now standing for re-election. Back to the post. These persons are not Nigerians but Britons. All, the same good luck (not GEJ) to them. |
Nice move.. I think Nigeria should also think towards same direction... We cannot be budgeting hundreds of billions for fuel subsidy while other important sectors are suffering... We have to make sacrifices by letting go of fuel subsidy and make more funds available to build infrastructures. |
Very educative |
Vvery bad...Lord have mercy! |
Debt hits 11trillion apart from the the fact that they finished our foreign reserve and sovereign wealth fund, plus price of crude oil was very under this government compared to what it was under previous governments... For me, this government is the worst thing that has happened to Nigeria.... , Buhari, sure has a daunting task awaiting him. |
Now that this Voodoo Economist is admitting that the country is broke is the right to ask some important questions. What happened to all the money earned when crude oil was all time high under this very govt? Both the Foreign reserve and sovereign wealth fund were depleted by more than 50b dollars, what was the money used for ? This government borrowed more than any other govt in the history of Nigeria, where did all the money go?... And to think that some persons wanted this same persons to continue at the helm of affairs for the next four years... What a country! What a people!! |
High blood can as well result from stealing too much money. |
Fayose is fighting too many avoidable fights at the same time; no man survives like that... A man who does not know when to retreat in the battle of life will surely go down. It's just a matter of time..... |
Tambuwal is from north west and not north East... As for zoning of key positions in the national assembly, I think APC will always do the right thing are right time. It took them time to nominate a running mate for GMB and many critics said many things but when they finally came out with one, it was a master stroke... Nothing late yet. |
Merlissa:Good to know. So are you also married... Just asking..... Back to the topic... The problem with too much fat goes beyond difficulty in finding some to marry you.. Its not healthy.. So our darling new wife still needs to hit the gym and work on her weight despite the miracle of marriage. |
Dangote should be thinking of how to reduce the price of cement instead of bothering himself with with Arsenal... If there is anything I wish now, it's reduction in the price of cement... the current price is damn too exorbitant. |
More pix please |
And that was the genesis of bombing in the country.... All shall be well. |
And to think that this thing made front page... Who is the guy? Well I can now see why there are too many silly comments on nairaland. |
How many votes did Buhari get from the South East that somebody is talking about how some Ibos helped him to win election? Zones that gave the man votes are not even showing theirselves like our Ibo brothers are desperately doing. |
And also a big hypocrite. |
