PoliticsRe: Farida Waziri Threatens To Expose Obasanjo. by danny301: 11:07am On Sep 12, 2013
The woman, Farida Waziri was very articulate and precise in her response to OBJ, yet some people are only insulting her without making points. OBJ said she was not qualify to be in that position but she has been able to prove beyond reasonable doubt that she was/is the most qualified of all EFCC chairmen as she stated her qualification, her experience and track record(s) as police officer and non of us have been able to counter that yet people open their mouths to call her names.... Contrary to OBJ's claim that Ibori brought her in as EFCC Boss the woman said she did know Ibori or meet him anywhere before her appointment and non of us have been able to prove her wrong yet people throw insults at her. She said she spearheaded the first prosecution in the his history of Nigeria as regards advance free fraud (419), and nobody disputed that, yet some people are calling her a liar... She said Efcc under her watch recovered the largest sum of money (loots) in the history of the agencies and non of the persons insulting her has challenged that. According her, it was the pressure she was mounting on Ibori that pursued the man out of the country before running into the hands of UK police and no body spoke about that yet some people said she was a failure as Efcc Boss. This woman prosecuted, Cecilia Ibru, Bode George ( these two were powerful individuals) among others...... With all the 'gra-gra' that took place when Ribadu was Efcc Boss, how many persons did they prosecute successfully?.... Now Larmode has been the chairman for the pass three to four years, can somebody tell us how many ' big guns' Efcc have prosecuted successfully under him?.................... Its very clear that many of us appreciate noise more than we appreciate records and facts............. Emotion and sentiment or hate have no place in intellectual discourse(s), Its on facts that count and that's what Mrs. Farida Waziri has done.... If you have no facts to dispute the points she have made just keep quite.

Don't glory in other people's predicaments. It is not a bad thing that these people traveled out of the country in search of better life. Every human being desires a better life and it's only natural go to where they feel they can have life. The least you owe this fellow Nigerians at a time like this is to sympathize with them and wish them well even as the return to their country and not to laugh in Greek or Hebrew.
PoliticsRe: Obasanjo - Atiku Is Corrupt, I Chose Him To Put Him In Check by danny301: 11:05am On Sep 11, 2013
Obasanjo talks too much and such does not epitomize wisdom that is usually associated with old age. Agreed, Atiku, was/is corrupt and so is OBJ.Apart from been corrupt, OBJ squandered the nation's opportunity to be great. He introduced thuggery into electioneering and had no regard for rule of law. Only OBJ lead Nigeria both as Military head of states and civilian president for about 12 years yet he did not bring any tangible change to the country... OBJ was practically broke when he was rescued from the chilly hands of death made president by Atiku and his fellow thieves but today he (OBJ) is a proud owner of a university among other multi-billion-naira investments, how did the magic happen? Nigerians need explanation............. OBJ wanted to amend the country's constitution to perpetuate his holds on power possible for life as he spent billions of naira bribing members of the National Assembly to have his way. These are the kind issues Nigerians want OBJ to explain and not Atiku's corrupt practices (who didn't know that they are all corrupt?). After presiding over the country for 8 year OBJ installed a man who was critically ill (and could not go on campaigns because he was incapacitated by sickness) as his successful. The greatest disservice you can do to any people is to give them the wrong person as a leader because leaders determine destinies, yet that was what OBJ did to Nigerians without any iota of remorse...... Today, the old man has the guts to talk about Ibori, as a corrupt man even when used Ibori's loots to rig Yar-adua into power............ Today OBJ would not allow the GEJ to concentrate in his service to the nation, he went about instigating some govs against the president and then turned around to say he was brokering peace. What sort of dubious character is the old man exhibiting? Yet some persons with short memories are praising this man as baba this, baba that,..... Is that what Nelson Mandela is doing is SA? Is that what Bill Clinton and George Bush are doing in USA?...... Old men are always careful with their choices of words but OBJ is something else he talks like a tout even at his age.
PoliticsRe: There Will Be Bloodshed If Jonathan Loses In 2015 - Asari Dokubo by danny301: 3:32pm On Sep 09, 2013
Hard-works and intellectualism are two things that bring people to prominence all over the world but i don't why is Nigeria's case different.... Hard-working youths have been relegated to the background only for criminals and University drop outs like Asari Dokubo to become heroes using crimes coupled with "OUR OIL" as their platform. These are people that do not have the intellectual capacities, skills, or certifications to legitimately earn fifty thousand naira a month but suddenly became billionaires, all thanks to crime and bad government.................. I'm not a fan of any politician neither do i have preference as which section of the country should produce the next president but i feel its insulting for glorified illiterates like Asari Dokubo to be threatening everybody, everyday......... There are many Nigerians who don't care whether there is oil in Niger-delta or not, they are living there lives and are surviving by there God's given talents and personal development...... There are many Nigerians who don't care even if the country will break into 20 pieces by this time 2moro...... They have trades, skills, wills, intellects etc to survive anywhere but what will become of people like Asari if/when there is no more "OUR OIL"and when Nigeria or whatever country they fall into at last begin to fight crime?.........Whatever will happen in this country called Nigeria let it happen, people should stop threatening us.
PoliticsRe: Oshiomhole Urges Students Not To Give-up On Nigeria by danny301: 11:36am On Sep 09, 2013
Oshiomhole is no-longer working in the Edo state the way he was working during his first teRM..... Is it that there is no more in the state or there is no more work to do?............ I think the proposed one term for president or govs would have been a good thing had it scale through because almost all the governors in their second term have stop, working all they do now is traveling round the world, and if they happen to be in Nigeria they prefer staying in/at Abuja and doing things they were not elected to do....... Nigeria need a generational shift in leadership, it's time for the younger generation to come forth and sincerely canvass for generational change in this country............. But, the big question is, how prepared are the youths to salvage this country from the imminent collapse staring at us...... Many of us are only engrossed in tribalism and sycophancy while our collective destiny is at stake..... Those in power are fighting with everything in there arsenal to remain in power while their friends who are not directly in power are using everything in their disposal to come, but its not because they have the interest of Nigeria and Nigerians at heart but because they want to keep on stealing our collective resources send their children to foreign universities, buy properties in foreign countries and keep part for their unborn generations .... Now, nobody is seriously talking about ASUU strike but meetings are going ceaselessly and millions, if not billions of Dollar changing hands to restore peace in PDP not for anything but just for few persons to keep on enjoying what God has giving to all of us while millions of Nigerians live below 1 dollar a day........................ Some call themselves APC, but they are same in all aspects except in their disagreement on who should be in power.......... They use ethnicity and religion to weaken us to their own advantages and their children in their early thirties are doing their 2nd if not 3rd degrees in foreign universities while you can hardly see an ordinary Nigerian youth graduating from the university before the age of 30 because of strike and the general frustration in the our educational system.... Yet, its these hopeless youths that go about serving as thugs in the hands of these politicians...... After sometime, their children will return from abroad and take over from them while you remain their servants, but these are people that if giving the same opportunities would not do better than you in any ramification of life......................... Its high time, we the youths of Nigeria demand earnestly to take over the leadership of Nigeria................I REST MY CASE.
PoliticsRe: Sen. Bukola Saraki’s Security Withdrawn by danny301: 2:03am On Sep 09, 2013
lwise: Senator Saraki wishes to re affirm his commitment and readiness to uphold the virtue of democracy, good governance, , rule of law, equity and justice even in the face of this present intimidation and harassment as those are part of the sacrifices we must all make for a better Nigeria we will all be proud of.

So bukola is talking about good governance, he is one of the worst governor that ever lived.Stupid, greedy and selfish idiota. cry
You left the main issue on ground and was talking about something inconsequential. Why did the police withdraw his security aids? I'm sure it wasn't because he was greedy and selfish and was the worst governor during his time as you alleged (at least the police authority has not given that as her its reason for withdrawing his security aids) . This man was elected by his people to represent them in/at the national assembly and he is entitled to personal security, if he has committed any crime that warranted the withdrawal of his security aids the people doing that should point it out clearly and also tell Nigerians how constitutional their action is............ We should learn to address issues without prejudice and sentiment............

PoliticsRe: 22 Senators Back Baraje-led PDP Faction by danny301: 11:13am On Sep 03, 2013
I believe GEJ is the calmest President in the history of Nigeria. He does not deserve the trouble he is facing presently. In my own opinion, the man has good plans for Nigeria and he is doing his best (even if his best is not good enough). He man should be allowed to concentrate on governance instead of troubles here and there. Kwankwaso,Aliyu , Ameachi etc, should
also concentrate on governing their states which is their primary assignments because as it's now, i doubt if these govs can spend 1 week at a stretch in their respective states. And having said that, let me say, that those playing ethnic and tribal cards are not helping GEJ, because i do not see how anybody can be the president of this present Nigeria without the support of North (hausas) and south-west (i'm not from any of the two zones). South-south/south-east that is the support base of GEJ put together is not up to the population south-west alone and politics is a game of number.GEJ needs every part of the country to be the President and for that to happen we must stop playing ethnic and tribal cards.
PoliticsRe: Confusion In Taraba Over Suntai's Resumption As Governor by danny301: 9:49am On Aug 28, 2013
The Suntai i saw alighting from the flight may not even know what is happening presently. I doubt if he can still remember that he was once a governor, let alone thinking of resuming office as a governor. It's quite unfortunate that that good governor is having health challenge that has rendered him incapable of continuing his good-works in Taraba State, then governance has to continue because the state is bigger than one man or even the few cabals that want to run a government by proxy.

Can some Nigerians think at all?
PoliticsRe: Those Against Jonathan's Second Term Are Mad - Tony Anenih by danny301: 11:19am On Aug 25, 2013
PapaBrowne: He spoke to PDP members not the general voting public. That reference is for the Primaries. And party things are different from general things.
And why should he speak to pdp members like that? Is pdp a south-south party or a national party?... Your defense is just too weak.
PoliticsRe: Those Against Jonathan's Second Term Are Mad - Tony Anenih by danny301: 11:05am On Aug 25, 2013
Tony Anineh is one of the canker worms that have destroyed this country. He was there virtually in all the governments whether the president was from north, south, east or west. He turned Edo State into his personal investment until Oshiomole came to destroy his stronghold over the state.Today instead of going to enjoy his loot he is busy preaching ethnic-ism in the name of Politics..... Why not point out the achievements of GEJ and ask the people to vote for him on the basis of that instead of preaching ethnic-ism?... If the only reason why the people of South-south should for GEJ, is because he from that region, then tell me why people from other regions or Zones should vote for him.... Tony Anineh, the acclaimed 'Mr Fix it'of all people should know that the votes of south-south alone cannot return GEJ in 2015..... People like Anineh, should just go and enjoy their money and leave Nigerians to think and do the right thing.
PoliticsRe: APC Is A Gang-up - Ekweremadu (Deputy Senate President) by danny301: 4:31pm On Aug 23, 2013
ol2012: Bros, a visit 2 Akwa Ibom'l perfectly answer ur question. U might not even need 2 get 2 d state capital 2 discover dis. D interesting thing about d state is dat despite d fact dat d gov. is in his 2nd tenure, massive projects ar stil being executed unlike what happens in many other states.

My submission is based on my personal experiences as I'v been 2 d state a number of times
This is quite a reasonable response and i respect you for your mature and civilize way of responding to issues but i like to say that only if Akwa Ibom and may 1 or to other states out of 23 PDP's States in doing fine, that is still a very poor result on a general note for the party. The old ACN has 5 or 6 states out of which we can mention at-least 3 that are doing well. Consider the percentage of 2 or 3 to 23 and 3 to 6 and you will agree with me (without sentiment) that ACN (APC) and PDP are not suppose to appear in the same sentence as far as performance is concerned...... I'm from a PDP State and every member of my family (except myself who does not belong to any political and in not in the country presently)is either an active member of PDP or its sympathizer but from what i read about APC Governors (especially Fashola, Amosun and Aregbesola) everyday, i will chose APC over PDP any time, any day.

It's only a simpleton like you that will conclude that whoever does not stupidly support PDP must be a Yoruba man or woman.Brainless people like you who lack the intellectual capacity to argue reasonably only hide under tribal bigotry to display your stupidity..... If you can actually read and comprehend you will discover that i have never been involved in tribal issues here. I'm not a Yoruba neither am i an ibo or Hausa, so leave out of your tribal madness.... As for whether i have ever moved out of Ogbomosho before, i tell, i have moved out of, not only Nigeria but the continent of Africa.

Are you by any way thinking that GEJ should be returned to Aso rock in 2015 unopposed or are you suggesting that Nigeria should beginning to operate one party system?...You don't come to the social network and insult people because they want to contest election(s) in a democratic setting regardless of your opinion about them.... PoliticsRe: Buhari - Only Death Will Stop Me From Contesting In 2015 by danny301: 11:58am On Aug 15, 2013
The problem with many of you in this forum is that you react to headlines and not to the details in the headlines. I have gone through the details and i can tell you that the headline is some how misleading. Buhari didn't say only him has the solution to the problem of Nigeria neither did he say only death would separate him from contesting 2015 election as captioned, rather he said he would remaining in politics and whether he would contest election in 2015 or not depends on the decision of the newly registered party.

Buhari stands shoulder high among all his equals in Nigeria as far as honesty or national interest is concerned but for his age and for the fact the World has moved beyond his intellectual capacity so he should support a younger and more up to date candidate for the presidency.

dridowu: Celebrating crime in nigeria is becomig normal now...................what a nation ? The Pastors that officiate the prog would still fail to say d truth
Some of you have problem with objectivity and sincerity. Ibori may be a criminal (and perhaps not the worst in Nigeria) yet he is somebody's son, husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin etc and such person(s) can thank God for his (Ibori's) life regardless of whether he is in prison or not and that does not necessarily mean that such persons are justifying his deeds but identifying with him even in the days of his troubles and that to me is sincerity on the part of his relatives and friends.

I'm sure Ibori is not worst than some of the politicians that some persons here are dying to defend and the fact that they are not as unfortunate as Ibori or Alamisie does not change the fact a their corrupt practices which are crystal clear are as bad as that of Ibori. President Jonathan's wife had case of money laundry when the husband was the Governor of Bayesa state but it was slept under the carpet and today the man is the president of Nigeria who some of you are ready to die for.Almost all the ex-governors and even serving ones are the same as Ibori.

As a a disclaimer, let me say that i do not celebrate Ibori or any other Politician in Nigeria neither do i have anything with any of them but i feel that if some persons feel like celebrating Ibori's birthday because of their relationship with him despite his sins and present ordeal, they need to be commended as true friends and not just fair-weather friends, after all, celebrating a man's birthday is not the same as supporting his evil deeds.

I don't know why many southerners are finding it difficult to accept the fact that good things can come out from other parts of Nigeria. They criticize almost everything happening in other parts of the country and justify their own obvious faults. They think every individual from the north or middle-belt is a dullard while everybody from the south a genius from birth..... How on earth will somebody say that the whole benue state cannot produce capable hands for just one medical college and that person does not think so of Ebonyi, Ogun, Bayesa, Enugu etc . I have had many course(s) mates of southerner origin both in Nigeria and outside Nigeria and i can say with all sincerity that, there is nothing special about them.......I believe Education or intelligence is more of an individual thing than of state of origin.
