My heart is beating so fast, beginning to get over worried, heart pounding and finger-bitting.17 working days now, still haven't gotten a reply. Lectures started last week. Can somebody please tell me what to do? |
Another week another week packaged with goodnews and testimonies in our mouth. May we all have a fruitful week as we await our visas in Jesus Name.Amen. Any update about tier 4 visas please? |
@wazobia2. Congrats. Happy for you. More goodnews are coming to the house. God help us all |
@maumi,wow,ur came out before the 15th working day.I submitted in the 13th,hopefully nextweek mine should be out. We all are expecting goodnew as you.congrats once again.God bless us all.Amen |
@maumi, congratulations. |
@darkroll. Yes,student can travel with a one way ticket. |
@justwise. Nice one there, thank you very much.well, she stayed 4 months at of the 6months that she was given. So you advice address the issue stated by the ECO? What of the first parapgh of the ECO's argument? What do u advice on that? |
@ Justwise,Scobby and every other house member.please I need your advice here. My cousin was denied a family visit visa,it was a renewal though, applied for 6months.she is currently going for lessons to keep the brain working whilst she await to write jamb next year. Here is the ECO's "You stated that you are currently a student and you have submitted a letter from DR Steven's College of Excellence in support of this. The letter states that you are enrolled in a JAMB preperatory class in the college. You have not provided any other documents in support of this, such as details of the class, whether it is a full time course, receipts to show that you have paid the required fees and the expected date of completion of your studies.I recognise that your sponsors proposes to bear the cost of your visit. However,I must take into account your personal circumstances in Nigeria when coming to my decision. The lack of supporting documentation leads me to doubt your circumstances are as stated on your visa application form. This also leads me to doubt your intentions on leaving the UK following your proposed visit. Therefore,on the balance of probabilities,I am not satisfied that you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor for a limited period not exceeding 6months or that you intend to leave the UK at the end of the visit as required by paragraph 41(i)and (ii) of HC395. Paragraph 2: The stamps in your passport show that you stayed for months on your previous visit to the UK.when you applied for your visa, you stated, that you would be staying in the UK for 3weeks,Whilst you did not overstay your visa.you have not provided any explanation as to why you stayed so long or what you did in the UK for this length of time. This casts doubt on your intentions in visiting the UK.Therefore,on the balance of probabilities,I am not satisfied that you are geniunely seeking entry as a visitor for a limited period not exceeding 6months or that you intend to leave the UK at the end of the visit as required by paragraph 41(i) and (ii) of HC395. Please kindly advice on what she should do next. Thank you very much everyone. |

@Umo77. We dey the same shoes.my school dey resume 28th.But God dey.Congratulations to everyone who has gotten their entry clearance, for those of us waiting,we shall rejoice like them, those yet to submit,God will make a way for you. God bless us all in Jesus Name.Amen! |
Amen ooo, I pray for sucesss and positive answers for each an everyone us in Jesus Name. Amen |
Yeah,@justwise. I did both.went for admin review and also decided to reapply.but verified before reapplying.wish us well.God bless us all.Amen |
@Sat.you can reapply whilst your admin review is going on. You can ask any vfs staff if u doubt.I advice u reapply, they take a whole lot of time to get back to u.the fastest is reapplying believe me. |
@lekepee Thank God for the Goodnews, Please how much does it cost to use an Agent? Yours was really very fast, I am very sure and strongly believe u have ur entrance clearance, God bless you! |
@sats No making a new application whilst your Admin Review is going on wouldnt cause any wahala. The only thing different is the money you paying for you application. So go ahead and make a fresh application. The date 27th for resumption is not a problem. so you as ur classes isnt starting that day. so go gather up your documents, a new cas number,a reference letter from you bank stating your account is a dom account, your own write up to clarify the entry clearance officer and any other supporting documents you think you can add to your new application. You added a new document alongside your admin review form, it is not accepted. They will review you case but any new documents attached wont be considered. Apply as fast as you can. May God bless us all, Amen |
Sorry about that.Sometimes these ECO's laziness to peruse documents leads to unjustifiable conclusion.their incompentencies nowadays is getting out of hand and that's very bad. How on earth would they think one would submit a bank statement of 5000 something naira which tantamounts to 23pounds.na wa oo. Well, you shouldn't of submitted any document alongside ur admin review form. I would advice you make a fresh application,do a good write-up to make it clear to them u its a dom account , get a reference letter from your bank to back up your bank statement, write to your school to request for a new CAS number.mind u u can't use the one CAS to make another application.Admin review takes a whole lot of time,so its better you make a fresh application buddie. The earlier u get all these things together, the better.Thank you |
@lekepee Thank you very much for encouragement. I pray you get your visa in Jesus name.Amen .Congrats to those who have collected their visas, God bless each an everyone of us in Jesus Name, Amen |
Hello my fellow members. Im good to go for monday to submit my visa application. My school resumes on the 28th of september. Im so worried about the time frame. Does this affect anything? Please Advice. I wish everyone that has applied for thier tier4 and waiting for response a goodnews and testimony and those yet to apply God will surely make a way where there seems to be no way, God bless us all.Amen |
You are welcome everybody. We are all here for progress and success. I have applied for an Administrative review, but i think that would take too long. so i have decided to reapply.Currently,im waiting for my new CAS to come from my tier4 sponsor. My school resumes on the 28 of this month, May God grant us all our heartdesires as we endeavour to do our very best, Amen NB. Please if your tier4 refuses to issue you a new CAS, please quote the aforementioned website and paragraph. They do not have any choice other than to issue you a new CAS. Cheers!!! |
Please,Anyone who wishes to re-applying,please note that CAS can not be used more then once. You must contact your tier4 sponsor to issue you another CAS. See reference below.Paragraph 27. http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/applicationforms/pbs/Tier4migrantguidance1.pdf |

@tboyjnr The Admin review is still on, havent heard from them yet. I wanna reapply and my school is starting up on the 28th of September. So can i reapply while the Admin review is still on?. No forged documents Man,that would attract you 10years ban man, no sane person would wanna try that |
Hello Nairalanders, Please someone who has applied for administrative review, can he or she reapply for visa? |
Please has anyone applied for an Administrative Review? what was the outcome? how were you contacted? Did they send you an acknowledgment letter saying they have recieved your request notice and your case would be treated ASAP? How long did it take to get back to you? I hope im not being inquisitive here. I just wanna know some facts. Thank you very much |
@ adeniyi7 Thanks for the advice. will do. God bless |
@Scobby. Amen ooo, God bless you my brother. I wish you the very best too |
scobyy2007 like u said, some reasons maybe ridiculous. What makes you think that the reason given to me by the ECO isn't ridiculous? |
I would not only fool myself here nor make me myself stupid. Im not jobless to come here an speak out an experience i had with the ECO. All i have written here were basically what happened. getting my transcript in seven days is not the issue. The issue here is the feedbacks i got from the ECO's based on my visa application. Femtopsy, you are right about the admin review. Thats the only option to consider. |
Hmmm, Femtopsy, I didnt touch the money in my account. The money in the bank account was intact through out the first and second visa application. The outstanding balance of 1800 was paid off through another means. |

@Lekepee The interval was just 7days. Cos I had to run to my school to pick up my Academic Transcript then i had to the school in the UK for another CAS number. cos a CAS number cant be used more than once. so after 7days i reapplied, which the reason why my first application didnt go through was that i didnt submit original certificate or academic transcript.i submitted notification of result in my first application and that is regarded as provisional original certificate and it is not accepted.I accepted the blame that i didnt submit my academic transcript or original certificate. for the acount,my acccount is very good.It wasnt more than 30days before i applied the second time. The ECO didnt base his fact on my account, he based his fact on not having sufficient fund for my maintenance and tuition. Can you imagine that? When on my first application i was awarded 10points for maintenance. The ECO that treated my second application failed to go through my CAS properly and also failed to refer to my previous application. He said he noted i have only paid 1800pounds.Whereas on my New Cas number, the school ameneded it saying tuition fee fully paid Im just confused. |
