Illegal structures are illegal and should be treated as such. Laws don't come with sentiment and emotion regardless of the government upholding it.

Ignorance is bliss in this country and the mediocrity of us Nigerians is just appalling, if you intend to buy a land or build a house, do the necessary due diligence, visit the bureau of lands at Alausa for proper investigation into said land and also get the right building approval from the physical planning and urban development Alausa to prevent stories that touch

Do not buy a land from baba Mulika who issues you only receipts without you conducting proper due diligence on said land you intend purchasing, also do not go ahead an build an illegal structure on said land and expect government to do nothing. A society without rules is a chaotic one.

We have a regulatory system in this country and anyone who does contrary to its rules should be punished. I support the demolition of those buildings and any other the government feels has infringed on its rules and laws.

Compensation or resettlement isn't deserved in this situation, we should learn to do things the right way.

The nature and policies of the job(surveying) in Lagos state makes all surveyors work with the Bureau, not all the registered alone, but all the registered surveyors hold regular meetings with the government.

Non-government surveyors. They already know they have to register it at the Bureau of Lands.

Is there an office where one can see this survey costs for different areas in lagos state? Without having to pay somebody or some agency. This information should be public really.

All these are there for verification at the Surveyor Generals office to see. You can walk in there anytime but it's still the road side surveyor that you still need for it.

Most times the Surveyor gives advice on this issue but the client feels survey can be done for any less amount. Lodged surveys have fixed varying cost according to locations and zones in Lagos state with the cheapest coming as high as 350k(came into effect as at April 1st 2017).

cut him some slack pls,what more can a Mugabe add to Zimbabwe that he hasn't done in 37 years. Mugabe may have been a revolutionary in the 80's when he came into power and commenced the seizing of lands from the whites in Zimbabwe but where has that left that country's economy in 2017? The fact is Mugabe is too old and not to strong again to keep that country together at a time like this since Zimbabwe entered prolonged economic crisis,the country demands another leader that will be in control,not one that wasn't elected like the wife of Mugabe has been doing in the background. Besides,the new president has to reach out to the west that Mugabe alienated and see how some of the restrictions on that country's economy can be lifted,they are really suffering in that country

The installed Vice President is another Mugabe in the making. He only used the military to take over power because himself as coveted the seat for a long time and won't get it if Grace is still in the corridor of power.

Whether he means well for the country remain to be seen in te nearest future. Africans love power too much and it's causing us problems.

In as much as military take over isn't good for democracy in Africa, Mugabe has over stayed his welcome in power and it has intoxicated him by wanting to make the wife his successor. it's a slap on Africans.
Promising the safety of the President and his family is just a cover up. He will be ousted and the sacked Deputy could retun as the president since he has the backing of the military and the war veterans.
