Thats nice. The last draw minimum was 447.
If your application was in,you would have a ITA NOW wink wink wink wink
Age and marriage isn't helping me even with 6 years experience and an Msc
CRS Score 439 though IELTS Score projected.
Hubby will need to write IELTS and get assessed to make 460
Please how often do they do draws.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Danoluwa(m): 1:59pm On Feb 10, 2017
AZeD1:
The last draw was 447 so if you were already in the pool, you'd have gotten an ITA since Jan 25th.

For those who have submitted, their applications, what did you fill in the P.O box column on the contact form?
Wooow, thanks. I have been focused on the study option.

If you like numbers, you could go radical and do an MSc in something like Data Science or Data Analytics. Data science is a really hot field that will be even increasingly relevant in the future. You don't have to stick to geology or remote sensing if you feel that the field is dying. You could also easily link data analytics to geology if you want (seismic and remote sensing data require lots of statistical processing to tease out signal from the noise).

If you are a good writer and if you have compelling reasons to switch fields, you can easily convince the VO about this switch.
Data science program examples:
MSc in Data Science & Analytics at Ryeson University
MSc in Computing and Data Analytics at Saint Mary's University
Master of Data Science at University of British Columbia
Professional Masters in Big Data at Simon Fraser University
Thanks for the info. I will work on the info you provided. Please can I get your email? Mine is Danfad04@yahoo.com

ok i'll get back to u, am also applying for my TRV nxt month, still gathering my documents, am a geologist too with m.sc from U.I (petroleum geology) and going for PGD at SAIT petroleum engineering technology, just same with my friend.
ok thanks. you can reach me on danfad04@yahoo.com

@Austinpee Are you saying another M.sc will be better than an advanced diploma.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Danoluwa(m): 12:45am On Jan 03, 2017
Eraytee:
I think i will disagree with you on that, i av a friend who's a geologist, and had msc in petroleum geology and presently at SAIT for a 2yrs pgd in petroleum engineering technology, he declared his msc and was given TRV. Every1's case is different, phd or msc is not a must, if u av a good SOP and and a tite app u'll get ur TRV.
I had lost hope. Please can you link me up with this your friend maybe I can learn some things from him. The way the world is moving now man must not restricting himself to petroleum alone that's why I want to broadening my horizon by studying remote sensing which is still very much applicable in geology.

please I have been considering Jathropa for quite some time now, but looked down on its potential. Please can you give me the coat detain of setting up on 1 arce. And please how is the market for the product.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Danoluwa(m): 9:48pm On Jan 01, 2017
pls gurus in the house, I am in affix right now. I have a bsc and msc in petroleum geology and currently not ready for a phd. I am looking at broadening my horizon as the oil industry does not have much to offer now. I have two option before me an advance diploma in remote sensing or a masters of engineering in geomatics (specialization in remote sensing). Which do you think is my best option.

Pls I need advice, I have B.sc geology and a Msc in petroleum Geoscience both from nigeria. I currently don't want to do a phd in petroleum geology considering the current sitiation in the oil industry. I want to switch to environmental management or geomatics. I am currently looking at applying to USASK and University of New Brunswick. I have a feeling the VO will raise a red flag at doing another Msc. I am in a fix. Pls can the guru in the house advice.
I have tried searching through and I have narrowed down my options to MBA programs, environment and sustainability programs (Usak and Western Ontario) and Msc eng geomatics (New Brunswick). For the environment and sustainability masters, having a previous M.Sc is required. Gurus in the house please advice. SOP is key now.
