@sisi_kill,
Please do not misunderstand me.I did not mean disrespect, I just felt masculism as a topic needed a seperate thread.
You know that masculism as a movement was started as an answer to hard core feminism.
Masculism tries to provethat all men are NOT rapists or violent as negatively stereotyped by feminists. Masculism tries to prove that women are equally violent towards men in relationships but that when men complain such complaints are treated with levity.
Violence has no gender. We have violent women and violent men.
We are derailing, so masculism deserves a thread on its own.

ileobatojo: Rotfl!!

And these are the caliber of people the OP has backing him up? Bwahahaha! grin

Like I said, empty barrel…..

Next please!!!
Ileobatojo,
I thought you said I am the same person as the OP, a while ago? Suddenly I am one of his backers.LOL!
The gibberish you posted made no sense to me that is why I am requesting you put it in English.
The OPs request is simple enough but alas eight pages of cyberspace latter non of you paper weight fake feminists have been able to answer him properly.
Posters like sisi kill and bukatyne have even made an intellectual effort even if flawed to explain their points logically.
On the other hand you Ileobatojo have spent this thread as usual throwing insults like a coward and showing how much an intellectual Lilliputian you are.
I suggest you read up on the subject of feminism properly and stop misrepresenting the movement.

ileobatojo: This re*tarded question has been long asked and answered. Only someone who lacks common sense will believe that this daft question by the OP is a good one. Anyway, since you appear to have problems counting up to one, let's give it another shot. Perhaps practicing your counting has made you perfect. Meryl Streep. Married since 1978.

Now here's a list of prominent and divorced non feminists:
Katy Perry, Madonna, Demi Moore. Add to that list of divorced non feminists probably the majority of divorce in Nigeria both celebrity and non celebrity.

Which leads me back to my question to the OP (or any of you other clowns that wants to answer) that you swooped in to rescue him from answering.

Can you set off this "intellectual debate" by providing proof of your opening statement and the premise for your thread?
English...speak English. huh
Dinachi and co....From your postings on this thread, it is safe to conclude you guys are anti-feminist, yes?

May I ask a huge favor....please go read up on Masculism and the Masculist Movement. I'd love to read your thoughts on it.
Why not open a thread about it instead of trying to derail this one.

PureOhio: Traditional benefits:
He pays the bride price.
He foots majority of the wedding bill
He pays majority of the bills (school fees, rent/mortgage, miscellaneous )
He gives his wife monthly allowance
When she gets violent, he can't do anything (she's only a woman, she's allowed to be emotional)
Etc

Most Nigerian feminists want these benefits (because it's the cultural and it's biblical). Like Ewuro said, eating your cake and having it.

Btw, if these are the benefits and things expected from a married man, in what area is equality needed ?
Thank you for this post.

ileobatojo: The most hilarious thing is that each and everyone of these long winded anti-feminist clowns have defeated their own arguments at some point. That's why it's so tedious and pointless trying to reason with them. They simply can't get their own stories straight. And that's just evidence that they're grasping at straws and have no real point. It's all a mindless knee jerk reaction to the word "feminist". No need using the brain at all. Just bark, bark, bark like a mad dog whenever you see the word "feminist".
Why don't you address the meat of the OP, instead of generally acting like a coward and skirting the issues by attacking people.
1.Show us ONE prominent feminist that had/has a successful marriage.
OR
2.Show us ONE quote from a prominent feminist extolling the virtues/benefits of marriage.
This is a simple enough task and does not require eight (cool pages of pussyfooting.
I rest my case, your honor, no more questions for this hostile witness.....

All those women are BUTCH DYKES.
The problem with wanna be feminists on these boards is that the do not even understand the aims and focus of a movement to which they hold dear.
Such paper weight internet fake feminists want to be dykes and still want to have some d1ck on the side. You want to be a feminist and still remain married? Fallacy of the century.
At best you ladies are rights activists and certainly NOT feminists.

bukatyne: Are you not defeating your own arguement?

If you have acknowledged that there is no single definition for feminism i.e. different intepretations, why are you all still putting all feminists under one umbrella? Why don't you ask them to define their own brand? Has it not occurred to you that the way everyone would inteprete feminism based on their experiences?

Everyone knows going to church late is wrong: some pastors will late comers to clean the surroundings; some would tell their members to go foe evangelism;some would stand outside the church; somewould tell them to pray after service; I even heard of a pastor that flogs late comers. Imagine I now decide to say all pastors are abusive because they flog late comers.

All extreme non-feminists are exactly the same with the extreme feminists
Okay, I get it now.

ME:Good evening, feminist Bukatyne, before we start our discussion on feminism, please which branch of the feminist movement do you belong to?
BUKATYNE:I belong to theAfrican/British/American school of feminism.
ME:Well before we start what we have come to do, I've got another question, do you belong to the extremist hard core school of feminism or the mild school of feminism?
BUKATYNE:Emm I think I belong to the extreme school.
ME:Do you belong to those who believe in marriage or those group that are against having anything to do with men?

And the questions can go on without an end if we go by this idea of yours. As far as I am concerned feminism does not mean what it meant in the beginning because it has been hijacked by a group of selfish women who will not rest until they see the down fall of every male on the planet.

Family › Re: Open Challenge! Show Me One Recent Notable Feminist Who Had A Great Marriage by Dantedasz(m): 1:49am On Dec 30, 2013
You would agree with me that there is no single concrete definition of feminism. Although feminism might have started out as a subtle battle for women's rights, it has since evolved into a movement that can not be defined. By this I mean each feminist group has their own definition of what feminism means. Where one feminists demands start are where the demands of another group end and where those of another set of feminsts end is where those of another set begin. Feminism in Africa is different from feminism in Europe or America. The problem of African feminism is trying to transfer ideas from Europe and America to an African setting.
In the end African feminist come across as women who are confused as to what they really want and come across as a bunch of angry women who hate and blame men for all their woes-thus attacking the family which is the foundation of the society and the country.

True.
However I respect such women more than the paper weight fake feminists who populate these boards eith their falsehood.
Wannabe feminists living under men in reality. Some of them are even in violent degrading marriages which they can not leave because they want to be Mrs Someone. The single girls claiming to be feminists on these boards are actually girls who have been in sad relationships that ended in disappointment hence their hatred of men and temporary relocation to the feminist camp until they fall for the next man who strolls along, then ite bye bye baby to feminism until the next episode of heart break hotel.
Hypocrites, all of them.

dayokanu: Question: WHat happens when a Feminist gives birth to a boy? Would she kill him
A real feminist doesn't want to give birth to any child-male or female. Why should she use her body as a vessel for carrying a foetus? What would the man be doing while she carrys a foetus for nine months?
To real hard core feminists there is no equality in her carrying a foetus for 9 months while the man is free to do what he wants.
As the OP stated feminism rallies against the foundation of the family and none of these internet fake feminists has been able to disprove him so far.

Dantedasz: 1. A real feminist would NEVER take a mans surname after marriage.
2.A real feminist would NEVER allow a man to foot a wedding bill-she would pay for it herself or have it shared 50/50.
3.No real feminist waits at home for a man to go out, work his back off and bring home the bscon for her to cook in the kitchen.
4.In short if feminism is about EQUALITY in marriage, our internet noise maker score a woeful F9.
You cannotvbe a true feminist and promote in equality-expecting a man to wed you, feed you, cancel your surname, and clothe you while you reciprocate by cooking , bearing childrenand looking beautiful like a trophy wife.
Where id the equality in that?

How can any body say Beyonce is a feminist?
Her rump shaking, crotch grabbing, bust shaking, raunchy videos are debasing to woman hood and are made to arouse the male interest in her music.
By the way I hope you heard that Miley Cyrus, who twerks to songs about women being ra/ped claims to be a feminist too.
Feminists are a confused bunch and in all honesty the word simply does not mean what it originally meant.

We should not really blame some of these women. The internet acts as an avenue for them to escape from the harsh and violent reality of their marriages.
On the internet they are anonymous and can play the role they really desire in real life.
In reality they are actually women who have no say in their marriages but are scared to leave because they want to be Mrs Somebody...
Same women are on these boards every day acting the role of toughies when they are really mice.

Interesting thread.
Why are people refusing to believe the OP is for real?
Is it becaude she is denouncing feminism as a waste of time?
I bet most of those against her would have been praising her to the high heavens if her thread was about the benefits of feminism.
