Elections were held in Edo,Ondo n recently in Lagos,there was a relative peace in all these states mentioned. Why Rivers now? I think d political class,d youths and entire masses shld check themselves there. D election is not about president but your own representatives. There can neva peace where gangsterism,cultism,millitancy are the orders of d day. And we will be quick to blame INEC if anything goes wrong anytime forgetting d kind of politicians n youth there in Rivers. Wat type of election do u expect where all these below materials were surrendered voluntarily? Wat abt those dat still hv multiples of those materials? Its not called REC but Returning Officer. REC is part of INEC while Returning Officer is an adhoc staff.

Chai!! Did u deliver a bloc voting pattern in 2015? As derided as GEJ was in the SW and as influential as Tinubu was, Jonathan still got over 40% in Lagos and other SW states. Not talking of Ekiti, which he won. Abeg, Tinubu is overrated. The last general elections were won and lost in the North. Simple.

Am not saying Tinubu is overrated or underrated but why did Buhari not win in 2003,2007 n 2011 with his influence in the north. Do u understand 2/3 of d states as enshrined in our constitition? Which means at least 24 states out of 36. Plus at least 25% in these states.

I am neither pro Tinubu nor anti Tinubu but all what i know from my little understanding of Nigeria politics is that: Tinubu is relevant in Nigeria politics. Call him a local champion,u ar not wrong. If he is not relevant,all these articles about him here and there wld not have been necessary.
Political parties in Nigeria have no ideologies. Nigeria politicians fight to regroup again to fight common enemy. To them politics is business and nothing more. Dumping Tinubu today does not mean he is no more relevant again. More will still come even from the north to ally wit him for another common interest.

My opinion is if politics was used to allocate,it can still be used to prevent reversal. Forget about Tinubu,Fashola,Ambode or d ruling party at d centre,our politicians can make any deal for their own interest. Its jst a matter of striking deal wit percentage and rest will be history.

Even with rain dat brings no thunderstorm,power still dey gidigba for my area.

In d last 2-3weeks,power has been stable in my area (Iwo,Osun State). At least we have been enjoying it for more than 18hrs a day. But in d last 3-4 days now,it has got to about 20-22hrs a day.
