I lived in South Africa for almost 5 years, and some South Africans will say you Nigerians are proud and criminals. I will say to them, your experience with other Nigerians shouldn't give you that conclusion. I remember on my Labour bed, I was crying and begging the nurses to attend to me, they were so reluctant. After the delivery, I smiled and said thank you sister(Nurses are called Sisters in SA) God bless you. One of them looked at me and said, You are different, i thought Nigerians are same. I replied her saying no. I am sure they felt sorry for their actions. So why condemn Christianity based on some peoples action?..... If Christianity preaches about love and doing good, why then do people still hate being Christians? 1 Peter 3:9 Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing Christianity is not a religion as people see it, it is a lifestyle. Not all who calls themselves Christians, lives as Christians. God loves you and wants you! He deals with us personally and not as a group of Christians. Personal relationship with Him is what matters. Don't turn your back on Him. Heaven is real so also is hell. Believe in God, for the time is now! |

I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray. As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as that anointing is real, not counterfeit- just as it was taught you, remain in him. 1John 1-26 There are spiritual leaders and there are spiritual destroyers Spiritual leaders: Preacher of righteousness, genuine children of God, teachers of the word, servants of God etc, who indeed we have seen power of God work in them and through them. Who our spirits (as children of God) bears witness to Spiritual destroyers: false teachers, accusers of spiritual leaders, ungodly men who lacks the power of God. How can one, who has no relationship with God believe in Him? How can they believe in the God who they have never heard? How can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach to us, unless they are sent? Hmmm! Our Spiritual leaders are those who God has put over us to lead and direct us, to teach us the truth and mind of God. He appoints them Himself but the sad thing is because of what we want to hear, we listen to the destructive leaders and follow their doctrines. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 2 Timothy4:3-4 Dear friends, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
