Armed bandits abduct farmer in Ekiti A farmer, Alhaji Jimoh Olodan, has been abducted by armed men suspected to be bandits in Iyemero Ekiti, Ikole Local Government Area of Ekiti State. The abduction came two months and some days after a farmer, Mr. Isaac Agbanigo, was abducted from a farmstead in Ikere Ekiti, Ikere council of the state. The incident, according to an eyewitness, Chief Ajayi Ogungbemi, happened at Elegure farm settlement around 11.15pm on Friday. The farmstead is about 15-minute drive from the community. Ogungbemi, who is the Babaloja of Iyemero, told journalists, on Saturday that the abductors, numbering 18, invaded the farmstead and whisked away the farmer. According to the witness, the kidnappers shot sporadically into the air before taking the farmer to an unknown destination. He said the gunshots caused panic, as residents, who had not slept when they came, fled into the bush, while those sleeping quickly woke up and fled. Ogungbemi appealed to the state police command and the Amotekun corps to expedite actions and free the victim from his captors. When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, Ekiti State command, ASP Sunday Abutu, said the police were not aware of the incident. “We are not aware, but we will ensure that we contact all the necessary units to ascertain the veracity of the incident,” he said. Also, the commandant, Ekiti State Security Network Amotekun, Brig Gen. Joe Komolafe (retd), stated that the corps had not been informed about the incident. https://www.sunnewsonline.com/armed-bandits-abduct-farmer-in-ekiti-2/ |
This is very commendable, how do I donate? my anger right now is that since the useless Benue state government have clearly shown they don't care about these Izzi community that were wickedly carved out from Ebonyi, why can't they just let these people return back to their kith and kin in Ebonyi? Where are the Ohaneze and other elites? Igbo leaders are just so useless honestly. Lastly Nigeria will continue to suffer cyclic failure for its malicious policy against Ndigbo, they carved our people into non-Igbo states (Rivers, Benue, Cross river, Kogi ) just to reduce our landmass and population, but God pass them, I'm glad more and more of our brothers outside the SE who were suffering from identity crisis are now waking up to the growing Igbo nationalism. |
6 soldiers, one person killed as security operatives, ESN members clash in Abia LATEST NEWS By Michael Ovat | Awka On Jun 13, 2021 SIX soldiers and a member of the Eastern Security Network (ESN) have been reportedly killed in Abia State. Sunday Tribune learnt that the reported death resulted from the heavy gun battle between soldiers of the 14 Brigade, Army Headquarters, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Barracks, Ohafia and gunmen in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State. It was also gathered that the fierce exchange of gunfire between the gunmen and soldiers had caused an exodus of residents and indigenes of Elu, Amangwu, Ebem and Amaekpu, Ohafia Local Government Areas from their respective communities to neighbouring villages for the fear of being caught up in the crossfire and a possible reprisal from the soldiers. Unconfirmed reports have it that six soldiers and a member of the Eastern Security Network (ESN) had been reportedly killed in the exchange of gunfire. Residents of the affected communities were said to have sent a distress call to the senator representing the area, Orji Uzor Kalu, who doubles as the Senate Chief Whip, and other political leaders from the locality. A source that spoke to journalists on the condition of anonymity, stated that there had been panic flight by the male youths in the area, for fear of being indiscriminately whisked away by the soldiers and other security agencies, who might not be able to prove their innocence in the crisis. The male youths, the source added, were fleeing to other communities pending when normalcy would be restored. Army spokesman, Captain Dauda Illiya could not be reached as at the time of filing this report. While the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, SP Geoffrey Ogbonna, could not confirm the report. According to Ogbonna, he was yet to be informed of such development in the area. https://tribuneonlineng.com/6-soldiers-one-person-killed-as-security-operatives-esn-members-clash-in-abia/amp/?__twitter_impression=true |
Abagworo:These clowns don't know what went down in Eleme community, ask any Rivers person what ESN did to those herdsmen, I won't say more than this. |
Cc: OyigboUpdate The MAIN reason why dirty Fulani bororo boys never bend your mama and sisters for inside farm to f**k them for nyansh na because of these boys you're denigrating... nobody wants to stay in the forest under harsh conditions eating sugar cane and peanuts, but necessity makes a man do impossible things. These ESN guys are the reason why most communities in Rivers state are free from the terror of Fulani herdsmen (ask any honest Rivers person about Agbonchia Eleme community and what they suffered in the hands of herdsmen until ESN flushed them out). Don't get me wrong, I don't support their attacks on security operatives if at all they are the ones doing it... but always look at things from the bigger picture instead of always rushing here to post rubbish just to get views on your useless blog. |
Nbotee:You're wasting your time on those depraved losers, Yorubaland could be burning today with an army of Fulani bandits wiping them out, but they will be on Nairaland and Twitter looking for IPOB or Kanu to trend with. |
This should be on Frontpage |
This is a yoruba community in Kwara, wahala dey ooo |
We the Igbos also stand with our Middle belt people in their time of crisis in the hands of the Fulani barbarians. We shall overcome this pestilence together!

This one go pain the yeribanza "we the South South" fake crew ![]() |
And other Igbos proudly wearing the green white green to represent Nigeria, even carrying the flag when they win major trophies will feel about the Nigeria they proudly represent...we saw how Ndidi and Iheanacho proudly displayed the Nigerian flag when Leicester won the FA cup, the narrative from the usual suspects was that Ndidi and Iheanacho are "not hateful like IPOBs"... but do you really think they don't see the same level of hate you display to Igbos who don't even support IPOB as much as you do to the ones who do? I wonder how they will feel in the privacy of their homes when they see how a whole government and its people unapologetically finds ways malign their people in public. The irony and hypocrisy of it all is that the same people that display this morbid insensitivity and hate towards Igbos will be the among the crowd of cheering Nigerians screaming "GOALLLLLL!!!!" when Iheanacho, Chukwueze, Paul Onuachu etc score a screamer in a major tournament... it must be very tough to represent a nation that resents you so much at the global stage. |
gidgiddy:The attack happened in Benue not Ebonyi, while I'm not exonerating Umahi for his stupidity and weakness, the blame should go to the Benue state government for not doing enough to protect these people... they've become an endangered population and its very necessary these Izzi people are carved back to Ebonyi where they are supposed to be rightfully. |
JohnSin97:They are the social media justice warriors you love to hate cause they have been bursting the dirty Igbo-phobic narratives of you bastards, God punish you there Tueh! |
DiagnoPolitics:Nwanne God bless you! Yaribanza are not actually that smart a people, don't let their claim of sophistication fool you |
Who will be so insensitive and daft to even come up with a threat at a time like this when there's so much volatility and tension nationwide...my guess as to who made that inciteful Twitter post (with the approval of Buhari of course) are in no particular order :- Femi Adesina Garba Shehu Tolu Ogunlesi This alone should keep Ndigbo on their toes as to which people are truly their enemies in this sh*t-hole of a kwantry.

If I wanted to go full psycho mode now, I'll save all these pics to use as future reference against the idiots who think they can mock Igbos with photos of dead UGM, six soldiers were massacred yesterday along Wetheral rd in Owerri... you can't win against a determined group especially if they go guerilla style on you... Las las it's innocent youths on the streets the useless soldiers will pick up and as usual brand as "ESN"... while the real "ESN" are killing you like rats. |
I'm glad yoruba Christians are waking up, the weakest link in the SW for Fulani hegemony will always be the yoruba Muslims... |
theTranslator:Are you aware more yorubas have died from herdsmen attack this year alone? if you will talk about Ebonyi, more deaths have been recorded in Ibarapa, Ogun, Ondo states. |
theTranslator:The Ebonyi Killings was a cowardly hit and run attack against unsuspecting okada men along the border communities in Ebonyi, surely you don't expect ESN to be everywhere at once when we are supposed to have a governor? Are you aware the people of that community that were attacked rejected help from ESN and preferred security from the vigilantes who failed to protect them? and whom do you think flushed out residues of armed fulani bandits from Ebonyi state after the military failed to show up? if not for ESN we will still be hearing about incessant massacres in Ebonyi like is the situation in Benue, or even a refugee crisis like the yorubas in Benin Republic. |
pezeji:It's in the post, Lawrence Marqueze Patterson |
BSdetector:That should be the least of his worries, at least he wouldn't have to be wary about his head or organs getting harvested for ritual purposes. |
AntiAPC2023:Are you ok? |
Hundreds are been killed in Benue almost on weekly basis and Gowon - the progenitor of One Nigeria is yet to say a word about the genocide going on in his own backyard... or is he quietly sulking in remorse over the *One Nigeria" he wasted millions of lives to preserve? |
Uteghe:You don't need to tell us what your mumsy is up to ![]() |
The East will be next, and that Nsukka border with Benue will be the gateway for a massive invasion... We've seen what fulani violence can look like in places like Ebonyi and Nimbo already, without ESN it would have been WORSE... whom do you think flushed out the fulani barbarians in Ebonyi and Uzo-uwani communities, aliens from space? Are you guys aware there were series of heavy gun battles that ensued around that Enugu/Ebonyi border between ESN and determined and heavily armed fulani bandits? the military and police were no where to be found in the heat of the crisis and the governors were all talk and no show as usual... lots of fulani bandits were killed and some ESN operatives also lost their lives, but at the end the fulani bandits were flushed out... that's why you've not heard about any fulani attacks anywhere in Enugu and Ebonyi since the last major attacks two months ago... ESN is going no where, without these guys we are bleeped in the East, who will protect us? All we can ask for is for ESN hierarchy to cease attacks on the security forces cause they are not our immediate threats for now, they should lay low, re-strategize and revert back to the original template of securing our remaining forest landmarks still under threats. |
YouWillNotWin:That's why I stated ESN should stop the attacks on security personnels and revert back to defending the East from thr fulani hordes that are fast surrounding the South... I just saw a thread about a heart-wrenching genocide in Benue where people were slaughtered in one day, and then I realized how bare and exposed the East is (remember Enugu shares a common border with Benue) and Enugu has in recent years experienced its fair share of fulani attacks, for years the people of Enugu were exposed and unprotected, the useless governor preferred to cry and call for fasting and prayers while his people were been massacred (remember Nimbo)...ESN came on board and did a thorough job is considerably chasing out the fulani savages especially in flashpoint areas like Nimbo, Uzo-Uwani, and Nsukka areas... if not for ESN which security outfit would have confronted those armed herdsmen? same in Ebonyi where ESN had to come in and flush out the herdsmen after the massacres in Ngbo communities... bro I could go on and on, right now every region needs a stand by militia since the Federal government security architecture has been seriously compromised and weakened...just like Winter, the Fulani hordes are coming, and they will leave tears, death and destruction in their path. ESN is going no where, we've crossed the Rubicon already and there's no going back. |
What a daft thread, this is war and of course there will be casualties on both sides...or do you think those ESN guys signed up to bear arms just to sing "Kumbaya Lord?" it's killed or be killed, so it's all about which side of the struggle or ideology you decide to pitch your tent with. Although personally I think the ESN hierarchy should re-strategize and revert back to the original template of protecting our forests and borders like they were doing with some remarkable success. And are you even aware ESN was just formed around December of 2020, yet no less than 200 Nigerian security personnels might have perished in various open confrontations with these ESN operatives... and to think that ESN don't even have 1/10th of the weaponry and logistics of ISWAP yet have decimated your military/police so badly should scare you, now imagine if they acquire the level of sophistication like ISWAP... |
The best part of this report is that the army officer was beaten to death. |
