Politics / Where Is "Jack" Gowon by dared0637: 5:11pm On Aug 25, 2021
The darling and puppet of the British and the Hausa/fulani North... the man who enthusiastically masterminded a genocide on a select group of people just to keep his "One Nigeria" paradise... his people are now been ethnically cleansed on a daily basis by the same people he slaved and bent over so hard to please, why is he yet to make a statement? is his frail old self now crawled up in abject misery, agony and regret at the "One Nigeria" he and his middle belt people fought so hard to preserve?

Last last the Northern Christians and the South will never receive sense, until Fulani militias wipe out your generations while our leaders keep kissing their asses for political favors and crumbs, just because you want your tribesman to become president on the Fulani mandate, you're ready to sell the destiny of your people? maybe... just maybe the next generation will correct the madness and disaster we've unwittingly created for ourselves. I thank God I stay abroad, far far away from that ghoulish madness called Nigeria.

Gunmen kidnap four farmers in Ekiti, demand N50m ransom
Agency Report
6 July 2021
Kindly share this story:

Gunmen1.fw

Some suspected gunmen have kidnapped four farmers in a farm located in Ekiti, demanding N50 million ransom to secure their release.

The Police Command in the state on Tuesday confirmed the kidnapping of the four farmers but denied knowledge of the N50 million ransom.

The latest incident was coming barely a week after a traditional ruler, Oba Benjamin Osho, the Eleda of Eda Ile, in Ekiti East Local Government Area, was kidnapped, with his captors demanding N20 million ransom.

Sources said the latest victims, the farmers, were kidnapped on Monday evening in Ikosu Farm Settlement in Ikosu-Ekiti, Moba Local Government area.

Commenting, Mr Olawumi Ayodeji, Manager of the farm, told newsmen in Ado-Ekiti on Tuesday, that the abductors had made calls, demanding N50 million ransom.

When contacted, Sunday Abutu, the Police Public Relations Officer, said the command had deployed policemen to comb the sprawling forest region surrounding Ikosun-Ekiti up to the Kwara border.

“We are not aware of any ransom being demanded from the family, rather, our men are in the bush working hard to rescue the farmers

“We are working, in conjunction with the Amotekun Corps and local hunters.

“We believe that with the level of security measures we have put in place, we are sure that we will rescue them, and probably get the perpetrators of this dastardly act,” he said.

Crime / Gunmen Abduct Bus Passengers Close To Imesi Ile In Osun by dared0637: 11:09am On Jul 06, 2021
Gunmen abduct passengers in Osun

Three days after rumours of an attack by criminal herdsmen forced parents to hastily withdraw their wards from schools in Osogbo, Osun State capital, gunmen have abducted yet to be specified number of persons in Obokun Local Government Area, LGA of the State.

The sad event occurred on Monday afternoon when a commercial bus conveying the passengers was halted at close to Imesi Ile area of the state.

The Nation reports that the commercial vehicle from Ekiti was going toward Ikirun through Ila road when the gunmen waylaid it at Odo-Osun and took passengers to a nearby bush.

A security source said the gunmen shot severally to force the vehicle to stop before all the passengers were whisked away.

Another source said volunteers of Kiriji Heritage Defenders, Hunter’s group and the police were combing bushes where the passengers were abducted.

The DPO of Imesi Police Station was said to have joined in combing the forests.

The Director-General of Kiriji Heritage Defenders, Dr Ademola Ekundayo, confirmed the development. He assured that volunteers of the socio-cultural group were on the trail of the abductors.

Spokesperson of Osun Police, Yemisi Opalola said: “I have not been briefed. I will get back to you on the matter”
It would be recalled that normal activities were disrupted in Osogbo on Friday following rumours that criminal Herdsmen were abducting students from schools. The State Government in a statement assured residents of adequate protection.

Politics / Nobody From The Core North Will Ever Rule Nigeria Again by dared0637: 11:45pm On Jul 05, 2021
Let Buhari be the last of the plagues from the core North that will ever come close to power, and any Southern politician who will go behind out of some blind loyalty to the core North (we know these Southern politicians) to sabotage the interest of the South and Middle belt must be SEVERELY dealt with.

Going forward come 2023, when that lanky dullard fuccks off to his bandit-ravaged home state in Daura, the South must act decisively on the collective mandate of the Southern governors that was agreed today in Lagos that a Southern candidate must be president of Nigeria in 2023, come what may. Personally, I don't even care any more which region in the South the president must come from as long as he's not a Buhari loyalist, cause we know these are the duplicitous elements that will kiss the arse of the North and sabotage the interest of the South... every and any Northern slave regardless of his ethnicity or interest must be treated in the language he understands.

Lastly, the rotation of the presidency must be signed and agreed that after a Southerner finishes his tenure, power must be rotated to a North Central (Middle belt) minority candidate as those ones are not as barbaric and bigoted as the core North, essentially any person(s) from any of the Southern Kaduna, Benue, and other Christian minority tribes from the Middle belt will be president after a Southerner finishes his tenure, and the rotation continues in that order.

If the core sharia Northern states want to unleash war, then let them bring on that war, we've tolerated enough of insults and arrogance from those desert-dwelling savages who are naturally beneath us in all ramifications and indices of life.

If he's a Southerner (and hopefully not a Northern lackey) will be very instrumental in handling the Biafran and Oduduwa Republic agitations with more tact and diplomacy... That's why more than anything else, we MUST do everything possible to ensure that nobody from the North comes anywhere close to that presidential seat come 2023...at this point I don't care which part of the South the candidate will come from, that president must follow the Buhari ethnic blueprint by appointing predominantly Southerners into all key positions in government... but no FULANI should ever snell power in Nigeria again in any capacity. The question however remains, which candidate from the South has the big hairy ballz to dare the North and call their hegemonic bluffs?

Politics / Villagers Flee As Herdsmen Threaten Attack On Ogun Community by dared0637: 4:12am On Jul 04, 2021
Residents of Olokemeji village in Odeda Local Government Area of Ogun State have fled their homes for fear of possible attack by killer herdsmen.

Our correspondent gathered that suspected killer herdsmen allegedly killed one of the residents of the village during an argument with the herdsmen.

It was gathered that the villagers held a herdsman after his cattle destroyed their farm, but the herder called his colleagues, who allegedly invaded the village and killed a resident.

The killing of the resident reportedly provoked the villagers, who poisoned their farms, an action that reportedly led to the death of some cows.

This development reportedly angered the herdsmen, who allegedly threatened to return to the village and attack the people.

Our correspondent gathered that this threat had made the villagers flee their homes and deserted the community for safety.

Schools have also been reportedly closed in the community.

Confirming the situation, the Transition Committee Chairman, Odeda Local Government Area, Bola Lawal, said the incident happened five days ago.

He, however, said the leaders of Fulani herdsmen in the state had met and asked the herdsmen not to attack the village. Lawal said other stakeholders, including the security agents, had held a series of meetings to forestall any attack.

Also, he said the governor had been informed of the situation and swung into action to nip the crisis in the bud.

When contacted, the Organising Secretary of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, South-West Zone, AbdulMumin Ibrahim, also confirmed the incident.

Ibrahim said his people were attacked by the villagers while returning from Oyo State after they had left their homes in the village during the dry season.

He said, “The incident happened last week. I was informed that our members were returning to the village. They had left with their wives and children for Oyo State during the dry season.

“When they got to the boundary between Oyo and Ogun states, they were attacked and their cows were killed.”

Ogun State police spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the situation had been brought under control.

He said, “The people are just being apprehensive. In fact, the police are there every day and there have been meetings between the residents and the Fulani with police.

“The villagers killed some cows and because of that, they are apprehensive because of a possible attack.

“Apart from patrolling the village every day, the police are also combing all the bushes in the village because hoodlums could be hibernating there.”

“The police have assured them of security. The Fulani herders whose cows were killed have held meetings with the local government chairman and they have reached a compromise,” Oyeyemi added.

Please answer this very honestly with every shred of conscience you've still got left at least

Between Nnamdi Kanu and Sheik Gumi who really poses a bigger threat to Nigeria right now? before you even answer that question, let me breeze in another one...how come the FG can put all its resorces in getting Kanu extradited but can't arrest a known bandit/terrorist apologist and advocate like Gumi who negotiates the same bandits slaughtering and abducting thousands in the North? something doesn't add up but one thing is truly clear, the South is really conquered whether we want to accept it or not.

Sunday Igboho is blessed knowing he's been protected by some top SW elites that's why he can still do what he's doing with no fear of been sabotaged by the yoruba leaders like is the case with Kanu... unfortunately for Kanu the Igbo leaders save for a few completely sold him out, I fear a more radical and militant leader might now emerge from the East.

Politics / Hoodlums Return To Lagos-Ibadan Long Bridge, Residents Raise The Alarm by dared0637: 4:34am On Jun 14, 2021
Hoodlums return to Lagos-Ibadan Long Bridge, residents raise the alarm

Respite is not in sight for motorists and commuters plying the Long Bridge, Ogun State end of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, as hoodlums have continued to launch attacks on users of the road.

PUNCH Metro learnt that despite efforts by the police and the surrounding communities to end the scourge, including hiring vigilantes and installing solar-powered lights on the bridge, robbers still found means of dispossessing people of their valuables.

The Long Bridge is a five-kilometre bridge stretching from the Warewa end of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway to the OPIC/Kara end of the road.

Hoodlums have been known to hide under the bridge and attack people after their vehicles break down or there is a traffic jam, especially at night and early in the morning.

After robbing their victims, they sometimes club others and leave them for dead.

Some others have been kidnapped on the bridge, including a bus driver, Ahmed Adepoju, who was abducted on March 5, 2021, after his vehicle broke down.

Our correspondent gathered that the usual victims were residents of the host communities of Arepo, Warewa, Banku, Mokore, Arigbede and Magboro.

“She actually had a fuel gauge problem and so didn’t know when her fuel ran out. She was lucky to get a known face from Aribido with a motorcycle, who helped her to buy fuel.

“As fate would have it, as soon as the fuel was poured into the tank and the engine started, out of nowhere, some Fulani herdsmen (from her description), appeared and one opened the driver’s side door and lunged at her with a dagger, trying to stab her. Thank God for his goodness, she said she didn’t know how she dodged the descending knife by mere inches and stepped on the throttle at the same time as she sped off to safety. She didn’t stop until she got to Matrix fuel station before she could get herself together and catch her breath.”

PUNCH Metro learnt that the writer craved anonymity for security reasons.

Another resident said there had been an influx of some people from a particular region of the country, who were settling around the Pipeline Road, Unity Estate, Arepo.

He said the migrants posed security threats

A former Chairman, Journalists’ Estate Residents Development Association, Phase 1, Arepo, John Ajayi, said two attacks were reported to the security committee last Wednesday.

He noted that while one happened around 1.30pm, the other occurred around 6pm.

He stated, “The Long Bridge has become a menace to people living in that corridor, particularly those in Warewa, Arepo and Magboro. We have made several attempts to stop the attacks. We even went to the extent of building a house for the police at the Warewa Division. We also bought patrol buses for the police. But the police are not well equipped and their number is not sufficient. They don’t have enough men to patrol the bridge.

“Recently, a concerned resident donated some equipment to be installed on the Long Bridge so that we could have the place illuminated. Despite this, the bad boys continue to operate there. This is because under the bridge accommodates them. They usually jump out of the place to attack motorists. As it is now, we are in danger and we are afraid.”

He asked the government to station patrol vehicles on the bridge and secure the lives of users.

The President, Arepo Residential Community Development Association, Mr Bode Adefolu, confirmed the attack on the female motorist, adding that the security situation on the bridge was a serious cause of concern to residents.

He noted that the community was searching for experts, who would install proper security lights on the bridge.

“We also need to increase the number of security patrols on the bridge. We have employed 10 security guards already, five during the day and five at night. But we need more. On June 11, the Police Community Relations Committee approached the Ogun State Government to assist us with Amotekun, which is part of what we are looking forward to now,” he added.

A senior police officer at the Warewa Division said the police got a report of an attack on the bridge last Tuesday.

The officer, however, noted that the hoodlums were repelled.

“There is no high incidence of attacks on the bridge as claimed,” the officer added.

The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said detectives had been patrolling the bridge on shifts.

According to him, there has not been any official complaint for the past three months.

“We know how many people we have arrested on that bridge and those who have lost their lives during exchange of gunfire with our policemen. Our policemen are always there to ward off any form of attack in that place,” he added.
