I bought my bb 9800 from a friend and apparently d OS wasn't genuine. I found dis out when I cldnt find appworld and then I cldnt install apps using d browser either. Worse of all is dat d phone keeps rebooting, sometimes even continues in a rebooting loop. I took it 4 repairs and d guys flashed it. All seemed well but then it started again. What do I do please?

I am not surprised at Mr Jona's cluelesness. He never contested for any post in his life. All he ever got was luck for himself and badluck for others involved.

talking about the debates, he said he was going to attend the NN24 debate 3 days prior and it was clear that the other candidates were attending. but then just a day before the debate he released a statement pulling out stating the fact that all the other candidates were not invited. were all the other presidential candidates invited for the one he attended?

talking about the FOI bill, I believe its his ploy and that of his cohorts to make sure it is not signed before the elections. the FOI bill signing has been in the news for so long now, why won't he sign it or just tell us what is wrong with it!!!!

All was going well at the PDP Presidential rally in Katsina until President Goodluck Jonathan took to the stage to give his speech. From the very first statement he made, noise erupted in the background, people shouting him down with curses and some as much as swearing to stone him.

His speech was a short one though as tension began to grow on the grounds and the PDP entourage had to leave in a hurry. As they left crowds hurried towards the President's car still raining curses at him and it took the intervention of security personnel to dispel the attackers.

It was threatening to get even more violent that the NTA had to end transmission abruptly.

For years, this man was the only preacher I would set an alarm to see his program on Tv. Then came the issue of preachers and their practices. He then clearly twisted (which was a lie) the comments he made about Buhari during the vice-presidential debate. Now this?!,

I honestly hope this man goes through this elections with his reputation intact.

Very interesting propaganda, atleast if not anything it should excite the GEJ camp. Please let the EFCC, the national assembly and the office of the attorney general of the federation begin urgent investigations into this matter. Remember the efforts Aondoaka, farida, ibori,saraki etc made just to send Ribadu to prison but got nothing only trump up charges that he did not declare his assets, the man is as clean as you can get in this clime he is different. We know the Jonathans, how corrupt they are, husband and wife . Contender Pat Utomi: Justice Ayo Isa Salami of Appeal Court should be made to head an independent probe panel aimed at investigating how President Jonathan got his PhD. Said presidential hopeful Pat Utomi after stepping on the Debate podium with the vexation of hurricane Katrina.

Jonathan is the most underperforming, uninspiring, un-innovative and unproductive PhD holder I’ve seen all my life added Utomi. Jonathan is a living witness to the collapse of our education system Utomi said further to the amazement of the Debate audience. Utomi has readied a proposal to Senate aimed at making sure that henceforward all presidential hopefuls should be made to undergo an ‘Idiot Test.’ An Idiot Test will help in stopping stupid and moronic contender from making Aso Rock. Owning a PhD certificate and whatnot is one thing – to perform and stay away from corruption as the president of Nigeria is another thing altogether. Anyone can present a certain Toronto, Disney Wonderland PhD certificate to be an officeholder in Nigeria yet he might be a very functional illiterate or outright idiot. Jonathan has not impressed Utomi that he merited the tall certificate he parades on daily basis since he came to office. The president has not shown independence, brilliance, leadership character, focus, gut, and excellence to match the billing of a PhD holder. Nigeria would be ruined beyond description if you give Jonathan another four years toing and froing with our destinies with no fix direction to steer Nigeria. Vote for me! I’m most qualified Utomi announced with a loud shout that quaked the Debate hall.

Pat Utomi pointed at President Jonathan where he is seated and told him that now that he has sent Niger Delta militants to Ghana to learn hand work. It’s high time Jonathan starts sending PDP governors and their other persons to Ghana to learn how to accept defeat as ruling party. The opposition won the last general election in Ghana while the then ruling party sportily accepted defeat. Tell me, how are Bakare and his CPC different from Ciroma and his Northern zoning cohorts who see leadership as a means for tribal, sectional and parochial interests? He asked and at the same time said: Nigeria must outgrow politics of selfishness and voting against the Bakares of Nigeria is clarion call. Jonathan added. Nigerians know Jonathan too well about saying the right thing but not walking it up. And, with dirty characters and crooks surrounding Jonathan, the Debate audience were of one mind that the president is endangered specie that’ll vanish from Aso Rock this April via popular votes against him and his party. True, progressives have been outraged by Pastor Tunde Bakares’ claim that he’d be forwarding Southwest politics as criterion – a catalyst for primitive and low politics that has raced Nigeria to the bottom since 1999. Debate participant were unanimous in calling for Bakare to eat his word and do amends before damaging the good reputation he has built for himself these years. Jonathan’s preachment made many in the audience sentimental that some have started thinking of Bakare as a ‘theological conservative’ but, only as a creeping or passing remark. Not that anyone there sees Bakare as a fraud, far from it.

Just as Jonathan started cursing the ‘gang-up’ against his presidential ambition that has the hands of ‘God’ to it, there was bomb scare! Boko Harem people, it was rumoured had mined the Debate hall the previous night with explosives in a duet with Niger Delta militants.

Nigeria is too dangerous nowadays – that we fear terror would overpower this coming election. The moderator said in mourning mood, as he urged everyone to evacuate the Debate arena. Bye all! He hurried away for his personal safety.

I need u to understand that Nuhu Ribadu has been placed in position of leadership at the EFCC, and in the Nigerian Police (which led to his recommendation for the EFCC) and his record remains impeccable. I believe that is enough experience to lead this great nation and working alongside him is an equally great man in Fola Adeola. THEY DESERVE MY VOTE.we need a change

WE WOULD NOT HAVE PDP AGAIN. THEY HAVE DONE ENOUGH!

Well, I know most of us, even the chronic and ardent followers/Supporters of the GEJ team would respond to this topic "GOD FORBID!". But even the thought of that sends shivers down my spine. I can't even explain how much the thought of it scares me.

The Yar Adua Administration that took over power prove themselves to be a weak bunch. It wasn't because Yar Adua or Goodluck are bad people, you all would agree with me that they came in through the back door, ADMITTED THEY DID, and still continued to move with those people that forced the back door open for them to go through. Ever since, major crisis have arisen, sects, old beefs, corruption of the highest order.

Obasanjo actually came out to say that if there is an election, PDP would win. Put in his right words "we cant have an election and not win".

Here's a little hint, voting in PDP again is giving this monster a long life. You vote PDP in, the man would be around to ensure they win again and again.

If you vote the PDP in, then you won't have any right to complain that your children cannot stay in school for 3 months without going on strike.

If you vote the PDP in, then you wouldn't have any rights to complain about school fees, prices of commodities, unemployment (I'm sure I have a lot of witnesses on this one: after @least 18 yrs of Schooling + 1 yr NYSC), the list goes on.

Its in your hands. You will determine your own destiny for the next 16 years (I hope that's scary enough). Vote PDP in, and mortgage your future and that of your kids, God forbid!

A word is enough for the wise. You will look back at this post and either smile or frown.

It's your choice.

Let's continue to avocate for change. Majority feel they will throw way their vote because they feel he is not as popular, I hope they saw from yesterday that the reverse is the case.

VOTE ANYWAY!

I was fortunate  to see the presidential campaign of Mallam Nuhu Ribadu of the ACN in Dutse, Jigawa State Yesterday and what was witnessed came as a shock to this campaign since it started.

The turn out was incredible. It was a mammoth and this man was literally mobbed by supporters. It is, from reports the largest crowd seen during the rallies that have taken place up to date.

The ACN presidential rally was aired on AIT and TVC live, as they were paid to do so but since it was aired at a time of the day when majority of Nigerians would be at work, I was expecting clips would be aired during the 7pm and 10pm news on major television networks. I was in for a suprise!

I got home early to catch up on the 7pm news but not one these major Tv stations SHOWED what happened at the rally. I felt it was still early and felt they would air in their 10pm bulletin but it was the same thing save for Channels Tv, known for their integrity who did their best by posting just a picture in the news. Not even AIT who showed the live broadcast aired in their 10pm news bulletin.

From reports making the round, the PDP where obviously shocked at the turn out so they were quick to make sure Nigerians did not see the highlights of what went down.

The transmission of the PDP rally was some minutes ago stopped due to the low turn  out of people because they did not want people to see how bad they are fairing.

I would like anyone who is going to be commenting on this to watch developments closely, on Tv channels, the internet and so on.

I am not an antagonist of other candidates, I know people who I feel can lead this country well but I have considered the  options we have and he happens to be the best we have of all three.

And for all those who feel Mallam Nuhu Ribadu is not popular enough, well now you know better.

Like I would continue to say, VOTE ANYWAY!

I was just speaking with a member of the Buhari/Bakare campaign and he spoke honestly to me that he has not come across anyone who has a valid argument against Mallam Nuhu Ribadu being the perfect candidate for President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He then stated that he is "on the Buhari/Bakare team because he feels they have a better chance of winning"

Should the fact that you don't feel a candidate can win stop you from casting your vote for that candidate anyway, even when you know that candidate has proven himself in previous positions of leadership?

Do you have a reason why Mallam Nuhu Ribadu should not be president?

@ Daresmith, U're right, Im an admirer of Ribadu but looking at the present realistic scenario, the Ribadu 2011 is weak. That's why I'm not voting him. You and I know he cannot get more than 20% of this country's vote. I'm voting on who is against corruption and who is more likely to win and that is BUHARI.

Did you see the crowd at the ACN Prsidential Rally in Dutse, Jigawa? That's a sign that it is possible since you are an admirer of the man. Let's do this together. Let's vote credibility.

Blazzin 99, I reckon you are an admirer of Nuhu Ribadu.

My questions are:

1.Will you be casting your votes based on how popular a candidate is rather than how well they have delivered in positions of leadership in the past?

2. What do you mean by lack of experience? Is this not the same phrase politicians use against each other to discredit an opposition?

Not all candidates are required to have served in the capacities of president or govenor in the past. If these were criteria then it would have been clearly stated in the constitution.

My advice to you is to cast your vote for that person who you feel can do well as the president, that is after you have weighed their antecedents and forget about popularity. we have had 'experienced' leaders in the past, the result is where our dear country is today.

Without being bias, what do you feel a true leader should be like?

Then you would do well to show or tell what you see on the other side of the 'coin'.
