We are talking reality here you are saying "what if".

From what he has played thus far he has not been able to add value to the team like Iwobi would usually have done. That is very basic enough to comprehend.

For a 72 Million pounds player he should be setting the EPL ablaze by now.
I know you're joking right??

If so, why were the fans so keen on seeing him out of the club?

You are funny sir. And please don't bring up the "because he is a Nigerian/African" or "because a black man is the scapegoat" because Aubameyang and Lacazette or even welbeck was in that team too

That we should wait for Pepe to spend 3-4 seasons with Arsenal before comparing him with Iwobi. For a player bought for 72Million pounds.

Well, why am I not surprised? undecided
What if Pepe scores a brace in each of his next 10 games? Will you still make the same comment?

The dude proved his quality with those free kicks. Please lets not be sentimental. Remember there was a time it looked like Osimhen may go into oblivion. We believed in him (because he is a Nigerian). What stops an Arsenal fan from believing Pepe would bring in the heat soonest?

Simply because u re a Nigerian,aw can u just conclude dt way,fine he's playing below expectations @ d Moment,DT doesn't mean he won't perform better later

Let him also spend d same period iwobi spent @ arsenal and now juxtapose d two players performance b4 concluding...
I agree with this

And okereke is back, he scores grin

A dip in form doesnt make someone bad

5 goals in 10 games is impressive
Good and I hope he continues

I don't want the average players we currently have to get too comfortable thinking Super Eagles is their birthright

He didn't deprive himself of anything? Do you hear yourself? See your mindset, are you in his pocket?

Your brother can not get you into Shell, whether he works there or not.
I know for a fact how rigorous their recruitment process is, especially if it is for a fulltime position.
There're companies that hire contract staff for Shell and others, that one is another matter.

If you finished within the age range for their engineering graduate trainee program why didn't you apply? Was your grade good? Did you pass the aptitude test, and their accessment day?
Their fulltime recruitment is centralized and done from out of country.

It's not a one man's business, you hear that he's helping people what kind of help? Do you know? Have you bothered to ask him?

You seem misinformed, you were all given the same opportunity i don't know why you seem so resentful and envious of him.
Shell is one company at least that you can get into on merit, people without connection do it everyday, it's not your brother's fault that you're an engineer that works in a hospital.
Oga, you sef calm down.

I have been reading your posts and it seems you already have biased mind towards the OP.

Maybe your experiences are shaping your responses but you are not in his shoes and thus you may not fully understand.

Instead of castigating the guy (in the guise of giving him advise), why don't you just seek to really understand the whole situation.

As for the OP, I am currently in your shoes and before some people ask if its because I am a leech, I am not. I hustled my way to where I am today but it is wrong for one section of the family to distance themselves from the others no matter the reason (to the extent that you don't even pick calls). If its Jazz your brother is afraid of, then I am sorry sorry to burst his bubble. If they really wanted to harm him, they could do so from a distance. They don,t need closure. You guys should just pray for him and aspire to be more successful than he is so that if it is money that is his pride, he would calm down a bit.

I wish you all the best. Prayer brings victory when other avenues fail

So effectively by implication what you are saying is that a boy who was born and brought up in Nigeria particularly from socio-economic deprived background.

Can easily shave off some years from his age and still be classed as U17.

If you had the baseline data used to make the deduction on then it very plausible if not easy.

Nonetheless all MRI scans are indicative can only determine degree of bone fusion and age range. Not your specific age.
Oga, I am not here for argument. Please read my earlier post and the discussion I had with Icon4s about the subject.

I am not in the mood to start arguing about player ages today please

Yes. However, I don't even think the Ogaga boy was the only player affected. I have a feeling that some players got there via bribery (if not connections).

Nigerian origin kids here are not small and skinny at age 16/17 they can contend physically with full grown men.

A classic example is Uche Ikpeazu at 17 this guy was already 6'3" with legs like tree trunks.
Exactly what I opined in my earlier post. Its the environment and diet that plays a large role over the size of our players

when was Eze putting in good performances and they invited Chidiebere? Was Eze not invited once upon a time, alongside Aina and Akpom?

Anybody we lose, I can never be disappointed. If he got lost, he was never for us then. I cannot waste my disappointment on people that always had us as afterthought. I repeat, we are not doing that badly, we won AFCON with a ragtag group of footballers that Keshi lined up, Nigerian football is on the rise, anybody that falls off should fall off. We won't miss them. There will always be new talent.
I am with you on this

But watch how these kids will metamorphose in the next 2-3 years and folks here will easily erase these memories and call them 30yrs olds. Some things one reads here sometimes. Some people do not cease to amaze grin
Exactly. Especially those ones lucky to make it to Europe with better living conditions and better feeding.

Trust me, they'll get bigger. Their epiphysis haven't fused yet.

Are Nigerians kids more malnurished than those tall Malian and Niger kids?

Me think it is more of a genetic than nutrition factor.
Genetics certainly has a role to play. And yes, Nigeriens and Malians tend to be naturally taller.

But what I am saying is that our players would have at least more bulk if they ate better

The Hungarians were really bossing our kids with size.

Even against African oppositions our U17 sides are usually small which takes us back to a question i asked Months ago. That why are a teenagers usually small?
Most likely malnutrition. You see, most of the U-17 guys are from the streets and from lower class homes where good nutrition is rare. Hence their stunted growth

What I mean is that it isn't advisable at all. Even for singles because after the party, you will most likely drive home drunk or high.

Has the Nigerian Army at any time ever deployed female soldiers to combat ISWAP in the North-east? And I am not talking about civilian JTF hunters ooo
