This topic has always interested me a lot. I used to search for an illusory purpose for my existence, but I've come to the conclusion that life itself is meaningless.

Over the years, humans have long sought to know the purpose of our existence here and where we go afterwards. From my point of view, we’re just another creation of the universe to keep her going. And there are so many others out there whom we may never reach until the planet reaches its prime.

In summary, I just cheated on my girl with a new friend who wouldn't let go.

She's aware of my relationship, but carries on regardless. She's a sweet one, but I feel bad for cheating.

Life goes on.

Right now I'm in my bathroom, unclad and looking at the man in front of me. A man who barely labours for anything, yet have many things in abundance. A man that everyone falls in love with, consciously and subconsciously.

I often wondered why I am different from most people. I am accorded respect beyond normal by old & young alike, leaving me speechless what they see in me.

My girlfriend wants us to get married, she's coming back from Europe in few months time, I declined to join her there, and she's returning back home for us, leaving me further speechless.

I've been called a dream, yes I'm a dream for so many, and in reality, I'm a dreamer because I see events in real life before they happen. And these events replayed, I'm always left dumbfounded.

Right now I'm dumbfounded, what shouldn't have happen just happened. My new friend is helplessly lost in me, I tried so hard to avert this one dream, but like others, it happened. I'm hearing her voice singing, she's so happy like she has won a lottery, but here I am ruminating on what I've just done.

I love my girlfriend more than I love her, in honesty, my new friend is the better one, but I can't leave my girl for her or anyone.

Not all Nigerian girls are materialistic, nor do they all expect you to foot all the bills. I have a friend who has footed many of our outing bills, paid thousands for event tickets, and we've had bills shared. We aren't even dating & she knows that I could afford to pay the bills, but would rather be part of everything.

In all these, I think growing up matters. People tend to get stuck with ideas and ways of life they were exposed to in their earlier years.
