Given tithing in the OT is far from the weightier things of the law, we should not have pro and anti-tithing jihadis.

I wrote and angry book 'exposing the tithing scam'. Then I thought really hard about whether such a non-issue deserves such fury.

Not worth it. Let believers tithe if they will. All I do is engage those close to me on the subject wherever and whenever.

And it gets a tad boring repeating the same arguments over and over.

Fact remains,
There is extremely weak exegetical basis for tithing in Christianity. The pro-tithing brigade make up for this by emotional appeal and blackmail and frequent extra-biblical 'revelations'.' God showed me','God said to me'......'how can you be so mean as to keep everything you were given to yourself?'

The anti-tithing gang overcompensate this by despising the principles that could be gleaned from the practice.

My high school uniform had navy blue trousers. Years in the uniform made me hate the color so much that I have only had one navy blue suit in my life and I gave it away years ago.

I've not tithed in a while but I still believe in tithing. To me, that is the easiest way of not loving money. The Bible clearly asks us to give, but how many of us ever give up to the amount of our tithes to the poor in a month. If you can, then good for you. If not, then I think you should give tithes because it will at least do something for someone besides yourself. Even if you don't earn much, always remember that nothing is too small in God's eyes. I don't believe Pastors need to blackmail the conscience of their congregation to tithe though. If it is not from your heart, then keep your money to yourself. Most people use money these days because there's nothing like burnt offerings anymore. Imagine if you tithe with yams, who is going to eat it?

Fourthly, you failed to accept responsibilities when things went wrong; instead of accepting responsibilities and take decisive actions, you looked on as if all was well. Why Abba Moro, Diezani and even NOI are still ending their tenure with you remains a misery because they should have been fired long ago.

Lastly, the difference between APC and PDP will be seen in leadership. Buhari will accept responsibility for mistakes and take actions to correct them. And that's where you failed woefully.
