waistaa: I had to travel to abuja to take the exam, the wicked centre director of abuja study centre, blatantly refused to sign a letter of introduction to enable me take the exam in enugu. Some of these Noun officials are just terrible. They will surely get what is coming to them. I will make sure i give the man a piece of my mind after writing the exams tomorrow. 2 Likes |

Please i need advise urgently. So my study centre is in Abuja, and i'm presently in enugu. I just got to find out that my exam starts on Thursday in the new timetable draft. Initially it was February it was to start. Is there anyway i can write my exams in enugu study centre. I'm aware i have to obtain a letter from my centre to do that, but its too late now. Traveling down to abuja isn't really convenient on this short notice. Is there a way around this? |

You can gain the knowledge you need to land that new job, advance in your career or even the project you are working on. I’ve put together a list of some websites where you can have access to free courses online that you can get started on today. Data Science and Cognitive Computing Courses: If you are interested in learning data science and cognitive computing skills, then this is where you need to be. First off, all courses here are free, and you get to earn badges and certificates for every course you complete. There are also built-in platforms that enable you get a hands on practice on everything you learn, along with sample data. They also have a mobile app. Udacity: Udacity provides free and nano-degree courses, courses here cut across a wide range, mostly IT related. Personally, almost everything i know about android development i learnt here. The videos and materials here are highly interactive, and there are enough hands on projects for you to work on to make sure that you learn effectively and practically. Coursera: Coursera is probably one of the most popular learning websites available today. They have paid and free courses covering a number of knowledge areas. Courses here are self paced, meaning you can complete them at your own speed, all you need is commit a few hours every week, and you are good to go. Alison: Alison provides over 1000 free online courses from the world’s leading experts in various fields. Most of these courses are tuition free. However you may need to pay a fee in other to get a certificate for a completed course. A fair deal if you ask me. All you need to do is sign up and get started. Phones / How To Share Your Live Location On Whatsapp by Datevilme: 5:41pm On Oct 26, 2017 |
WhatsApp has rolled out a new feature that enables you share your location real-time. This was shared on their blog Am sure all the “monitoring spirits” will be delighted with this development. What this means is that you can now let your loved ones know exactly where you are, you can also share your movement real-time for as long you want. The location sharing is end-to-end encrypted just like other content shared within chats. This development can actually serve as a security feature in more ways than one. Now imagine you are out, alone or perhaps with a crowd you are not too comfortable with. You can simply send your live location with loved ones, this ensures they know where to find you, if they need to. Related: 10 Android Applications Draining Your Battery And Data How does it work? Simply open a chat with a group or whoever you want to share the live location with. Tap on the attach icon, under location, you will see a new option to “Share Live Location” and choose the duration for which you want to share your location. This feature also works great on a group chat. When multiple people share their locations, it displays them all live on the same chat. This will make for a real dramatic meet up. No more “i don nearly reach” while you are still at home. Live location feature is on Android and iOS, and will be available soon…perhaps with the next update. http://techguy.ng/how-to-share-your-live-location-on-whatsapp/ |

We can certainly all agree that mobile phones have come a long way through the years. There is however one thing that has not changed much, which is…you still have to insert the SIM of you network provider to get their mobile services. Even though the SIMs have gotten smaller over the years, they still have to be inserted into the device. The Apple watch 3 is one of the first gadgets to use an eSIM. We’ve also heard that Samsung and Apple have been in talks with network providers on the adoption of eSIMs. What is an eSIM? An eSIM is an electronic sim card, and it is expected to replace the conventional plastic SIM cards in future. In its place will be an embedded chip that is non removable. With this, you wont need to swap sims again when you need to change operators. The information on the eSIM will be re-writable by all operators, meaning you can store multiple carrier profiles at once. To change network, you simply need to made a call or change some configuration. What makes it better? Here’s why it will be better: You wouldn’t be needing multiple devices anymore, you wouldn’t have to swap SIMS anymore when you travel, you can easily connect and sync with other smart gadgets such as smart watches and tv’s. Also the embedded eSIM will mean doing away with the traditional sim slots. Creating more space for manufacturers and ultimately bringing about better compact designs for mobile devices. http://techguy.ng/what-is-an-esim/ 3 Likes |

Gaming / FIFA 2018 VS PES 2018: Pick One by Datevilme: 2:36pm On Sep 18, 2017 |
Ok, so it’s that time of the year again, Gamers know what I’m talking about. So PES 2018 release date is already here…, and we expect FIFA 2018 to be out on the 29th of this month. We’ve put together a comparison of the two football gaming giants, with help from trusted reviews, to help you decide which one to go for…if you are still yet to make up your mind. In Graphics The switch to the Frostbite engine in FIFA 17 took the game to the next level in graphic terms. But still, FIFA 18 has managed to still turn up the heat, and a few tweaks have made all the difference. The crowd is no-longer a closely controlled herd, but a collection of people who all react differently. You can imagine how this greatly improves the atmosphere in the stadium, giving that life like feeling. There’s also improved lighting and better shadows, although some players still look a bit like zombies behind the eyes. We hope PES 2018 will focus more on a generally neater UI and livelier stadium atmosphere, rather than just a few details. PES 2017 had excellent player faces and details, but lacked much stadium atmosphere and had a poor general UI. In Gameplay Apparently, Improved gameplay is a big focus in FIFA 2018, the improvements are quite obvious and noticeable. Dribbling is more fun, movements much smoother and crossing is more realistic. Then there are the wonder goals, adding glamour to special finishes. PES 2018 is likely to continue the focus on gameplay that Konami has pushed recently, and we’d expect it to still be the choice for pure football-sim enthusiasts. Trailers Check out their trailers below: http://techguy.ng/fifa-2018-vs-pes-2018-pick-one/ |
