chokers or no chokers this na LeBron roster from lue to the last man in rotation, and the crazy thing is,this a very good team any other team in the league apart from GSW and Cleveland would probably win the championship.
whatever moves they make in the off-season should they lose,is to try to counter the warriors in every way possible.
My Guy, whats up. Great points you have there.
While I agree with you on This is Lebron team/roster, I feel the Cavs need to just develop their own type of style/plays that work for them. That is what GSW do and OKC and Spurs. If the Cavs keep trying to counter teams like GSW, whats the guaranty they even meet in the finals again? what if Cavs meet Spurs in next years finals? All the planning for GSW would be for naught (for all we know Cavs may not even make it to the finals next year - Go Raptors) and then Spurs maybe blow them away because Spurs play Spurs basketball.

Find what works for you and stick to it, I mentioned before in my earlier posts about management taking the Organization 5, 6, 7, 8 moves ahead! So far Cavs are just playing catchup, they do not have a solid basketball identity

Sorry Dude. No idea. Would be nice to play a game of pickup with everyone on here (Guys and Girls) sometime, then we can all talk trash and see if our games are as good as our analysis lol.

Green suspended, I have to say, Lebron played draymond green on this one, he knew that was the only way. All i see is iguodala playing small Forward, Barnes Power Forward here.... Still think warriors come out with a W, or it will be a close game.
Lebron totally played Green on this.

Funny how the League didn't give Lebron the technical from the last series with the Raps when he straight up flopped

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W0mUL2MWvTM

I like Lebron as a player/person but beginning to lose my cool with him.Just play ball man

Roland17:
If Green gets suspended then Lebron must be suspended as well, because he initiated the skirmish with a trip and continued with a chest bump into Green even after intentionally walking over green which is quite disrespectful in the world of sport, especially when the Warriors are the ones dishing out the whopping.
Lebron and Draymond have been given a technical according to the league. While Green's action's weren't suspend-able, His actions warrant a technical (Well, His reaction I think) which when you add the last couple of technicals from the OKC games - means he has to miss a game.
Lebron gets a technical and get's to play because he doesn't amass techs like other players so it's understandable. I'm pretty sure Lebron milked this one, but hey, that's why you play with your head also, it's called basketball IQ, not just the physical aspects of the game but mental also.

It's sad the Cavaliers were pushing for the league to suspend Green, but they had a right according to the rules so if that was my chance to extend my season, I'd do it. Can't blame them ( Dumb ass move though, but legal)

I think GSW is going to come out with guns a blazing on monday.
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by datGuyJoo: 8:14pm On Jun 11, 2016
I would like to touch on Draymond and Lebron's dustup yesterday.
So talk is the league may penalize Draymond and he may miss game 5 and 6 since Draymond already has a couple of technicals from the OKC series and he was rough with Lebron after Lebron stepped over him( honestly, I saw Lebron push Draymond down first, then step over him)

If the league do penalize Green, then this will be some funny business as Lebron was just as guilty. Both players got foul calls and it should end at that.
By the way, anyone notice Lebron is about to have a 3 peat! just not the one he was hoping for.

Appreciate your sincerity.. What do you think aboput the present Bosh case cos it's really serious. Bosh is too nice..
Yeah, He is a rare gifted player, smart man also. Highly intelligent based on the venture startups he is into outside basketball and I like that he doesn't care what people think of him, he just let's his game do the talking.

The leg clots he has are tricky man, apparently his drs have cleared him to play but the league and team won't take that chance. and 2nd time this has come up for him.

It's one of those situations where he could still play and nothing happens but if something did happen it could be bad/sad/disastrous. Honestly it's a hard place to be, wanting to do the job you love but can't because of health issues.

He has a family, they are his priority so I'd say he should retire and enjoy time with them.
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by datGuyJoo: 7:13pm On Jun 09, 2016

There is a significant difference in being a fan of a particular player versus being a fan of the team irrespective of the players in the team.

Which one una be abeg?
True man. I'll say I'm more of a player fan. I'm a big KG and Bosh fan. When KG was with Timberwolves I was a fan of the team only because of 1 player. When he moved on to be with Boston I had to switch teams. Does that make me a bandwagon fan?

Same goes for Bosh. Loved his game pre Miami and even after he left TOR, I still follow the Raps but definitely more inclined to side with Bosh. When Miami and TOR met in the Eastern conf semis I was glad Bosh wasn't playing due to he's health issue so it made cheering for TOR less guilt ridden on my part.

My alliance is definitely more with a player/s than team as a whole.

I have said I don't get clutchness If a player is said to be clutch it should be the whole game not 2min at the end.
so in situations where your best player isn't a lockdown shooter you will run a play for Shaq to come and knock down a shot ?
you all preach team basketball and ball sharing letting the player with the best
statistical chance is part of this, but if LeBron dumps the ball una go say he wilts in the big moments.
LeBron is one of the best passers to ever play the game their are more than one ways to hurt a team. like we've not seen not shooter flourish in this league.
I agree with you there. I play rec ball and I get pissed when the game is on the line and someone forces up a shot when he has 2,3 people on him because he is the best player?! like really. Great basketball IQ dictates 2, 3 people on his team are open, so passsssss the ball.

I know it gets crazy when one player is getting payed millions so he thinks he has to take the last shot, but it also means making the golden pass.

Manutd19:
great insight but i have to disagree on some
1. Nothing great in winning 2 of 4 playing in a weak conference with 3 other future hall of famers. He was beaten by Dallas for crying out loud and was disgraced by Spurs after Ray Allen saved their ass in the previous.

2. In his defence, There's nothing wrong in him interfering with management's job like recruit, choice of coach e.t.c. Superstars does this often including Jordan and Kobe. Kobe chased Shaq away for crying out loud. Difference btw them & Lebron is the both iq, leadership & management skills. Lebron has little knowledge on how to win/what to do to win.
Thanks man, great great points, I love it.

Point #1:
If you are the best student in your class in a little town in Epe and you are so brilliant schools in England and America take note, Do you stay in Epe and say I will grind it out here or do you take your talents to south beach and leave to go to a great college/university Abroad so you learn and have a leg up when you graduate and you make great friends along the way and become somebody in your chosen field to come back home to Epe to try to do the things you learnt abroad. You may be frustrated when you get back home because it's not as straight forward as you imagined.

My point is: you can't blame Lebron for wanting to be great and joining greatness to achieve that. We all do it everyday. It's a choice.

Regarding weak conference: East vs West. man, I could go on for days on that. I agree the East is visually the weaker conference or historically the worse conference but they all play in the NBA, The best league in the world supposedly. If you make it to the NBA you are really good, or someone see's potential in you to be really good. What you do in the conference after you are dafted is up to you. Jordan played in the East and what did he do? Larry B did what in the East? Bad boy pistons did what also? Michael Olowokandi was drafted in the West and what did he do? I could go on but I honestly think it boils down to how each player works hard to get what they want and management be damned, if you are good, everybody will see you are good. Even if you lose.

The lakers teams for years were stacked with HOFers and no one complained because they are the lakers! And did everything to win. Lebron's journey to Miami could have been a disaster but it worked. I'm a Chris Bosh fan. You think he was happy to play 3rd wheel? You give something to win/achieve something, everyone does.

Everyone loses sometimes, but it's how you come back that matters (see how I sound like a gatorade commercial wink )

The Playoffs are a different beast man, Just look at OKC this year, up 3 -1 and they lost. If they had made to the Finals I think Lebron would have won the first 2 games against them, but like I said, the playoffs are a different beast and anything goes.

Point #2:
You are right, great players need to be consulted or get buy in, that's how great organizations work.
I think Lebron saw how Miami was run and he thought he could replicate it but it's hard and full time work, something he needs to not worry about now. I feel he is more about the business than the sports. He has the athletic talent so honestly very little needs to be done there, just some tweaks here and there but having money doesn't equate you are business and management savvy.

Being a great leader is knowing how to empower the people around you to do their best. Hire the best people to do the job and get out of the way. Lead as best as you can (Lebron on the court) and let everyone else who is the best in their fields supposedly do their jobs. If it fails because of lack of planning then heads must roll. If it fails because things just didn't swing your way then stick to it, get up, learn and move on. Repeat with the learnt lessons, get better and see how it works.

IMO Lebron curated the big mess he is in.

Please read on..my thoughts:
He is a great player, great role model for younger people who look up to him as he has weathered a lot and has come out without a scratch.
His only fault that really anyone can point to as a human being was deciding to leave Cleveland to go chase ...not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4 and he pretty much came damn close. He got 2 rings out of 4 straight finals trips with Miami. That's great if you ask me. If he had to do a performance appraisal like we all have to do at work, he would be given a raise and promotion no questions asked.

He broke a lot of peoples hearts in Cleveland when he left the first time and please lookup what Dan Gilbert wrote about him. And Dude(Lebron) still went back to Cleveland. I'm sorry but I would never want to work for/with someone like Dan Gilbert after that. If this was simply 50 years ago Lebron would have been lynched because he dared to think for himself, he did not hurt anyone, he hurt feelings, but these are the same team owners who wouldn't think twice to trade him if they had no use for him!! (no crime in wanting to leave a team, it's business also)

Now after winning in Miami and going back to Cleveland, Lebron and his merry men were thinking strategically, He would be the hero to bring a championship, and with that came power, intentionally or not, he now had a say in how things were going to be run in the organization and he kind of earned that right with winning in Miami and seeing how things were run there, Miami as an organization is a well oiled machine, just like San Antonio. Lebron wanted to recreat that in Cleveland.

Dan Gilbert wasn't going to piss a 2nd chance away. Lebron knew he had Cleveland (The Team and the city) by the balls. So Lebron has been pulling the strings and getting things he wants because no one wants to stand up to him or piss him off. You honestly think Pat Riley would care if Lebron didn't like the coach, Riley would say get in line or bounce.

Lebron's down fall from what I saw on TV and PVR was his ego. He disrespected his coach (Platt) in front of the world to see. I'm sure he didn't realize it, but body language and how you deal with people is key. Communication is 80% non verbal.

For all of Lebron's greatness he still needs to be coached and led by a firm hand. He is an alpha male because of his size and what he can do and people react and respect that, but he doesn't translate that properly on the managing side. Anyone can play ball and with time you develop a sense of how plays are run and you see things 2, 3 , 4 moves ahead- Lebron is great at that. Lebron has no business trying to do what Team management should be doing and that is making moves 5,6,7 and 8 ahead. You have great people around you, let them do their job and everything will fall into place. After your career is done, then worry about being management or owner.

When you tattoo King and Chosen one all over your body and majority of the fan base and young kids want to emulate 'Chef Curry with shot' one might want to rethink those tattoos?! just saying. Like Kobe said, the splash bros are silent assassins. Their game does the talking and they leave management to do their work. Look at Curry, he could have checked out when Mark Jackson who built this team was fired, but he didn't, but do not think for once Curry and the whole crew(GSW team) don't remember who got this team built.

The great players MJ, Larry Bird, Kobe, Shaq, Magic, Wade all let management do their job. Yes, management consults with them from time to time on who they should go after but overall, they let the organizational management do their jobs, and they never disrespected their coach's. Lebron sending subliminal tweets and and bad body language is communicating to everyone-and Cleveland management that he wants something or not.

It would be sad if Lebron lost again in the finals because as a ball fan, I appreciate what he has done and 6 straight finals is no joke but he shaped this team to be what it is today because that is what he wanted and now, he has to deliver with the team.

Only reason I want GSW to win is that they have 2 Nigerians on the team so my alliance is with GS (Go Naija).

Enough of my opinion lol, I have work to get to hahaa.

Blog: Your opinion for others to see and comment on and you really don't care as it is solely your opinion, factual or not.

Forum: A community based platform for anyone to curate their own topics.
Forums are driven by numbers/members, a more dedicated set of users who unknowing build a large knowledge base of information. It could be rubbish( like some threads on nairaland) and it could be useful/factual( like a lot of threads on nairaland)

Definition of a Blog: One's opinion ( personal or business) written out like an old school dairy for everyone to see. Usually only shows things from the bloggers perspective hence blogs are normally biased.

And what is your plan apart from wanting to start a blog? What's your vision?

Very interesting that everyone has a blog hence not a lot of strong content on there, just copy and paste. If you see one blog you have seen them all as every one has the same content being copied around. Wouldn't it make more sense to have a collective of people run a blog then it actually has a chance to become something.
