I was expecting this kind of comment , I don't know who you are and where u got ur info about 300 dollars from , Of course if you have green card , you can join whatever you want , I admitted making the mistake of classifying both green card/citizenship as the same thing.
I'm sure it's not 300 dollars per month, except you mean per week , my classmate is currently collecting 800bucks per month for doing nothing.
If it's just 300 bucks per month then it won't be worth joining . I'm in the US , I live with these people, my info is first hand information .
what about a naijja Doctor like me presently in the Army?

oxypress:
Sorry, we can feel your pains. We know how bad it is for a patient to develope pains. But the 4 grams of paracetamol plus 800mg brufen (for only only one liver) may seem to work at first and will make the patient to continue on an uncontrolled ingestion of drugs that was not prescribed by her doctor. NL no be teaching hospital o. The patient may die without you, the NL 'angel' knowing it.
@datigbogirl: do not take NL un-superviced prescription because it can damage your liver. A damaged liver can kill. The 'devil' you see in the hospital is safer than the NL 'angel' you don't see. Let your team doctor come and attend to you.
If dog cannot eat bone na okuko go come chop am?
If you urgently need a doctors attention just call the nurse on duty she will get a doctor that will listen to you.
Most patients want to call a doctor that was called for another patient after a morning ward-round, but the doctors attention may not focus on you so they may not answer unless the nurses draw their attention. During ward-rounds patients can have direct access to their team doctors. If police anti-robery is going for 'action' they will not stop to arrest two people fighting by the road side.
Most times doctors work is based on priority. Eg: if you are in the ward and your doctor needs to carry out an emergency procedure you may not see him until late in the afternoon.
Or there are instances when a doctor may temporarily 'abandon' you for a more serious patient. People need to understand doctors and not pick offence at their actions and using adjectives like: foolish, idiots, behaving like gods, insensitive, illetrate, braggard, etc. to express their anger. Haba, na waa ooh, na so dem hate doctors reach? I beg o!
this particular doctor has issues as anoda doctor has given me an injection pentazocine this morning without much ado. the foolish female doctor was just trying to show herself yesterday. Life means nothing to them in this hospital. Come see people die like flies.

I'm in 44 Comilla Barracks Hospital Kaduna with a serious orthopaedic issue. Been here for about 2weeks now without ever laying any unnecessary complaints.

however I'm currently in serious pains about 2days ago which I complained about but wasn't taken seriously. The pain got worse throughout the midnight till now and I complained to a female doctor who said she wasn't incharge of me that I meet the doctor on our case whom I saw and also complained politely and bitterly to the female doctor only for her to wave off my complaints saying she has other patients to attend to and she doesn't have my time and she can't find my casenote and that I should collect a medication as dangerous as Tramadol from another patient to use. All of this she said with a nonchalant attitude.

Currently enduring pains that feel like I'm being stabbed with a knife. God help me

When did you graduate? Because you can't be 4-5 years postgrad & be taking the usmle route. Such person would most likely be rejected by residency program directors. And by the way, I think you can't "just work" (as you think) in the US as a doctor without residency, even if you pass all your steps. There are many who have passed their steps but are stranded in the US because they haven't matched into a residency program.
how sure are you about this?

Read the Nigerian penal code
http://www.nigeria-law.org/Criminal%20Code%20Act-Part%20VI%20%20to%20the%20end.htm

(1) A person who fraudulently takes anything capable of being stolen, or fraudulently converts to his own use or to the use of any other person anything capable of being stolen, is said to steal that thing.

(2) A person who takes or converts anything capable of being stolen is deemed to do so fraudulently if he does so with any of the following intents-

(a) an intent permanently to deprive the owner of the thing of it;

(b) an intent permanently to deprive any person who has any special property in the thing of such property;

(c) an intent to use the thing as a pledge or security;

(d) an intent to part with it on a condition as to its return which the person taking or converting it may be unable to perform;

(e) an intent to deal with it in such a manner that it cannot be returned in the condition in which it was at the time of the taking or conversion;

(f) in the case of money, an intent to use it at the will of the person who takes or converts it, although he may intend afterwards to repay the amount to the owner.

The term "special property" includes any charge or lien upon the thing in question, and any right arising from or dependent upon holding possession of the thing in question, whether by the person entitled to such right or by some other person for his benefit.
