The problem is still that d fares are low.
On no account should someone drive to Riders destination pick up on AC and drop Rider even if it's two houses away the minimum fare should be 3k. No matter how short.
10km ride shouldn't be less than 5k Net ,
20km 10k
30km 30k and so on.
I don't really bother about how much they take provided what I make is good.
Consider that they also put back a large chunk of their earnings in marketing and bonus to Riders too. Many riders really will not be able to afford ehailing, if it is to be standardly priced. Example is when there is surge, there are fewer meaningful trips.
I know with Bolt and Uber, Fares would have be going up considerably, but Indrive is spoiling the market.

Areas like Yaba, Shomolu, Ajao, Bariga etc are not dead zones. Short trips in this areas pay better on indrive.

No one can make 50k driving on any platform now. Let’s be realistic, your gross earning on a trip on bolt is a little less than what an average negotiator gets on indrive. Currently, uber consistently offers me less than what I will get on a trip if I did it on indrive. Indrive is only bad in areas where there are too many drivers.

Go to those areas I mentioned and analyse the prices you see carefully.

Here is the earnings of January and February of my brother, though he works 3, 4 to 5 days a week due to car maintenance. He works 12 to 14hrs any day he choose to work. During the 2 months he bought fuel at 730 per litre and he bought 45k fuel each day.
My first question is, as a driver who works 12 to 14 hours how much is he suppose to net after removing fuel money at the end of the day.
For those who didn’t see my first post concerning my brother earning on bolt, he drives 2006 4plug big daddy.

Good day comrades. Plz I'm new to this hustle. I've been reading some of your comments and from what I've read here I can deduce that the hustle isn't all that like b4. So but man must survive. I have a challenge right now and I'd need you guys to help give guardians. I have a Rav4 4plug 2007 which I have been using for private. So buh I want to use it for this buisness for just this year bcus I took a loan for a buisness but tinz dint go as planned which made paying hard. I work 9 to 5 and during weekends I'm free. So my plan is to work from 5 to 11pm during weekdays then weekend full time. With this fuel wahala is it possible for me to net 200k per month so I can use it together with my salary to offset the loan monthly. I don't want to convert to cng as it's just this year.

I created another moniker wen I came back into the country and bought and chasis rav4 09. Now I didn't want to come off as bragging so I created another moniker.

Some of us are modest and dont need to disclose so much about ourselves until we exchange contact and deal then itz official but till then as long as facts are being shared with receipts then all is well.

I see this forum has a lot of failed drivers and drivers who see this hustle not as a job or business like anyother but as a menial thing just to get by. I drive by choice . If telling stories of my life in different monikers comes off as living a fake life then let me just tell u with one moniker. I have used driving to change and stabilize my life. I drive everyday not because I'm broke but cause of discipline I'm sure even u if u had some of my funds u would have stop driving longest time ago . So see y we are not on the same level.

A guy that doesn't believe he can make back 6mil in 6 months with cng is definitely not on my level or the man that told someone to buy a car and be receiving 10k everyday . Is that a business? I'm first a businessman before I'm a driver and driving is just a business.

Better embrace cng and revamp ur driving career else stop discouraging people with ur rubbish talk about how cng is not good.

I use CNG and I am not a serious driver, but I can confidently say you don’t know what you are saying.

There’s no way I work 6 days a week consistently for 6 months and won’t make 6 million. In fact, if I extrapolate from my weekly earnings, I will make more.

It will take a little more than 6 months because of car issues that will cause downtime. If na straight fire down, e too sure.

It depends on family responsibility and quality of the car.

If within the 6 months, there are less down times, 6 million is achievable at 500k saving a month.

It's very easy to net 30k daily after fuel and commission. 30x6=180k

180x4=720k. So saving 500k monthly is easy with less family responsibility. You can target 1 million to 1.5 million in the month of December.

So in conclusion, 6 million is achievable in 6 months.

If you don't want it pls leave it. 9 in 10 people that did it are blessing God everyday. The complaints are mostly from guys that did it initially not new installations but honestly any driver with sense will install it and cash out. Unless the driver can't afford it sha iz ok but pls let's allow this discussion to rest
