obinoral1179: Good day boss, please a quick question about driver licence. I saw FRSC office close to my house and I went there today to make enquiry and the information I got there was 5 years for 35k and 3 years for 30k but the red flag was that i only ask a lady doing photocopy for those that are done with their capturing and she also said it will take 1 month before I can be capture.
Please what do you advise I do. The lady is correct bro. Drivers license takes a minimum of one month for driving school certificate and when its out the license can be processed almost immediately. Don't let anyone deceive you otherwise but this is Nigeria so you can get it almost immediately but thats if you're looking for fake |

Felicity001: Haha... I hope you are not part of those that countered my post of ill-heart issues uber drivers usually encounters.
Well, I'm not selfish, I have made a promise to share my experiences freely without asking people to DM where as they have interior motive either now or the nearest future.
I'll make a post on how you can manage your body very well. Don't believe those that says, "drink plenty of water" it's good for the eyes true! But my guy na lie if 45minutes traffic hold you untop 3MDB nko? Shey you go carry ur kampanonus come outside to release the tap water? so you don't want an embarrassing situation. You want to be active while on trip... Unlike me that can hold wee for up to 2hrs, i won't compare or advice the next man to drink plenty of water not knowing h/s can't hold same for even 20 minutes.
You need to understand somethings.
The hustle na head e dey, God has program this life you can live a 100 and 20 years if you have the understanding of ling life. Many rich people don't have it but we the few that has thank God.

A quick update on my experience doing uberbolt so far
I got a Nigerian used Honda city 07 at a cheap price did the papers and servicing
Car-550k Papers (c of o) -60k Servicing and minor fixing -30k Ac (condenser, drier, compressor, flush and workmanship) -46k Painting /body work-67k
On Monday i Registered on bolt free, Registration on uber-3k
Started work on Tuesday day did Uber, came online but long distance pick up made like 10k gross from 8 to 3pm cos i had to rush back to do my other hustles.
On Wednesday (was not so good). It started great tho. I couldn't meet the welcome bonus on bolt( complete 5 trips and get 4k bonus). I made like 10k from 7 to 2pm den the nightmare. I took a trip to unilag close to yaba i got seriously scratched on my newly painted car. I felt angry and decided to close. Heading home from Unilag to attend to personal stuffs. I mistakenly took one way and got caught. I paid 5k
Thursday i went to ikorodu online trip showed 8.5k rider paid 11k out of pity. i almost cried due to bad road then did some airport ofline.
Friday i didn't work cos i discovered i drive back empty from where a trip ends to my house when its becoming 3pm to attend to my other hustles.
On Saturday and Sunday i made like 35k net did like 16 back to back trips from 7 to 7pm (i began to wonder how Felicity takes more than 300trips in a month)
CONS: I noticed i have back pain into and at the end of the day after driving long hours, i hear some noise on the drivers side car legs when turning the steering or if i enter a bad road and i don't know where its from. I've asked two kazzeem they said its normal and is caused by the rain and water but they need to greese some places on the legs another kazeem said its the ball joint. At this point i dunno what to believe.
Veterans in the house especially people in the ant's league please advise me. What am i not doing right |

Pearl1910: A Plate number is tagged to an individual. If u or someone commits a crime with your car, u will be nabbed, provided ur plate number was captured by witnesses or CCTV. Now if u sell ur car and leave the plates for d buyer, whatever crime he commits with that car, off he wasn't caught on scene, u are at risk of being arrested and possibly jailed for what u know nothing about. So if u sell ur car to a stranger, pls remove the plates.
Also ur plates are still valid even after selling the car, u can use it to register a new car that u acquire Haven't u noticed new cars carrying old plates numbers? That's cos instead of registering fresh plate number, if u have a plate number from a car u have sold, u can use it to register another car. Works pretty much like change of ownership, but in this case, they change the car details linked to the plate on the system. what if someone buys a car and the previous owner removed his plates will the new owner need to do change of ownership or can just apply for fresh plate registration |

donfortune48: Even if them dash you car for free for US, you no fit spend less thank 800k to bring it to naija now.
So imagine how much he possibly bought it, come still put this kind money on top.
Note: if he bought it at an extremely cheap prize, come still pay huge for repair, then he definitely bought a foreign Lemon. You have a very valid point brother Some people here go say ''i can never buy naija used vehicle" its definitely a lemon.... You will spend a lot on repair to put it to standard. Why then should u now buy a so called toks and spend a lot to put it to standard? Therefore it would not be out of place to call it a lemon too. Cos if someone buys a toks and still spend huge money on repairs that means the toks was either roughly used or definitely a lemon. That's why i look as folks that will just conclude saying nigerian used is a total write off cos its used in Nigeria not even considering the fact thata: 1. there are neatly used cars in Nigeria 2. People sell cars for various reasons e.g relocating, dire need of cash, wanting to upgrade etc My take will always be: person no dey use car forever but when buying a vehicle do ur due diligence weda naija used or toks cos even some naija used dey better pass some toks. I'll rather take my chances with a naija used that i can get cheap if u like call it lemon i will make lemonade out of it than spend huge money on an expensive lemon toks |

Mukah1234: Hello team,
I have been a keen follower of this thread (lowkey) for sometime now. Please I need your advise.
I’m interested in ehailing but the major challenge has been getting a car or the money to buy a car. I tried getting HP but couldn’t get something reasonable so I decided to save up the cash and buy a car instead.
Before now my savings amount goal was 1.5m for a foreign used Honda Civic 07/08; I use to see this on JIji sometime last year.
Now I am ready and have been able to save this amount but I can’t find a foreign used of this car for 1.5m anymore and already settling for naija used.
Please advise on other alternative to a foreign used Honda Civic 07/08 or what to look out for in getting a Nigerian used vehicle.
Thank you Little advice for u When ure going to buy the vehicle pay close attention to other details don't let the seller or the so called mechanic u carry brain wash u saying the gear and engine is perfect. Other things matters to like the body, underbody rust and check if the interior, spare tire, side mirrors, chromes etc are not missing cos I've the same experience too Engine and gear was perfect but..... Interior leaks water when it rains, and the vehicle got some underbody rust too. Ac wasn't working but when i the ac man checked he saw the valve was bad so he refilled and gas(cost me 6k) Total body work and painting to get the vehicle up should me close to 100k. I get luck say i got the car cheap tho but last last i fit spend up to 200k extra to make d car fit. |
