jethro2: The sellers of Vegetables like Tomato, Ata rodo, Tatase, Sombo usually buys from the popular mile 12 market in Lagos. Most of their location are far from the market. The quoted post said it again. ![]() We the farmers cnt do it without giveout percentage 4rm our earning ![]() In that note i still stand that farmers need agents ![]() |
jethro2: Marketing of the products have always been a source of concerned. Creativity with the marketing is required. There are lot of gaps to be filled in the agri bussinessNow in btw your post ' there are lot of gaps to be filled in the agri business ' pls what are the gaps? |
jethro2: To some extent I don't agree with that. It has always been the issue of " monkey dey work baboon dey chop"Any agro produce market most work with channels if need success in shot time. Am talking not bcuz i read it somewhere but as someone who is fully into the business and also someone who practice such... My 2cent |
jethro2: Marketing of the products have always been a source of concerned. Creativity with the marketing is required. There are lot of gaps to be filled in the agri bussinessOne can achieve that easily by employing the service of qualified sourcing agent. We succes in our sesame, ginger and cashew trading by employed the service of sourcing agent and i thing any serious minder agro trader should adopt that system for a greater resuilt. |
uboma: Thanks for the response. I am sure that Mercilious will umderstand you better now.Due call me b4 coming to lafia as any moment by next week i might leave. Just as i said earlier our main season is about to start and my route will be abuja-lafia-taraba and kano.cuz as our company need to put thing in order b4 the season kick started. Regard |

Again , this business is not for everyone and we that already invested into the business will be happy to see none again invest into it, YES but if you're a business minded individual .then do ur market research then ur fate should determine for you. You will never loss in egusi storage business, the highest is you might not make the expected profit...and that cant never happen this year. Nasarawa face some communal clash early this year and most of the victims are those same farmers that farm egusi.so for that reason few farmers farm egusi and that guarantee huge profit . I'm a agro trader and i knw the best.. Finally whoever is contact me ,should tell me how u want me to help you or what u want me to do for u .if its what i can do then i do and if its what i cnt do then do be offended. More business ideas in agro trading. Yes anyone can make money with out investing a penny in agro trading 'SOURCING AGENT ' A SOURCING AGENT MAKE MONEY BY SOURCING FOR DEMANDED AGRO PRODUCE AND GET PAID AS COMMISSION BY THE BUYER OR SELLER OR BOTH. More on this coming soon. |
uboma: In businesses, you need to resist the urge of being rude and show some courtesy (it doesn't cost a nickel to be polite and courteous). Treat everyone as a potential biz client because the truth is, you never can tell...I reply u cuz u sounded mature. My home town is Lafia..but i did nt base in lafia. I 'm presently in lafia for my personal business and to make purchase for some nairalander. My boss own agro trading company and our season is about to start.i handle all the company transaction and enquiries and as the season is on ,my phones are always busy. If u follow the thread well i did mentioned that anyone can start the biz without me and mst of nairalander that contacted me i always insist they should go to the market and do the purchase themselve. Am a busy individual more than what you think. Now tell me.. Some call me and ask if i am david and respon yes then i said 'PLEASE GO DIRECT TO THE POINT AS MY OTHER PHONE IS RINGING'' her response is she called a lady that visited nasarawa to make enquiry about others agro produce but the lady refused to tell what she want to knw. I respond to her 'PLS HOW CAN I HELP YOU?' The next thing she said that am too ash on her . I end her call and refused to pick any of her calls again and when did that now become offence...? Though i recieve 3 threat text message frm diff number regarding this egusi storage business and i want to that the threat message is frm same person or frm same group. Some insulted me for sharing the info but i dont give a dowN Cuz am a confirm eggon guy and nothing one can do |
Those still interested in size 29 bags can visit Doma market ,though did nt visit the market myself but someone told me that size 29 bags are available today in the market. Doma market is on every wednesday |
uboma: She still didn't label him a scam artist. She just advised that we should be careful and i don't see anything wrong in that statement. She arrived at that conclusion from her brief encounter with David on phone (which even u will be suspicious if u were in her shoes). She may as well apologize to David after he narrates his own side of the story. What i see here as the problem is lack of communication. Lets just await David's explanation.Wait for me for what? Did i own u explanation dude ? ![]() when did refuse to pick someone call turn to offence ? |

Abeg save ur energy bro and allow her talk whenever she feel like... |
ogb5: You can throw the phone awayBad Boy ![]() |
romzyxy: what u need is an i.d no.(identification number)of the network you are using, then u login into the network site.after that you will see all their services then you choose the one relating to s.m.s(test message)you click on it.the next page you will see will tell you what to do.100% correct answer and very helpfull. I cant remember my id number again but i guess calling the C.C will solve my problem thanks frd. |
2orow will be another market in the heart of lafiat its called KASUWA ALAMIS .. |
idumuose: Wao! Interesting. And some people are killing theirselves looking for paid job that never is.Keep up the good work @dav8idYou got it right frd. One can also make money frm this section without even invest a penny. I knw how many offers i turn down frm some agro firm and individuals though somes are jokers while some are real, well i still accepted to work for few serious ones sha. And i want to said big thank you for some of this nairalander the trusted and entrusted their fund under my care even without meeting face to face. |
Gbengazzee: I was also in the market. Got there at about 1.20pm. At first I was pissed off with the journey, a stressful one and unanticipated. But when I arrived the market, the whole market scene invigorate me.Sorry there was no mtn network in the market. I also told the lady (nairalander) that were together that am xpecting u. Sorry for that bro. The lady shes also frm kubwa. For the name, the first houses u seen b4 geting to the market are ashangwa while the market point and those small settlement within there are ashangba (its only we b the area knw the diff) ![]() Welcome to EGGON LAND ![]() |
@All lot of un-well dry egusi full market and those type are in low price. Maximum storage of such is one month if not you will in longtin ![]() Dont be carry away by low price. As for yesterday market (ashangwa ) always make sure they measure your bag if not they will endup giving you size 29 or 30 in the name of size 31 or 32. You cant identify the bags size by eyes. Price ranges size 31 are N20,000, (Not well dry and not clean full with emty shell can be store for a month ) N20500, (Not well dry and not clean can be store for a month ) N21000, ( fair dried but mixed with emty shell in the bottom and can only store for 2months maximum) N22,000(well dried , very clean and can be store for 12 months and above) store fee N200 per bag for unlimited durition .ie if you like store for 20years .you wont pay until when you are good to sell out your produce. I and a lady who also a nairaland from kubwa visited the market and purchased 8 bags and its really a wonderfull day. Happy investment |
thank God for today market. No more size 29 bag only 32 bags. Price as today market is N22,500 (well dry and fully loaded with extension on the bag) But too much of market charges which include land fee, uploading of produce, bag measurement fee,bag stamp fee, shaking and sewing fee, gate pass fee and ministry of agric task revenue collector ![]() Recommendation... Never use assakio market again unless if you are ready to pay all the uneccessary fee. Yes any other market one most pay such fee but not so high as assakio market. Ashangba market is the best follow by agyaragu market, cuz u can store ur produce within the market and that save you some extral fee. Ashangba market store fee is only pay whenever you come to pickup your produce and there is no duration limit but heey its not all the store but a brother store and it cost N200 per bag. I will upload live picture of today market activities and tomorrow market (ashangba market) . David live 4rm lafia. Catch you yah EXPO.. Make sure that they measure your bag before loading it with egusi if not they will endup using size 30 for you in the name of size 32 ![]()
