for those saying they will vote out wike if he does not perform i pity because u are on a long thing, wike as you are seeing him didnt rig to serve only one tenure now that he perpetuated violence to get to power i hope the people supporting him now do not regret their action come 2019 when he does the same thing to stay in power. People are now applauding an obvious act of rigging because it favours their candidate well time will tell. When somebody succeeds in using a means to achieve his goals there is absolutely nothing that will stop him from trying it again. Think about it.

I Pity my state with Wike at the helm.

We are in for four horrible years. People would refer to Amaechi as a Saint after then.

Hopefully, the court cancels this travesty.
you are very correct they think by voting out sorry, rigging out dakuku that they are punishing amaechi the level of gangstarism and harrassment by thugs on rivers citizens would make odili's admstr a child's play by then it will be too late because then nothing anybody will do about it let the oppression and gnashing of teeth begin.
PoliticsRe: Obasanjo Presents Soludo As Finance Minister, Tinubu Kicks by Dave50(m): 6:56pm On Apr 06, 2015
Skoopy:
An important ministerial position such as finance will be good for the ibos with the over 98% possibility of loosing out in the bid for the senate president . That won't be too much for the 3rd largest ethnic group in the country. Next election them go wise up.
are you suggesting the ibos should be given minister of finance just for d sake of it what happened to competency no wonder nigeria can never developed irrespective of the govt in power. All we are concerned about is just sharing political positions no wonder the populace keep getting poorer.
RomanceRe: Disadvantages Of Being Handsome: by Dave50(m): 10:20pm On Sep 17, 2014
What the op said is so so so true..... apart from the older women and jealous girlfriends (never been in a relationship anyway, only had admirers) the rest applies to me. Well what i will say is that never make assumptions of people till you have spoken to them and asked neccessary questions.
PoliticsRe: Sanusi Forced To leave 3-Months To The End Of His Tenure - SaharaReporters by Dave50(m): 1:43pm On Dec 28, 2013
segnys007: how has he over heated the polity? What does it even mean to "over heat the polity"? This is just a means for thieving politicians to sweep something under the carpet. They don't want to over the polity!!! Which stupid polity!!! Na only Nigeria be polity? How come it's only here you hear about over heating the polity?
Thank you very much, you hit the nail on the head, whenever very important issues are raised (corrupt practices and otherwise) most nigerians complain of heating the polity but when sycophants resolves to praise singing it is not seen as heating the polity.
PoliticsRe: Sanusi Forced To leave 3-Months To The End Of His Tenure - SaharaReporters by Dave50(m): 1:37pm On Dec 28, 2013
From the comments am reading here it is a fact that nigerians dont really hate corruption. Whenever corruption is exposed instead of looking at it objectively we are more interested in attacking the messenger, let us continue like this and see where it leads us. Other african countries are moving forward yet we choose t o remain where we are. I pity our future generations. No wonder it is said that a people deserve the type of leaders they get .
PoliticsRe: Sanusi Forced To leave 3-Months To The End Of His Tenure - SaharaReporters by Dave50(m): 1:22pm On Dec 28, 2013
brinell: Sanusi's deliberately exposed letter may be true, but it's equally disturbing that such a high and sensitive position is occupied by a man that can bend because he is 'blackmailed' to change figures hastily. Having exposed such level of corruption, he should just have stuck to his position. Hastily changing his position after deliberately leaking the letter brings his reputation to question.

One question though: Are all these deliberate exposes really aimed at the betterment of Nigeria, or are they because of different political, religious and ethnic interests?

I ask this question because, though we the public like exposes of this nature, I still see that all these guys exposing the different information have different levels of corruption in their field and constituencies , as well as very personal interests. I'm all for these exposes if they are for the good of the country, but against it if they're aimed at heating up the polity to gain sympathy for politician's selfish interest.
So in orderwords you are saying corruption should only be exposed based on motives right?
We all want nigeria to be a better place yet when fraud is exposed, instead us getting interested in knowing if the reports are accurate we go about crucifying the whistle blower.

Now tell me with this kind of attitude we have do we expect well meaning nigerians to expose corrupt practices in the future?

author=sofa-dj]I'm getting sick of Critical comments on NL. Most times
its even difficult to know whose side u guys are on. Must you criticise
everythin on here. If Jonathan does anythin, u'd say he must resign now
sm1 said power will change hands u r grumbling again. If Pastor TB Josh
says anythin u'd be searchin everywhere to see what to criticise. It
seems some pple here are actually enjoying themselves typing so many
senseless criticisms....How would you say frm above he meant Jonathhan
is goin to die? Have you heard of impeachment?Resignation? Those are
also possibilities pple...[/quote]thumbs up my brother i also have been viewing most of the comments it seems people on nairaland are just quick to criticize.
