LOLZ am a Computer & Engineering Student, which is the same thing as being a Geek so its easier for me to understand all things tech, that said you might not be able to do it and end up bricking your console, its advisable to give it to an expert to avoid issues but if you still insist on doing it yourself, head over to google and youtube respectively and search for 'how to downgrade and jailbreak ps3 slim' and go from there. Just make sure ur model is jailbreakable.

Yeah...I noticed most of these details on PES but never related it to lack of license, and you are right about the controls, pes is easier to control but FIFA has more graphics, that said they are bother great gamessage with each having its own flaws and its own advantage, i also started with PES before entering FIFA, in a nutshell it's all about preference, it's your right to like what you want and dislike what displease's you.

Hello there. Pls I wanna jailbreak my Ps3 console. I've been using it for like 6 years now without jail breaking it and I've not really been playin it dat much so it still works as new till today. Is there any risk(s) in jail breaking? And pls how much will it cost me to jailbreak it and add like 10 games to it. I'm not based in lagos buh thinkin of comin there soon to do it so I wanna be prepared and arrange the money for it. Am not based in lagos either, am a PH resident and as such can't recommend a person in lagos, only in PH can I be of help, I learnt jailbreaking ps3 from articles and from youtube, and up to date I have jailbroken about 8 PS3 slims which belonged to me and my friends, risks varies depending on the model of your ps3, the method being used and the person doing the jailbreaking, for me using an E3 flasher on a ps3 slim by a professional jailbreaker there are no risk, but other than that there is always the risk of bricking.
As for the games and jailbreaking, 6k to 8k will be enough for the jailbreaking and an extra 2k to 4k will be given to the person doing the jailbreaking so as to add games, But naturally you are entitled to getting some free games from the guy jailbreaking the ps3 (at least that is how we roll in PH).

Well technically you can, but a standard ps3 game size ranges from 5GB to 45GB, now unless your have a 16GB, to 6GB memory card it will be an issue downloading onto a small sized mcard.

Get a jailbroken ps3 ( all jailbroken ps3 are made on or before 2010), as for the YLOD you have to tell the seller you will return it if it is faulty, then when you get it play it for a whole day, if it goes off by itself while playing return it.

So far as The person doing knows what he is doing you are fine, he will just have to reset the ps3 token using QA flag after downgrading and then install a custom firmware, that should avoid any issue, (remind him to change the thermal paste too).
Should cost between 6k to 8k.

To make things easy just get a jailbroken ps3, and then google any term you aren't familiar with, just add ps3 at the end and read the articles on them, because if i were to explain everything to you I would have to open another thread!!

Most of the games you mentioned are extremely whacky. I still love PS3 more than ps4, but the truth is many ps3 games are whacky. Lol they have a way of making their games look 'so badass like' just with the posters on the CD casings. I don't know, maybe I find most ps3 games boring because I'm a huge fan of warfare games e.g battlefield, COD, and maybe spinster cell. Assassins creed isn't that bad also. Lol, I can't actually believe some people like playing rock star games, jeez I find their games too long or should I say endless.

If you intend on playing jailbroken games (i.e games downloaded from the Internet or copied from cds) get a ps3 on or before 2010(i.e 25×× models, they are easily jailbroken), and when getting ps3 from the UK make sure its not faulty with the yellow light of death (YLOD) other wise it will give you an issue, due to the economy you will have to budget 40 to 60k.
