We all know the ability of Havertz as a striker is not what we desire it to be. We all know Havertz is not a Thierry Henry elite level of striker. We all know he leaves much to be desired.

We also know about Gyokeres from his time at Sporting CP, but he's not been able to replicate that form at Arsenal. We see him score even for Sweden but somehow he's not been that guy for Arsenal.

Anybody who has watched this current arsenal team objectively well enough will tell you the truth that Gyokeres dip in form at Arsenal is neither his teammates' fault nor the manager's. ( NOTE : I SAID "OBECTIVELY" O, not people who blame Arteta for Almost everything and Anything)

Gyokeres has issues with first touch, getting in the right position and other tiny details that has made it difficult for him to be that elite striker in a big league like EPL. Some of these issues are not what manager will coach out of you.

Now the fact that the manager is pressed for time and he needs to get results with other big teams breathing down his neck; it's only normal for the manager to think of other options. Whether we like him or not, Havertz is that other option. We already agree he's not the best striker out there one can rely on, but then the manager will look at other qualities he possess and use it to his team's favour.

Me I won't fault the manager for benching Gyokeres for Havertz and vice versa when either of them didn't impress in the last one or two matches. I am more interested in the results and not who plays or who sits on the bench. I will take a new fresh striker ahead of them both any day the transfer window opens.

Blue, are the Kai fans aware that he's not Henry too? Why is it hard to criticize his underwhelming performances while Gyo fans that never wanted this in the first place see Kai fans rubbish Gyo so easy despite finishing as top scorer in a system that never played to his strengths last season which was his first?

When he joins doesn't it help the attack? Thank God Kane is a direct example of what this is all about. Kane drops deep, is in the box when you need him. Kane does EVERYTHING Arteta expects of Havertz and is still a threat.

I don't think Kai is worse, rather I think both Gyokeres and Havertz are inconsistent as far as the CF role is concerned at Arsenal.

The last Champions league game vs Lille, Gyokeres started the game and didn't do anything till Havertz came on in the second half, got a goal and we went on to win the game. Gyokeres also started the game vs Napoli and didn't do much to help us win.

I was expecting Gyokeres will start yesterday like most fans, but I guess Arteta thought why start Gyokeres who hasn't justified his inclusion in the last 2 champions league matches? Areta started Havertz and that one sef chose yesterday to drop a stinker performance till Gyokeres came on to provide Rice's assist.

Both Gyokeres and Havertz are not consistent upfront and that's where the issue lies. I guess the only reason Arteta starts Havertz most times is because when he plays, he kinda makes our frontline fluid when compared to Gyokeres. But the crux of the matter is both players are inconsistent when it comes to their primary duty of being in that CF role to convert chances.

Let's assume for once i agree with all of this about inconsistency, the bolded is absolutely not true.
