Arteta's choice of Hincapie over him was his conservative nature and wanting to defend instead of attack.

I told my friends who came around whom we watched the match together that Eze in that same position will hit it once with his left foot despite being a right footer and the ball will end at the back of the net.

That chance just looked like Havertz went back to his default mode when he first joined Arsenal. If he had scored that goal, we would've destabilized city and take full control of the game.
