daveP: Congrats to this resilient team. They brought it on and refused to surrender that lead. 3/4 quarters won against a powerhouse is the thrill. I didn't see that Liz Cambage sef, with loud mouth. What she's currently doing is even more pitiful. These ladies wore 🐯🐯 spirit and gave the perfect revenge after that fiasco.
Murjanatu Promise Ezinne
These 3 in particular are something else. I didn't add Amy cos i just personally believe she's still loading.😂 If she comes full battery... Oh my!!
There were too many 2pointer misses today. We ought to be 100+ but I'll take this upset so well. We deserve the win and shout out to Rena Wakama 🇳🇬💯 1st game the lost 1/4 and won 3/4. This time, they won 2/4 and went thru. That 3rd quarter is one hell of a quarter. Restricting your opponent to 5points is crazy crazy. Promise acting like the Princess that was promised. 😎😆 Amy for game 1 Ezinne for game 3 The Ezinne Thrill Scream.

Jodera: True... I just want our both sides of attack to be strong cos we really depended on the Rhs last season. If both can give 30g/a personally and if the probable striker or Havertz can really give us that high number (which I hope he does if we don't get), then we can go all the way.
Links to Gyokeres is getting strong sha. Make we deh see. Next season sef, i want to see threat from left than Right. Let defenders get so conscious of it that they'll stop doubling up on Saka. |

Roland17: I don’t like this formation or should I say, the player selection. We are grossly limiting Rice when we play him deep.
At the end of the season when Partey returned and he moved up, we saw how impactful he was around scoring zones.
Also, Rice lacks the ability to build plays from deep, which slows down our ability to transition into attacking areas when we recover possession or are building from the back.
This is why I asked what is the plan for Partey or that DM/Deep CM position.
I hope to see Rice in attacking zones when we have possession because he is a big threat. While it is true that it will limit Rice, let's also bear in mind that Rice was a machine because of emergency in our midfield last season. He was not necessarily playing his primary duty, and that truly hampered productivity for his overall game upfront. I want to believe that Merino will ease that extra duty and make him play just like he did at Westham and even better. Besides, Martin can even switch to lcm. But that leaves the Partey sport open truly. Who is replacing? |

Jodera: If this is the formation then I'll expect more from Martinelli this season too.
Calafiori who can push attack, Merino/Rice (depending on who plays , who can push attack too.
Hopefully, last season Martinelli is just a blip personally, and most especially if a striker arrives, with or without injury, both Martinelli and Saka, the least expected PL goals should be 16. And if on G/A basis, 30G/A. As you said, no excuses for Nelli henceforth. His LHS is now rejuvenated. |

JohnBullMySon: 2040 Olympics isn't far oh. They already have strong biddings. Also the financial readiness is important and it does not look good for Naija. Atm, Nigeria cannot even afford up to 1 billion USD of capital expenditure in a single fiscal year. Which means that even with our current borrowing levels, it will take 10+ years to fund the infrastructure to accommodate the Olympics. Worse still, our infrastructure is way below the standard of cities like Paris, Tokyo before they started to spend money on upgrades.
Hosting Olympics will take Nigeria into colossal debt. That's even if we win it. We'll need something close to national budget to successfully plan, prepare and end if we win bid. Billions of dollars. If they have sense, that event, theoretically, can singlehandedly revive the dead tourism sector. But na big dream wey dey run pass Flash. Who wan chase am? |

mostob: Looks like Merino is almost home.
The next on the list will be a striker. That one go hard sha.
On this Saka's deputy talk, anybody who pay attention to Arteta will always know his intention. Towards last season, do you think Arteta just played Martinelli on RW for the fun of it? Nah.
From my POV, Jesus will play more as a winger this season. Havertz and a new striker will probably rotate. Truly we need that striker. Can't rely on Kai. Let new 9 be cake and Kai the icing or decor.

Carry attacker wey you never use for 2years go. You use better winger for qualifiers kon drop am for the attacker wey you no call in years. Only to not use the attacker. What's this thought process of RW? abi was she imposed? And why were they playing smart football prior to WWC but suddenly DISJOINTED? Summary of this Outing: Disjointed performance. Nonsense. Someone is using the word unlucky. Lol. Unlucky is Man City dominating a UCL final and a Kai Harvetz moment gives Chelsea the trophy. Not Underwhelming and nonsense play and expecting one of the powerhouses in women's football to be looking and not reading the game with their high intelligence and decision making. |

I see a few that said they're playing fine now admitting it is rubbish these ladies are playing. One would think that the ginger of 16years absence would help. Perhaps, it's time to be using under 25s to execute this kind of tourney. These ladies are feeling either too big and lazy and lack of urgency. But I haven’t seen anyone in that frame from the U20 qualifying games till date.
But again let me take you guys back, I would have picked Ordega ahead of Ifeoma Onumonu going to the Olympics.. She’s still among the top3 quickest forwards we have.! Come to think of it, you're right. At least she also sabi rush into gaps and go behind. Just that looking up be her ish. |

lovewins: Funny thing is they have a better chance at qualifying than Nigeria does. They are currently at 0 points with +2 goal difference. They just need to win and they are guaranteed 2nd place in their group. My prayer is they lose sha cause winning just makes things very complicated for us. Absolutely. Na Drone spoil Canada Who came up with such idea sef? See how action of a few don sabotage everyone's dreams!! I hate such moments. Same with Ofili omission right now. Village pipu don add Canada as international branch office. Whatever the outcome today, i pray we net at least. That's the most annoying aspect of this Olympics outing for me. |

It is why i face front till now for any transfer news regarding Arsenal. Eiiii. How i see this, is that this is a self destruct move if this continues. Cos one day, if we have another manager and they wantu focus on academy sales, rivals should not now be using this present mode to justify their stance that we churn our averages that we don't consider good enough. |
