Hmmm.

All of dem sabi themselves. They cahoot together and push agendas together and all that crap. Pr merchants than actual journalism too. So if it has come home to roost, good for them cos you'll be surprised at the blindness behind their pr for some players. Plus the bigman players thing is true whether the whole gist is false or true. I hope this noise dies and we face business again. But as each day passes, this WCQ is looking bleak and I'm preparing my mind for a 2nd absence as it stands.

Osimhen is currently on Instagram live he dey para, he’s dragging Finidi
I'm not in Osimhen's shoes to justify what he did but that was not necessary atall. His intonation and swearing shows how pained this is. Also further proves that Respect is the go-to mentality of local coaches and not man management. Each day that passes, e dey clear person for eye say Finidi is unfit for the job

Also, like i said pages back, they all played their hearts out at afcon and finidi was the asst to Jpes. Why did a gulf show up immediately he was announced? It tells a big story of what was ongoing backstage. Maybe one day we'll hear it all. But it just proves that the oldies in NFF are bereft of ideas, intelligence and tact at the job.

Hmmm. Make better coach just enter this team. One with the Keshi aura. Cos even if I don't want Finidi, that big man part has been consistent for decades. But he seems to harp onto that instead of using his own power to prove bigmen wrong.

Shebi bigman feel say team na cartel. You use better player and get results and stand your grand. But na Tanimu you sef carry. Lwkm🤣

If Antonio Conceicao is the man then fine, but he will only earn my respect by first coming in to stamp his authority on this bunch of overpampered players, no look person face or what club he plays for, if any player isn't up to it then DROP his azz. Infact he should start by weeding out deadweights like Ndidi, Iheanacho, Awaziem etc and others in that order who just come to camp to make up numbers. There's no basis for seniority anymore, you've got to earn your place. Now that NFF are serious about embarking on a concerted scouting programme for players across Europe etc who are eligible to represent the team, then they should also plan serious friendlies against top countries during the next available windows before the AFCON qualifiers start in September. We can use those friendlies to invite 90% of those new players. Time to see new faces like Elijah Adebayo, Chuba Akpom, Dominic Solanke (surely he should be considering Nigeria at this point in his career), Nathan Tella (needs to be fully accessed), Fisayo Dele-Bashiru (we need to see more of him in a midfield of new players), Felix Agu,Kingsley Ehibizue, Njinmah, Osho, Jordan Torunarigha, Akpoguma, Ndah, Gift Orban and any other Naija eligible player out there in those friendly games. Not forgetting others like Lesley Ugochukwu, Carney Chukwuemeka and Madueke if they want to take a shot at real international football and a world cup chance.

Antonio Conceicao can them have an idea of which players he can integrate into his full roster for depth when the AFCON qualifiers start, those AFCON games will show what depth and quality we can build ahead of the tense WCQ games next year. There's still enough time to fix the current mess Finidi has left us in, but NFF have to show they mean business by being proactive: announce the new technical adviser/coach, start an expansive scouting programme for players across Europe as soon as possible, and then schedule friendly games ahead of time.

Abi how you take see am?

How we've evaded countries in the 3rd column for almost a decade beats me. With a good tactician, we can drag results in premium motivated mode. Even 4th column sef we no dey see.

Yeah Chidi still have a long way to go but again let’s give her some credit, she’s just 15yrs and will grow as time goes on especially when she gets to play under better Coaches… These are some of the things been taught at the Academy and College level (The basis)….!
Hopefully she grows and shines on. She knows how to get into spaces, tight or free. If she can add shot power alone, she will be the golden boot winner at this world cup.

Officiating in Africa is just so disgraceful. Super eagles were denied a clear penalty against South Africa. Now, the U17 girls were denied two good goals too.
Congratulations to the girls. They did well but could have done better. Don't let me even get started with the whole coaching stuff because it is needless but this team is capable of so much more with a good coaching.
Shebi na Olowookere dey coach dem? He's more like a handler than a tactician. Dun why ex falcon players are staying away from this jobs sincerely. Maybe it's see finish. Yet...

Omo. Chidi needs to work on her in box threat o. What are all those baby passes she thinks are shots at goal?

Abidemi is the more impressive player all rounder to me sha. But Taiwo Afolabi's experience and vision are key in that middle. Only that one needs backup incase of anything.

It is still the same qualifies. No manager will wave a magic wand. And, yes, I would have preferred Amunike given the chance, knowing that we have a tough task ahead.

I have said many times I am not result oriented but performance oriented. France missed USA 94 world cup and won France 98. Those that went to 94 and did not win, did not still win France 98.

My problem is Finidi is not about the result but the football education he is passing. I am not seeing clean possession football and the built up play map looks terrible.

The aim should be having us playing well and building on it. With time the results will come.
Joe, this is not league football where time exists. Anybody that can't offer the Target should getat. And yet, waving magic wand in football exists. Do i need to explain this basic historical fact to you? It exist all around us. Same crop of players, diff managers(with limited time) but big results. Whatever happens after is not relevant as what will be remembered is you came, you saw and you conquered. Simple!!

The examples you're giving is pissing me off a little.

We missed tournaments but didn't come to win when we came back so we sef na example to use if the aim of that example is to show that MISSING OUT is no big deal. Lol. At the expense of teams like Benin and SA?? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

For the situation we are in now, i hate to repeat it but you're making me do

Amunike is NOT the Answer. He can't win 5/6 right now. Naaah. Beside, contrary to what you said, EVERYTHING is wrong with Finidi. We dey complain for white man too. So no be matter of preference for whoever. We screamed down Randy Waldrum's entire body frame when he was Messing up the female team till he downloaded sense. He has time. But for this very one, No Time to be using this volatile position to be finding lab scientists right now.

How come when it comes to Finidi, stake now matters?
And now that we are here, you consider hik the answers to thile disaster on ground?? For real?

Mind you, at the beginning if it was Amunike chosen, i have no p. He's the better of the two tactically. But now that we are here NOW, bringing up his name as the answer is a NoNo. The fact you're not considering it can even get worse is muzzin me.

If NOTHING IS AT STAKE, then we can, as Goodjoe keeps insisting, give Amunike his chance and let his results talk for him

They speak with utmost certainty as if they are God. Like you said: what if? Or on the flip side: What if not?

Amunike may or may not succeed. It is until he gets there and performs or fails that we will know. No more theories.
The mathematical fact is if this is AFCON qualifiers, i won't even join to say No to Amunike. It Is what's at stake that's making me say No to those clamoring for him.

We are already in a very difficult situation and Amunike doesn't have what it takes to move us out of it and that's just permutations at play.

Maybe they're comfortable with having two 94 ex-ints, albeit 3, being at the helm of back to back World Cup absences for the alleged Top stars generation since the golden one. Maybe.

The only permutation I'll agree with them is that Amunike was a better choice than Finidi. But we're past all that one now. We wan cross Rubicon or Atlantic wey dem never tame.

These nff guys need to grow up or get out.

This mentality that every Nigerian Assistant will suddenly be great head coach is wack

You understudy for a few years
You further coaching license and modify what you understudy
You experiment with a club and eyes will see and hype that you indeed have a pattern/philosophy
You take up small country jobs to test your mental strength under pressure and difficult situations
You brush up your press conference skills and PR

People will do the rest when the time comes

All of these skipped NFF in their 100s of hours of deliberation because Greed is the principal thing to them

The fact they've considered jokers for selection proves this

The Yobo one no work
The Salisu own no work
The Finidi one no work
Will they ever wake up from this assistant stuff?

Don't worry yourself, he has taken the job. It was about forcing the Sports Ministry to bring out money for a foreign coach.

That is why they always kick against Amunike.
I'll maintain my stance even if it is a little difficult

But he CAN'T WIN us 5/6 of the games. Fact!! This is not to hype any foreign manager. But it rather highlights why foreign managers are chased aside the greedy intentions of those leading our sports.

That's the plan whenever you hear them clamour for invitation of home based players to market them to obscure leagues and then start another round of invitee

The indigenous coaches are good in this. To them the cuts and kick backs worth more than their coaching ambition
You get it too.

Same is affecting the Referees too. They can't even make Caf list. The North Africans are smart and have been steady on afcon list for over 2 decades. To see Nigerian ref be like some precious metal from Thanos hand.

None of these coaches are setting a 7yr estimated plan that will sell their market to EVEN the francophone market one day. Everything is just agent peanuts and kickbacks for a player that moved to obscure league. None want to progress till they reach a level that for the sake of their coaching license level, they start getting big, juicy offers from even the Carribeans. Smh

Right now, we are in Calculator Mode and i dunno if you've thought about it, but this very Amunike CAN'T win 5/6 of the remaining games left to give us any iota of hope right now. There are many others that NFF know too that are good. Besides, being out of the job for a some time is a problem imo. It is what it is.
